yeah it was like a sequel. The Chucky house had nothing to do with the movies basically. My worry about Cabin is that they won't do too much with the monsters at the end of the movie because it is juts a lot easier to have redneck zombies on every room.

kind of reminded me of the Alice and the Penn and Teller houses to be honest.

I guess the biggest problem is that they were rushed, not even that they were IPs. I already said this, but you can see how much better the houses were last year for Hollywood. They did a pretty good job with WD and Silent Hill. (Better than our houses anyways) I guess the best thing to hope for is that they don't get rushed and that houses don't get canceled last minute.

There is something that made me wonder about the return of Walking Dead. Could they have the Walking Dead return next year? or the year after? Could they make the Walking Dead into a permanent haunt? I mean let's just say they completely do well this year, they sell out again, people really love the Walking Dead and this year ends up being better than the last. What then? I don't think they will turn away the cash cow.... Makes me wonder, how long could they have this IP for?

It is true they won't change, but a third show (or more) could have helped a lot last year with the crowds. Maybe they won't do more shows because they don't care. But more shows could help with the crowds, Specially this year. Maybe they don't have to compete with anyone, but I also wonder how much does negative word of mouth affects HHN in general. Usually when a lot of people complain about something they will step up and either fix the problem or change something. So, maybe if enough people complained about the lack of shows, they would do something? I don't know. It kind of makes me wish people started complain about the magic shows and the lack of shows at the event. Maybe Then they would do something about it.

or Halloween Resurrection for that matter.... Just makes me sick thinking about it.

checked the Ultra festival, wow, terrible lineup lol. As for things getting more expensive. That is just inevitable. The thing I hate is when they don't put as much effort as before while getting more money. It happens often. A company or product will gain fans and will start to cut costs and raise prices. They will raise the prices but not put the quality that made them famous in the first place. It happens with bands too. A band will get so famous that starts making albums just for money, But the new music will not be as good because they are only doing it to get more money.

Trying to put logic into that is kind of like trying to figure out how Jason lived all those years. Or why Freddy got Burned but his clothes weren't lol Or How did Michael Myers learn to drive? where did he learn? lol I mean, there are things that make absolutely no sense when it comes to horror movies. The button in Cabin in the woods didn't bother me because of the awesome mayhem we got to see. It was such a rewarding scene. I think the ending of that movie is one of the best endings I've seen from a horror movie. It was just great. I mean, I can understand why people might hate it. but I thought the movie was amazing.

which means the crowds this year will be just as bad.... Hopefully we will get 8 houses. Plus hopefully Transformers will be open during HHN so that might help.

was Rocky really tamed ? How so? They made the show shorter (they had to) but I don't see how the show was tamed.

they owe us a Forest part in the house. If it was up to me, I would make most of the house (if not half) in a forest. most of season 2 and parts of season 1 and 3 have been all in the forest. I really hope they do something like that.

well, that's my problem. Why can't we get a good show? something new and interesting? Why can't they find an awesome show for people to see? And, for that matter, why do they change the Bill and Ted show every year then? why not just do the exact same show from last year? with the same jokes and the same dance numbers and everything? why change at all? They don't do that with the magic shows... it just makes no sense. Why did get rid of Rocky Horror for that matter? so many questions???

If we get another magic show I am going to lose my sh!t. Seriously I really don't get why we get so many amazing streets and houses over the years, and some of the worst shows in the country.... pathetic. If we.... When we get the magic show this year I am just going to start boycotting universal...

The only thing I am afraid of this house is that they leave the "purge in the facility" for the very end. Maybe the last two rooms. I would really hate it if most of the house is the redneck zombie family over and over. As far as IP houses go, I am not sure anymore. I used to love them but last year made me start to hate them. I Love Cabin in the Woods, I love Evil Dead, I love the American Werewolf etc. But I am just hoping and praying to the HHN gods here that the houses are not as bad as last year

yeah it is pure speculation but that would be most ideal. The problem for me with Cabin in the woods is that they might want to focus more on the Zombie Redneck Torture Family, which could make the house not as interesting (Specially if we are getting Evil Dead on top of all) But it could be an amazing house if they create the creatures we saw at the end. I know some of them would be too difficult, but I would really love to see something like that.

very interesting line up.... One thing I am really glad about is not seeing Alice Cooper in there, I hope it stays that way. The houses might have similar themes, but I wish they used different creatures for each house. For example, I would be happy if they focused a little bit more on using monsters for Resident Evil than just zombies. It would be great to see different creatures from the games (plus the zombies) That way it would feel different. Same thing with Cabin in the Woods, I would hope they focus more on how the movie ended rather than the cabin and the beginning of the movie itself. It would make it feel different than Evil Dead. My fear about this line up is that one house will feel just like the other one. Maybe it won't happen but I would be a little bit afraid of that.

I also thought last year could be one of the worst for me, specially since the houses in 2011 were so great. It felt like a downgrade. IP houses can be done well, and they have been done well. But I don't think that was the case last year.

Having two zombie houses wouldn't suck. It could even be cool. Having two zombie houses the way the Walking Dead was last year would be freaking horrible. That would be my problem with having two zombie houses. That they both could suck. Now, Everyone knows Resident Evil has a lot of other creatures and monsters, not just zombies. So in this case The Resident Evil could be a cool house if they decided to add different creatures from the games. but seeing how Silent Hill turned out last year, it wouldn't surprise me if they ended up having most of the house filled with Zombies alone. I still have some hope that a RE house might be good. I have ZERO hope for a Walking Dead house if it comes back

Or, A transformers house! The Decepticons have taken over HHN. or Zombie Transformers, They could even have a zombie transformer version of the Walking Dead RV

True blood has a lot of romance, but the show is nothing like Twilight. the show doesn't shy away from blood and some gore. Is difficult to describe. The show does have a lot of romantic plots, and love triangles, but also, true blood deals with witches, werewolves, demons, ghosts, They could probably do a pretty scary house with True Blood. it can get violent too, people and vampires get killed all the time. I guess you could say Twilight is for kids, while True Blood is more for adults.
