  1. This is so hard for this year, there wasn't a single house that I didn't like for one reason or another. But after four nights so far...

    1. Winter's Night

    2. H.R. Bloodengutz

    3. Forsaken

    4. Nevermore

    5. The Thing

    6. Saws & Steam

    7. Nightingales

    8. In Between

  2. Here's a rough final template. I want to have it done for closing weekend.

This shirt and design are for personal use. As a fan made tribute. None of these shirts will be made for anyone for any sort of monetary gain. This is purely my own design since i'm a huge fan of the house.

Nice work. That's what I had in mind with the front of the shirt, putting the TV screen logo on it. I like the listing of the movie titles. :)

  3. I asked Bloodengutz what the H.R. stood for and he said something along the lines of "Your royal heiness...only backwards". Thought that was pretty funny. Another time through I told him that I hope the storm doesn't interfere with his radio frequencies. I tell you what, I really don't know why but I LOVE this character. I personally would like it if someone were to create a t-shirt based on him. I'd totally buy it.

I had thought about making one from the artwork of the house via Zazzle or Cafe Press but wasn't sure if I could get in trouble for doing so (with Uni...I don't know how much they care about that sort of thing) so I didn't. I wasn't going to sell them. Just make one for myself because I loved the house and to show support for the awesome cast.

  4. Spent a lot of time in this zone on Friday night this last weekend. The SAs in this zone are so fun to watch, especially the minions, and my favorite sin is Vanity. The way she looks is creepy but perfect for what too much Vanity would probably get you. While I still would have rather seen a 7 house, this zone is pretty cool.

  5. This zone was much more fun to me this past Friday than it was opening weekend. Friday night a quite mischevious SA trapped my friends and I from exiting and it was great. I look forward to trying it again at the end of the month.

  6. I'm a little delayed in coming to post this, busy week, but a great big thank you to all the scareactors working last weekend. Both Friday and Saturday nights were great but I have a few specifics.

From both Friday and Saturday, the Abe Lincolns in Bloodengutz. I am fairly sure I got scares from the Abe on both casts because the H.R. on Friday was different than the H.R. I had on Saturday. I didn't note run times til Saturday and I went through the house around 6:55 and H.R. gave me a shot out to my HNN shirt. (If he's a board member, I am sorry I could not hear what you said to me after that so whatever my response was to what you said, I'm sure it was nonsensical). Also the George Washington got my friend real good on Saturday during our second run through around 11:15. Abe left us alone that time but I'm afraid it's too late, I've already developed a fear of $5 bills. ;)

In Nightingales on Saturday night (7:45 and 11:26) both times the Nightingales in the room with the "bunk beds" double teamed me and came at me from both the sides of that room at the end of it Was not expecting that at all. Also the Nightingale with all the bodies on our second run through, came round the corner and bam...you were right there. First time I had seen this particalur scene with a SA that close to the crowd and it was great.

Saws and Steam around 6:40 on Saturday with the air blasters. Normally would not say a house so bright could catch me off guard like that but they got me good.

Cast in the Poe house on Saturday about 9:55 p.m., I had tons of scares in this house, and specifically this was the first time I had a scare in the Black Cat room.

Winter's Night at about 7:22 on Saturday, several scares here too, but one of the male ghosts who hides towards the front and one of the people in robes at the end. We can see you, but I still have seen you get people every single time I have gone through, and now including me. The second time we went through, about 11:33 that night, the scareactor near the miniatures, I had one of my best scares from the four nights I have gone. I didn't even know they had anyone there because I had never seen someone and when she popped out, she got me good!

Inbetween on Saturday at about 9:45, first winged creature got my friend GOOD!

SA in the wheelchair in Acid Assault early Saturday night rolled up on me out of nowhere and scared the crap out of me. That's the first scare I have gotten in that SZ and it was great.

The minions in 7, you guys are awesome. I sat on the side of this SZ on Friday night for a while watching you work and it was so much fun watching you scare people.

Friday night in Nightmaze, we got trapped trying to get out at one end by a SA who was quite playful and blocked our exit twice It was great. I didn't have the best run through here opening weekend, but Friday night this was much more fun.

I got so many scares this weekend, especially on Saturday, and I really wish I would have had the time to write this earlier, including for opening weekend, because I know I am forgetting some good ones but I just have to say that last Saturday night was one of my best nights at HHN in the 6 years I have been going. Thank you so much!

  7. I asked two different supervisors in the Universal Store this past Friday night about the cards. They did, indeed, confirm that the decks of cards were sold out the first weekend and that they will not be ordering more. I'm hoping that they are mistaken. How could Universal not take advantage of such a sale - they know that the cards would continue to sell, and at $11.00 per deck, they would rake in the money. I was there the first Friday night, but they were "sold out for the night" and I didn't make it back until this past Friday to find them "sold out for good." Come on Universal, really?

My friend was told the same. That they were sold out and they would not be getting anymore. I was pretty surprised.

  8. I was really disappointed in this scarezone. Too small, not scary, terrible masks. I get what one person was saying about how there were hardly any scarezones just a few years ago but I guess I just expect more, especially when we've had some really great SZs the couple of years.

  9. Went through this house three times this weekend. The first time it wasn't a favorite, interesting to look at but not a lot of scares. But after I went through on Saturday, I'm thinking Friday may have been during a cast change because the two times on Saturday were sooo much better. The cast was awesome. Looking forward to going through again this weekend.

  10. I went through this house five times this weekend, and every time I went it got better, with the best run being Saturday night while it was raining. My husband and I had a big gap between us and the people in front of us so it was like having the house to ourselves and I got several scares. I can see the eyes being somewhat of a giveaway, but I still like them. Maybe if they could dim them a little or something, that would help, or not have them on on all the actors in that area. I don't know, they just didn't bother me that much but still maybe some tweaking is in order. Anyway, I loved this house, thought the scareactors did great, and it was just amazing looking inside.

  11. We were there for both the downpours this weekend. Had ponchos, but especially Friday it just rained so hard they didn't work all that well. I had heard about the SnS closing down on Friday due to rain from a friend who was in line, but I don't know about the rest of the houses on Friday as we went into Finnegan's and had a couple drinks while we waited it out. During the rain on Saturday we went through Forsaken, The In-Between and Poe and the lines were very short. Especially in Forsaken, we were pretty much by ourselves and it was one of my best house trips of the weekend. It definitely cleared out the lines some, so bring a poncho or small umbrella and enjoy the short line waits/emptyish houses as long as it doesn't look like you're in danger of lightning.
