  1. Well, I don’t think anyone complained that I knew of, they just backed out anyways.
  2. Most millennials had the chance to see it since that actualy describes anyone all the way back to the 80s. But people like me from the currently not decided on name generation afterwords would love to see the caretaker. and sorry if Norse mythology got people excited, it was just a random idea.
  3. off topic because i can’t keep up with these clues and riddles. I started playing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. I know when video games come again it will be a much bigger property; but Hellblade is incredibly terrifying and has some unique imagery we havnt seen in a house before, even if not based off of the game. I think a norse mythology house could be incredibly terrifying and disturbing.
  4. I didn’t know A&D ever really defined the term icon. And Cindy totally meets them all, I forgot she got a house in 2010(in my defense my first year was 25)
  5. On the topic of eyegore, I would say to be an icon a character has to 1. have their own scarezone or house(excludes eyegore) 2. be present in marketing 3. be a named character(excludes bone) 4. be original to me this means that eddie counts, cindy does not, and terra queen is iffy.
  6. icon(which i’ve already accepted we arnt getting) if it’s more big name things like it or nightmare on elm street then eddie makes sense. but if they go more of a Lost Boys route then i could see HR Bloodengutz hosting/ also what is Eyegore?
  7. second icon and only icon who is a father is the caretaker
  8. Friday the 13th to me is way way worse then the other Titans of terror.
  9. Please no sleep away camp, its just Friday the 13th but worse, and with a vaguely transphobic ending
  10. they should save money by doing parody houses shortly after big houses to re use sets and such. Like Dawn of the Dead this year, shaun of the dead next year.
  11. agreed, i am 100% planning on buying every shirt if i can go with frequent fear
  12. thing would be neat but i’m fine without it. I know i’ll get to see it one day. whatever universal does will be awesome as long as they let me buy a frequent fear pass to see it. please bring bioshock tho
  13. I think that if this year really is 80s themed, A Run Scare zone would work awesomely. You could use real chainsaws since it would be outside, use the marquee lighting and a couple chainlink fence props. It would work really well in Hollywood.
  14. Cool, anyone heard the idea of no more frequent fear passes?
  15. The amount of scarecrow in that promo I saw almost suspicious, I know it was the must popular but I would expect footage of at least dead waters and someone flying from the Fallen. Also very surprised that that promo had clips from the ip houses in there, since it was such a short promo.
  16. So we have confirmed 100% 5 zones at least 6 houses total: at least 2 ip movies at least 2 ip tv shows at least 2 originals
  17. If budget was much of an issue, would it be possible to just not replace bill and ted. So use that one show's budget elsewhere?
  18. Not going to lie, I really didn't care for silence of the lambs, it felt completely boring whenever Bill or Hannibal weren't on screen.
  19. In two posts Legacy makes me more excited then HHN27s entire marketing campaign.
  20. Because 11 years is a long enough time to bring back one of the greatest movies ever made.
  21. Hollywood twitter posted three hints today, if it's as IP heavy as we think it's worth looking into for us as it's probably shared.
  22. Everyone is panicking because for some reason they think it will be 8/1 ip to original split. I don't understand why they think this. current IPs The Thing Stranger Things It Nightmare on Elm Street Classic Monsters Halloween(blumhouse) AHS Five nights at Freddy's (maybe) and I think I'm missing one. originals all we have is a faint space station rumor.
  23. All ip year would be really terrible to me. Even though I at least like, if not love every IP rumored, I like not knowing exactly what I'll see. I also feel that it's unsistainable, they will have to start doing much more frequent repeats, or hopefully start really reaching for cool cult things. Like seriously, if every rumor For IPs comes true this year, what's left for next year, and the year after that? If we have to go for more IPs I hope it's more semi original takes on it like in AVP. This current format of exactly mimicking the film, while it works great for classics, it has the downside of meaning if I watch the film to prepare, then none of the imagery or effects will surprise me. Also, I took semi-original to just mean that it's a sequel, possibly interstellar terror 2.
  24. So, I'm just being fun with Bioshock, it's my personaly dream house, and it is far more revelvent then you would think. Maybe not known outside gaming, but certainly in it. While not currently being developed, 2K, who owns several big franchises such as GTA and borderlands is who owns it and could potentially make the deal. I do think video games have more potential. In the near future possibly five nights at Freddy's (by way of blumhouse). I could even see them taking another shot at Resident Evil if a sequel is made in a similar style to 7 as that game was fantastic and gave off very good HHN possibility vibes. The Shining was there, if they cared about verbal abuse, they certainly would not have brought a Kubrick centered Shining. Kubrick was absolutely terrible to everyone, but especially Shelly Duvall.
