  1. That's my only issue with that location as well. It's so close to what's supposed to be the "quiet and eerie" scarezone that sometimes it starts to leak in. You'd think that they could swing it around the back towards one of the emptier areas. But, I guess they want utilize the heavier foot traffic up there.
  2. Cleopatra was killed by an asp, which is a deadly (venomous) snake. If the one tweet implies a 3-in-one original house, we could see a ship from Forsaken transporting Egyption artifacts! And then add one more twist?
  3. Not sure if it will add up to anything or not, but "The Bride's" real name is Beatrix Kiddo. Do what you will with that info.
  4. Could have fooled me I do not think that word means what you think it means...
  5. You mean, similar to the one seen in Preacher?
  6. Has it been confirmed which codename was used for this house in Orlando? I don't remember seeing it anywhere.
  7. What? You don't consider "sometime in the next few weeks" real, real soon?
  8. Alright. I'll play, and it's a slow day at work. Here's how I see all the "riddle" tweets matching up with the Excel sheet: 1/19 Tweet 1: Reintroduction to the world Tweets 2-10 (Blacked out cells): Starts with pining for info, references the "Hollywood List". Continues with a caution about what to believe due to rights issues, then finishes saying that everything might be OK. Basically referencing the Shining/King rumors. Tweet 11 (Light blue): Introduction to clues Tweets 12-16 (Dark Blue): These are the "beyond cinematic dreams" and "sister" clues. A lot of "duality" references here (two, twice, bones, stones). Probably pointing to the original mash-up house rumored to be Gothic/Catacombs. Tweet 17-18: Clarifying that the "she"/"sister" referenced in the clues is probably a place not a person. Probably referring to Carey or Carae. Also says "Stoke by the past", and "flames burn brightest when the tinder's dry". Lends further weight to a throwback house. Possibly the Orfanage in Carey, or the Cathedral from Gothic after they've caught on fire. Tweet 19 (Dark Blue): The screenshot we received yesterday. Referencing back to the main clue section. So, basically it sounds like what we really received was Shining speculation in "riddle" form (that we already had), and hints towards the rumored mash-up/throwback house being some combination of two that took place in either Carey Ohio and/or Carae France.
  9. There was also a Stab poster in the Krampus attic. Also a Legendary Truth reference in Tomb along with a "Prince symbol" in one of the Egyption rooms.
  10. I could see two in the parade building as a potential solution to some of the space issues. I do question how tight it will be to fit them in there though. I know the houses in there the last two years were pretty spacious (Walking Dead and Halloween 2). Maybe they learned a few things from Tomb last year, and they can fit two claustrophobic type houses in one area.
  11. You can actually see Jake standing outside the ruins of Pennywise's circus as well. You have to pause it, but it's there. Edit: Found a pic.
  12. 100% agreed. When I read it yesterday, that's the part that gave me pause thinking it might be a fake leak. It's wayyy too hacky stage magician for my tastes, and doesn't go along with their normal copy style.
  13. I refuse to believe it unless you give us your social security, mother's maiden name, and the street you grew up on.
  14. Any indication if we're getting eight or nine houses this year? With the fact that ORL is pretty tight on space with construction, I wouldn't be surprised with a drop in count. Plus, if that list is correct, we only have 5 shared properties unless we get at least one exclusive. Add in three originals, and that's only 8 this year.
  15. Chance was teased on June 8th, and officially revealed on June 9th. Soooo...still a little over a month before we're "late" compared to last year.
  16. Well...there is an American Susperia remake in production (gross, I know). So, probably not this year, but who knows in the future?
  17. I kind of hate the series. The narrative ends up being too long and loses it's way about 6 episodes in. That being said, I thought that the house was fantastic. As stated above it focused on staying true to the visuals, and that's really the show's strongest element. Great production design. I was also impressed how they implemented look-a-likes and actual dialogue from the show.
  18. The few I can remember off the top of my head are: -Halloween: "Captain" -Halloween 2: "Pumpkin" -Lunatics' Asylum: "ABBA" -Tomb of the Ancients: "Cobweb" -Freddy vs Jason: "Round 2" -Run: Blood, Sweat, and Fears: "Spandex"
  19. Looks like all ticket options were released around June 9th last year.
  20. ...and cue him shitting all over AWiL and Halloween in 3.....2.....1....
  21. You forgot one of my favorites...The Mist...was also a short story. I'm really frightened of The Dark Tower as well, but it sounds like it's actually supposed to be sort of a sequel. The movie coming out this year is also intended to start a new franchise (if it's successful), and might even be followed by a "Young Roland" type TV series.
  22. So, this is going to be a thing. With all the talk about King mash-ups, I thought it sounded familiar.
  23. I've seen some mention of "Charles" being The Shining. Now that's a real long-shot in my opinion, but it would fit with him being surprised they got the property. I think the famous elevator gushing blood scene would fit with an iconic scene that would be difficult to duplicate.
