  1. my biggest hope is that they let Universal use the human characters. I wish for nothing more than to see them in the house or the streets....
  2. good question, I kind of hope they are just regular puppets so that there is less chance of them breaking midway
  3. my only hope is that the sets will be amazing. I really hope they do something really cool and awesome sets' wise. As well as the intensity of course.
  4. Everything sounds great and this could be the best house of the year. My biggest fear would be that the puppets break or something happens.... That would seriously suck... Imagine the Werewolf house with no werewolves lol I wonder how many times we will see the werewolf, I hope it is more than twice or something like that. The Werewolf doesn't even appear that much in the movie to begin with, So it makes me wonder how much it will show up in the house. but I am happy for this.
  5. as far as for the actors' look, Everyone was bald and they were just wearing Camo pants and tank tops for the most part. (some actors had gas masks) So costume wise it was nothing special really, just a bunch of "crazy soldiers" basically. But the actors in that house had a lot of energy. like A Lot. it was pretty intense.
  6. I am definitely looking forward to this house the most. This could be amazing. I am curious on how and where they will use electricity in the house (Specially since this is 3D) That's what I am most curious about.
  7. Yeah, I am most excited for the sets and how everything will look. The actors will probably look the same way they did in the first house, so I don't expect any surprises with their costumes. But I am really looking foward to see the actors have the same energy the actors had in the first house.
  8. lol about going alone. Yeah, Not for HHN, but going to other parks like Disney or Sea World with a big group can be a hassle. Everyone wants to do soemthing different lol. I say, if you play it smart and you don't do the shows, doing the houses 3 times could be done. (Not all of them, but at least half) You do most of the houses you can when the park opens. You could use the Express pass when the lines get long. And then near closing time you might be able to do some houses again. But, Like I was saying earlier, I see people using their Express pass when there is pretty much no one waiting in the regular line, I wouldn't pay that much to waste the pass like that...
  9. If you cannot get express pass, you Could still do all houses if you have a plan. You do have to be waiting outside the gate for at least an hour. Before the park opens it does start to get crowded, But if you are near the front of the line you will be okay. you would have to walk fast and don't stop for the scarezones at first. Most of the time the tents and the Parade Building house don't get as crowded until later that night, I usually leave those for last. This doesn't happen every time (Sometimes they do get long lines) but last year I remember the least crowded houses would be Alice Cooper and the Universal Monsters house on most nights. (Their lines were like 50-75 minutes, but that was much shorter than waiting 120-140 minutes for Walking Dead and Silent Hill..... Walking Dead and Silent Hill were Impossible to do after 8:30 PM) I never use Express, I use FFP so I am able to go more than once, but I am still able to see every house most of the time if I want to. If I didn't get to do all houses it was because I got to the park late that day, Or there were people waiting inside the park already for HHN to open. (One night Silent Hill had a long line as soon as the park opened from people that were waiting inside the park, so it depends.) Walking Dead had really really short lines at the beginning of the day last year. The lines would start to get long around 7 PM or 7:30. but then after 8:00 the lines would be like 2 hours... Express Pass is ideal. But you could do all houses without it. It could be done....... You just have to be really quick going from house to house.
  10. One thing I could never understand is this.... The park opens, regular Lines for houses are 5 minutes long, there is barely any line at all, maybe 5-10 people going in the house... And then I see people using their Express pass to go on the house, that barely has anyone in it lol, I know sometimes it is hard to know wether Universal is lying with the wait times or not, but at the beginning of the event most houses don't have a long line. I don't know, If I had a pass I would probably want to use it when lines are getting longer, but I wouldn't use it as soon as the park opens. But that's just me.
  11. Alice Cooper also created his own haunted house before no? I remember someone saying something about that. (that he had experience with creating a house)
  12. the two rooms I disliked the most was his "Home" room and the "School" room, they just felt kind if silly to me. I liked the spider room and the final room the most.
