  1. The reason why I'm not hyped is because I really don't have anything to look forward to. They have already released some of the houses. So just a few more on the full reveal. I guess when they do update the website I will be hyped. But for now I don't really care that they haven't released the full house list/scarezones yet.
  2. I miss when they updated the website in early July to the generic website with the filing cabinets. And then added a few things here and there until the full and only reveal. I hate how they do it now. I honestly get less hyped about the event. Anyone else feel this way?
  3. Yeah kinda, It acts as an express pass. But if the line is longer than 30 min then they write a time to come back... So if the line is 45 min and its 8:00, they will write down the time to come back at 8:45. So you still end up waiting the time, but not in the queue. What people normally do is Get a time for a house, and then go wait for another house and then when they are done they will just go back to the original house and use the express line. You can only get the cards at Guest Services but you need a good reason for it, like a medical reason.
  4. Employee Preview tonight :)

  5. Maybe they just had a disagreement with Contracts? Or maybe they wanted to be more widely credited for music at the event? Who knows.
  6. Well I think there is plenty of things to do with season 1. *Spoiler* **Anything with the "gimp" suit. The doctor, the fire, the thing in the attic, the ritual killing group, what happened to Tate... I think the first season will be represented really well.
  7. Off topic to what music might be playing... I'm hoping universal does some sweet march for this zone. I want an awesome shirt! It would be cool to get a Lettermans Jacket for it as well.
  8. I think they could get away with it being "hardcore" voodoo in the house, because it wouldn't be on display for everyone to see. (like in the streets) Because i really couldn't see them shying away from the crazy voodoo scenes in that house. Off Topic: Welcome to 2016 where everyone gets offended! I remember learning in Kindergarten to ignore anything that upset you. What happened to that method? Are they telling kids to now say they are offended and cause a massive scene?
  9. I agree with you 100%. At leat we still have B&T. I will never understand why Hollywood stopped that show.
  10. It was also in Back To The Future which takes place in 1955 so we could still see it.. well hear it.
  11. Let's hope it stays the whole event. Someone always has to ruin everything for everybody else because they got "offended." I don't know why these people can't just look away and ignore it. It didn't physically hurt them so why even complain. Those are the people that don't need to come to the event.
  12. Cool shirts, I'm sure you will confuse a lot of people because they won't find it in stores lol
  13. So I wasn't too thrilled on this announcement... I like the original houses more... But I started watching AHS when this was announced and I know its only on Season's 1, 4 & 5. But I can't just skip seasons even though its an anthology show. So I will be binge watching until HHN. I'm already on Coven and I love seeing the actors from previous seasons in it. It's so much fun. After watching Season 1 and 2. I'm very excited about the house because the show is really good. All through Season 1 I was like, this could be a room, this could be a room etc... I trust the design team will do this show justice!
  14. I have said it before and I will say it again... I really enjoyed Reflections of Fear. You know why? The website. That website was amazing. Every week it was updated with a new story/patient. You watched Dr. Mary Agana transform into Bloody Mary. All through her patient encounters. And thats exactly how the house played out. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat each week waiting to read about the next patient. Yeah ok, the house wasn't that scary, but the story.. The story was amazing. Just so this post in on Topic with Chances house: I'm hoping the story telling is great in this house. Because that will redeem the 3-D factor.
  15. Hmm the height thing is interesting. Either they will take people up to the catwalks in the Sound Stage or it will be an illusion like that have done in previous houses. As far as reviews, I'm sure the first few nights of the attraction will have all the big HHN/Orlando blogs going to it and reviewing it. (HNN, Behind The Thrills, Orlando United) And most likely the local news stations will get to it... But can't really trust the news on it because every year they say that every house is the scariest house ever lol.
  16. For the sake of Universal I surely hope it isn't. At least have multiple tabs... One for Houses, one for Shows, and One for Scareazones. What ever happened to the websites like 2006-2009? I know technology has advanced since then, so why haven't we got grander websites. I miss clicking on the house and having a scary noise and animation go off. Surely if you can do it in 2006, you can do it in 2016. Its like they gave the website details to a bunch of 8th graders for their web design class. Make a little bit of effort and make that website amazing. While writing all this, I think I have figured out why we don't get great websites anymore.... Facebook. It's all this social media. Thats what drives the world now. People used to go to websites to find out information. Now people go to Facebook to find it. Regardless of social media I think Universal should still put some effort into their websites. I'm sure everyone on the forums knows about Horrornights.be But if you don't, go check that website out. They have a couple of the old sites saved that you can go to. Take a look at them. They were amazing.
  17. Yeah express lines are always hit and miss IMO. It seems like some lines you walk right in and others they pulse the line 50/50. I seem to remember waiting quite a long time for Halloween and Insidious. It's always been that tent house lol... But yeah I agree with JDW, get a ROF. You can always upgrade your ticket if you have already purchased it. Even when you're leaving the park you can walk into Guest Services and ask to upgrade! If not I also highly recommend an express pass. I did the event without express from 2006-2013. All with the Frequent Fear so I was fortunate enough to see every house multiple times. But now you need it. Unless you don't mind waiting atleast 45 min for every house. At that point it gets annoying. TL;DR: get a Rush of Fear and/or An express pass. They are 100% worth it.
  18. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they put up a wall in front of it. Because even though it will be dark and most likely very foggy, having that flashy wall would be very off putting.
  19. I honestly don't know how I feel about this house/experience. Reading this ^ makes me feel a lot better about this. I'm not big on 3D and VR stuff, I'm more of a practical effects guy. I'm going to do the experience though to say that I did it. I'm assuming all the news outlets will be taking part in the experience the first night so I'm excited to see reviews for this.
  20. I know I haven't been through the house, hell, nobody has... But reading about the house from the Universal Blog, if you take out the 3D crap, it sounds like an amazing house. I love anything to do with asylums. But i hate 3D houses. I think they are a cliche. Vibrant colors and mind tricks. In my opinion, if you gone through one 3D house, you've been through them all. With all that being said, I don't have high hopes for this house. I'm really hoping this house completely surprises me and I enjoy it. I guess I will find out on opening night.
  21. Watching American Horror Story. On Season 2 now. Hoping to finish the series by Opening night of HHN :)

  22. 1. Vamp 1955 - Love the 1950's 2. Dead Man's Wharf - Hoping this is like Frightanic. 3. Lair of the Banshees - Always like forest sacrezones. 4. Survive or Die - Sounds interesting. 5. A Chance In Hell - Chance is way too hyped.
  23. 1. Ghost Town - Love the idea for this house, and I also love westerns lol. 2. Tomb of the Ancients - Hoping this has something to do with Egypt, Love that stuff. 3. Halloween 2 - Halloween was my favourite house from 2014 4. Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The 2007 house was good so I'm hoping this one will be good. 5. The Exorcist - Love the movie. 6. American Horror Story - Just started watching the show this past weekend and I like it so far. 7. Krampus - Haven't seen the movie but i haven't heard good things. 8. Lunatics Playground 3D - I hate 3D houses.. 9. The Walking Dead - I hate TWD. I think my house rankings will be very much the same.
  24. Same here. I love walking around and seeing the sacredness start to take shape. Which is odd because I hate watching movie trailers lol
