  1. If you find time, I'd like a little help with a signature. I want my username next to the scorpion here: Unfortunately, I'm totally inept with GIMP and couldn't make it look good. If you could put it on there for me and make it look decent, I'd appreciate it.
  2. ... I'm sorry... I tend to get carried away with this stuff. I'd be happy to stop for a while and give others a chance. Hopefully the rest at the top will follow suit.
  3. I'm wondering about him too. It took me 6-8 hours to jump 49k yesterday, and I was playing fast. I will say that I've knocked him out of 1st a couple of times, though, so maybe he is legit.
  4. In 6 days there will be NO ESCAPE

  5. Anyone else notice that they nerfed the matching game? I'm getting half the points I normally would from it.
  6. Thanks for clearing things up re: the lost achievement. I was like "but... but... what'd I do? " lol Anyone know if there's a 100 wins achievement for the Beast game? I haven't seen anyone with it yet, I'm working on trying to get it now and it's really annoying. Not gonna be happy if I find out I wasted my time Edit: Yay, I just got it! Took almost 4 hours.
  7. Grrrr... I clawed my way to the top of the Leaderboard at one point last night, and got the achievement. I logged back in a little while ago and my achievement is gone. I thought it was because I lost my position, but it looks like everyone else who got it got to keep theirs. What gives? I didn't do anything unfair, just played the games like everyone else. Not cool >:/
  8. Looks like it wasn't quite ready before. You can now choose a Legion to join. What did you all pick? I went Maschorian (Prisoners).
  9. ... aaand it's gone from the dropdown list now. :c
  10. Looks like it's borked again. Can anyone get it to load? It kicks me back to the main page.
  11. All Nightmares headed out there tonight- have fun! Be sure to tell the rest of us how it went when you get back. :)

  12. There are some street scareactor pictures here: https://twitter.com/HauntOrlando
  13. Last year, Saturday, Oct. 8. It rained the entire night, which meant no scarezones. I love the streets more than anything at HHN, so yeah... that sucked. There was one plus to the crappy weather: the crowds got sick of the rain around midnight and started leaving the park in droves. At least four houses became walk-ons... so the last two hours before closing weren't so bad
  14. Can't wait to break my F5 key on Twitter tomorrow night~

  15. That'll be on Columbus Day weekend, which I've attended for the last two years and will be doing so again this year. I can vouch that Friday will be very busy, but it shouldn't be unbearable. If you utilize Stay and Scream (requires daytime park admission) or get in line well before the gates open (no later than 5:00), you shouldn't need an Express pass.
  16. I started to write a mini wall o' text about this, 'cause I love icons, but I'll cut it down into two main reasons: 1. They're creative and original. There is no other haunt in the world where you can meet Jack the Clown, The Director, etc. You can only see them by going to Halloween Horror Nights. And I am often surprised by just how creative they can get with these characters. Back in 2009, when rumors were flying around that they'd be using a theater usher as the icon, I thought "that's dumb, no WAY they'll do that" and well... Same deal with Lady Luck- I know she was created by Marketing, but who would've thought to make a character like that? Not many. 2. I'm one of those fans who becomes very immersed in the storyline for the event. Having an icon helps with that immersion. When I'm there, I feel like I'm in another world, even if that world is just "scary character comes along and takes over a theme park". And learning about the icon before I get there makes me excited to meet them at the event. I still remember my first time walking into Fear Revealed... my heart was racing, and the closer I got to Fear, the faster it went.
  17. Haha, I was reading that this morning. It's probably a fan. The Meetz Meats one was too dark for it to be Universal. Whoever writes for it does a nice job, though. (speaking of which, I really wish I didn't read that bit about the "veal"... ewwww)
  18. 1. Dark Legions: Beasts 2. Dark Legions: Prisoners 3. The Iniquitus 4. Dark Legions: Traditionals 5. Dark Legions: Warriors 6. Walkers (not sure if they're still a Legion or not) 7. Dark Legions: Vampires This was tougher than the houses. I'm really not sure what to think about 4 through 7, but the top 3 sound cool.
  19. 1. Welcome to Silent Hill - I can already hear myself screaming. 2. Penn and Teller: New(kd) Las Vegas 3. Gothic 4. Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare 5. Universal's House of Horrors 6. Dead End 7. The Walking Dead: Dead Inside
  20. Speaking as someone who loves scarezones, I was apprehensive about this last night... but after the site update, I am really excited. It's different, and it could be a lot of fun. And hey, we even got some story to go with it. I hope we find out more about The Iniquitus and the Legions over the coming weeks. Is anyone else reminded of sports teams with the various flags and colors? All of those hints the insiders were dropping about sports make sense now. Of course, this is a game none of us will be winning... BTW... I liked Nightmaze too.
  21. I checked my notes and I was able to buy the Rush of Fear w/Express on July 28 last year. This was before it went live on the site- I used a direct link to purchase it. If those options are made available again, I think we still have a bit of a wait.
  22. Knew that was the Rake before I even clicked your link. Awesome
  23. bids all returning and new scareactors good luck with auditions! I hope they find roles for all of you.

  24. I'll be there October 4, 5, 6 and 7. And like always, I'll have a shirt