  13. I don't know. I have no idea but I will say that was another house that "felt cheap" to me. those two houses just didn't feel like Universal houses. (again, I Know they were not cheap to make, nothing is cheap....) they just did not felt like good houses (specially after seeing Poe done in the tent, both Alice and Penn/teller were very low in quality)
  14. I understant everything JDW is saying, but even though the idea is really stupid and makes no sense, I still enjoy them. I don't know, I guess the lack of science in the show doesn't bother me as much as other stuff bothered me (Like freaking Andrea) I will take unrealistic walking corpses that don't explode over Andrea any day lol
  15. what I dont understand is why using artist from the past like that? is it to have a wider appeal? And why not use bands that are darker when it comes to their imagery and lyrics? I'm not saying they should ask bands that are popular right now like Avenged Sevenfold or anything like that. but Like JDW said why use all these washed up acts? Is it because it will bring the most people? But if bringing people is what they want then why not do houses based on more comercial acts? bands that are not even rock and roll? As for the Alice Cooper house, the thing I didn't like is that it felt cheap (I know it wasn't cheap because building a house takes a lot) But it felt cheap when I went in it. It didn't feel like a house that Universal would have made. to me it just Felt that way.
  16. Rob Zombie? Maybe. He did say he is done with horror movies (at least for a long time) But then his film career is really young. He has only made like 6 movies so I don't think Washed up is the right word. Washed up? I would say Axl Rose from Guns n Roses. that's a washed up artist. Whatabout Kiss? Smashing Pumpkins?
  17. The problem I see is that Hollywood might get a really awesome house, It might do great and we will be left with the sloppy seconds again... Look at the Cooper house, Hollywood's house from what I saw online looked nice. Orlando's house was nowhere near as good. The actors did a really great job in that house but the house itself sucked. There was nothing awesome about the house itself. Nothing was really that great. Again, the Actors totally saved the house for me, but I would be worried that a Black Sabbath house would suffer the same fate here as far as sets, costumes go.
  18. maybe he was scared of zombies because they are disgusting looking? seriously they are rotting corpses that are walking around trying to bite you with their rooting teeth... Whats NOT scary about that? I can understand that zombie movies are not scary. You are not going to have nightmares from watching a zombie movie. But zombies are pretty grotesque looking. I don't see what is silly about being afraid of a walking corpse. They are pretty disgusting to look at.
  19. I really really hated the back entrance as well. I hope they never do that again lol.
  20. The only thing I hope this house has it's a queue video. That's it. I don't really care what monsters are in the house or anything. I just want a video of those two guys talking to the audience. (I wonder if it is easy or not to get the two actors to do the video for this, since they might be busy with other stuff, I dont know) But even if it is just two random guys playing the two characters in the movie I really wish they give us a video.
  21. See! They could totally remake the Make up show with Walking Dead (And replace the Wolfman bits) or just do something new, a 3D walking dead movie would be pretty amazing at universal. I wish they thought of this...
  22. I loved the Friday the 13th house. It was everything it needed to be. (It was the best house the Jaws queue has ever had) It was awesome .
  23. well, The way I see it, In the Horror Make up show they talk about the effects done in the movie the Wolfman. But the Wolfman was a movie that was not really that successful. It didn't do that well in the box office and a lot of people criticized it. but Wolfman is nowhere as BIG as Walking Dead is right now. Walking Dead blows the Wolfman out of the water, no question about it. (the wolfman was never that big to begin with, and it got a house And they talk about it on the make up show) I still think Walking Dead should replace the Horror make up show. or something like that (maybe do the Horror make up show about the walking Dead effects. Same goes with some of the other properties in the park. I mean, was Twister really that big? did it really had a following? Couldn't they replace Twister with something Walking Dead related? Like I said before, I honestly think Walking Dead is bigger than Transformers was (As far as the critical acclaim goes) If they did a ride of Transformers, why couldn't they do something Walking Dead related? I think walking dead is big enough to draw crowds for years to come. It is certainly big enough to bring a lot of people in. Instead of just using it for HHN they could have it all year round. would pretty much be a big win win for everyone all around.
