And about the age limit, I know it's annoying having little kids but I just don't think that's fair. My first HHN, I was 10. Yes, I didn't look in really any house and I was scared out of my mind, but it was something I loved. So I really don't think it's fair to have an age limit UNLESS it was an extreme event, which we all know as scary as HHN is, it is not an EXTREME haunt event with touching and grabbing. Personally I believe they toned it down this year, well the past couple of years they have. I mean what happened to houses like the Body Collectors!?!??!
I agree with you. I just took my son for the first time last weekend. He is 11. I think most parents know what their kid can and cannot handle and even though I knew he'd be fine, I still thought quite a bit about it before I decided I would take him. But, I am glad I did take him because he had fun and he wants to go back. It's unfortunate that some parents don't take the same care with regards to their children, but I would hate to see a set age limit instituted based on the actions or complaints of a few idiots. I don't think it will ever happen though. Too much money lost which is the same reason a few drunken idiots won't cause the park to go dry for the event any time soon. I know they do that in California, but I just don't see it happening here.

Our first run through the house was fantastic, just Saturday's was a bummer. Though we were disappointed, we know shit happens. As many people are going through these houses on a nightly basis it's surprising that more doesn't happen. But our saving grace for that second run was the reason we waited in that line from hell in the first place, my son, who had braved three other houses to make it over to AVP. He didn't care one bit about what was missing. He just loved seeing the Predators and by the time we got to the last one in the house he was just smiling from ear to ear. I know it sucks getting a bad run through a house, but at least his joy from it made up for the bad run for us.

We also went through the AVP house right after that happened. My son had waited all night to go in to that house and to have so much of it "missing" when we went through was really disappointing as my husband and I had gone through the night before and really enjoyed it. But, that's why we always go more than once, and it sounds like you do too. I think you'll score it higher when you get a chance to go through with everything working/in its place.

We were in line for the house last night when it got shut down. Heard someone got hurt in it and they had to be medically evacuated. Don't know if it had anything to do with that section (if it's the same one we're talking about at the end) but I do know it was definitely closed at the time we went through the house when it reopened.

Whoops...Just saw this was for Hollywood, lol. nvm!

Censoring the callbacks? Really?
I agree. Time for a new show. I vote for Repo. Bring on the Graverobber!

I believe it was only Preferred and Premier Passholders who could sign up for the AP Party last year.
Thank you. I thought it might be, I just couldn't remember for sure. Haven't had an AP in a few years. We'll figure something out.

Can anyone confirm that the Seasonal AP works for signing up for the AP pre-opening events the first couple weekends? I have a regular AP but my husband has a Seasonal and we have people we're planning to bring in with us. Just want to make sure both our tickets will work to sign up.

I believe that Universal is trying to clarify things for AP holders.
To attentd the AP party, you need a HHN ticket that will grant you entry to HHN on that night.
The 2nd weekend is not included in the FFP.
The 2nd Saturday is not included in the FFP+.
The parties are not "blacked out" for these AP HHN ticket holders. They can not attend the party because they do not have HHN tickets that would grant them admission to the event on those nights.
Ah, o.k.. I was reading through that quickly and didn't make the connection between the dates. whoops.

I see that the AP party info went up last night. Looks like they are blacking out the second weekend for some tickets though. I don't remember them doing that before.

Was happy to see this house wasn't actually a "prison" house, as once rumored. Look forward to seeing what kind of revenge Bobby's victims have in store for him.

Did not care for the concept of the first house, not particularly excited for this one either. Cast was great last time though. Hopefully that insanity and intensity returns.

Looking forward to this house. Just rewatched the movie after many years, and I think it will be a fun one. My husband has a Slaughtered Lamb Pub shirt from the Greenwich Village bar of the same name, so I'm sure he's going to wear that one night.

This is one of the houses this year that I am actually looking forward to. I think it has a lot of potential.

While I'm a fan of the Walking Dead show, I'm not excited by what we've heard so far. I'm not really excited for this year at all, actually. I know they will do the best they can with what they've got to work with, and I know they probably didn't have much choice in the matter, but nothing for this year really has me feeling like "I can't wait to see that!" which is unfortunate. There just isn't a lot I'm interested in.
Of course I'll still go,and I'll hope to be amazed and change my mind because everything was so great. But, I was hoping for that last year, and last year was the first time I skipped a night at HHN in my 7 years of attending, even though I had admission, and had traveled to Orlando specifically to go. Nothing last year made me feel like I had to be there or I was missing something. The only thing I did miss were the unmanageable crowds and I was definitely fine with that. And there was originally more I was interested in seeing last year than this year.
I'll reserve final judgment until after attending, but I'm missing the excitement and anticipation this event used to bring to my summer.

I enjoyed this house more this weekend than last. The rampaging Frank got me really good on Sunday. I was watching him, I knew he was there but then (FLASH) the next second he was right in front of me and got me good.
I will try the P&T glasses trick and see how it goes. I do like the house as-is though.

Went through this house several times this weekend and was not disappointed. I finally got to see a couple of things I missed last weekend, and the cast here was on fire, especially when I took my friend through for her first visit on Sunday and she got just about every scare there was. It was fantastic, and a great way to start off our night.

Sarmoti.
Siegfried And Roy Masters Of The Illusion. It's like their catchphrase irl.
Thank you. I went to Vegas several times before his injury but never saw their show.

Curious what happened to the bride as well. Also, what are they yelling in the chapel room? Ceremonia? Sarmonia?

Went through this house again last night and it was amazing!!! Saw some additional effects I did not see last week and got several great scares. Loving this house!!
