Uni will always want the event to grow, like any business. However, sometimes true passion from creative gets through and then you get the great houses the fans love.

Look, I am IN LOVE with the Bioshock series. Probably my favorite FPS franchise ever. But it's all about budget and relevance. AWiL was re-used because it was expensive as hell, and TWD was brought back so many times because it was insanely relevant. HHN isn't just the creative team throwing their wildest dreams at the board anymore, it's a business. No one in GP knows Bioshock, and while it wouldn't be the most expensive house ever, it wouldn't be the cheapest either, especially if Big Daddies were prominent.

Yeah, I think icons are only being used for anniversary years, at least that’s the rumor. If it does come, I imagine Pennywise and StrTh with be in the advertising a LOT, maybe even as much as some icons

It’s been rumored to be a Voldemort & belatrix show featuring death eaters and such. I would be completely okay with nothing however, maybe just keep horror make up open with added stuff. Don’t tell anyone, but I never really liked B&T.

Yeah it would take away the calmer area Diagon currently is because if they put death eaters in they would DEFINITELY make it a big deal, they love to have a HP presence at the parks, makes them the big bucks.

The main concern with that is there would be so many people that show up for that, there would be crowding issues. Personally I think it'd be fine, it's just a pot raised by the community in the past. Also I'm pretty sure WB has had issues before.

@Maxmoser this is from me a couple months ago: for silence of the lambs: prison scene possibly younger hannibal murdering people scene hannibal's escape with dead police officers the ambulance with hannibal jumping out buffalo bill dark scene finally a scene at the island or an airport with hannibal jumping out buffalo bill murdering people and skinning people interlaid throughout these, I think it would be really dope I also think it could work as a Hannibal + Silence of the Lambs thing and now that I think about it add in the scene from All Nite Die in 2, and it's a pretty solid idea for a shorter house that would draw in a ton of people, and is possibly something the creative team would be passionate about.

1. that isn't definite yet 2. even if it goes through, Disney might sell some IPs they won't be using off, I'm imagining a lot of those horror related okay one: I never said it's as popular as NoES or Halloween, only that it's possible that it will come to the event again. I think it has a ton of creative scenes I've seen, and I haven't even watched the films! It's almost definitely not going to become as big of a part of the event as the titans, but I could definitely see it as a classics maze sometime in the future. gtfo

Yeah I agree it's almost 100% going to be 2 houses, I just said I didn't want it to I mean, we are getting multiple lands based on video games, I would be surprised if we didn't see a single video game IP at the event in the next 5 yrs

have they ever done 5 SS houses before? I would actually be very okay with this, recently my favorite OG have been in the sprungs

Nahhh.. I’ve only seen season one but even if season 2 doubles the potential I think IT has sooo many different scare ideas and locations, StrTh doesn’t compete

sorry to be a bother, but I'm trying to get acquainted with the lingo of house design and would like to know what the phrases I have bolded mean. Yeah, the more I think about it, I feel like NoES has so many fun scenes that could work in a SS with huge effects, I would be okay with it getting a SS, but also I would really like to see at least one OG in a SS so it's 50/50 for me

I think word of mouth of which are the better houses is powerful at the event, and people who go in a house and don't like it are less likely to repeat it. AHS was the best imo, with Scarecrow at #2, I just think The Shining wasn't that great of a house, and because people spread it, and people experienced it and didn't like it, less people went through

My completely half-baked, uninformed predictions: Thing will be in a SS as I imagine it's a passion project for creative, probably one of the two near the back of NY IT gets front of the park StrTh will be in the other front of park SS the creative team will let at least one OG have a SS but not sure, none of the other IPs really have to be in a SS AHS will get MIB tent cuz it's gonna be small, maybe the facade will be the small house the cult spends most of the time in during the show I think Blumhouse will try to keep Halloween out of here because of their bad track record with the location NoES will get a tent in the back or shrek, Halloween getting the other, both will probably get facades based on their respective "houses" TrT will get the new parade building leaving one OG in a tent, as Scarecrow did so well last year

I think IT'll be front of the park, cuz that SS is larger I'm pretty sure and IT will take much more space than StrTh will
