I agree. Houses have gone up, but almost everything else has suffered. Which is a bummer for those of us who only do the houses a couple of times and then spend our evenings in the streets rather than facing long lines night after night.

Walking Dead and P&T

Yeah. My plan for the night was to take pictures in zones all night. Sat around in the rain until it slowed down around 8. Rode rides and did a couple houses until 10. Gave up and went home.

I'll be spending the majority of tomorrow and Friday night in the streets taking pictures if anyone wants to meet up and shoot together, or just talk about the event and/or photography.

Duh, everyone knows it's big lenses that make you a pro. Next weekend I'm bringing my 1200-1700mm f/5.6~8.0s to get way better shots than all of you fools On a serious note, I understand they don't want people taking pictures of the construction. But singling out the people with the DSLRs is bullshit. If anything, we're probably more well behaved than some punk with a point and shoot who wants to show all of his bros the super awesome construction site that he "snuck into."

It's not just how many express passes they sell though. The people that control the flow at the front of the queue have to keep a specific ratio of normal guests to express guests depending on the wait time of the normal line. Since the normal queues are so much longer this year, the express queue is suffering as well. Source: I'm an ex-attractions attendant. We did the same thing when loading ride vehicles.

I take my pictures on the sidelines as they're working. Occasionally when they're walking around I'll kind of gesture at my camera and they'll strike a pose and I'll take a shot, nod thank you, and walk away. Takes like 5 seconds maximum. But yeah, people posing WITH scareactors, I would be fine if they got rid of it completely.
