  1. I LOVE Scream-a-geddon. Scared the SHIT out of me! I definitely recommend!
  2. Maybe I'm dumb or I don't understand something but I don't get the meaning of this post.
  3. It's reasonable to believe the show is just retiring because they will be getting rid of FFL stage. Nintendo land is going to be built well into the backstage areas of kid-zone/parade building area. They built a new parade float building further back so they can raze the original parade float building after HHN so they can break ground on Nintendo land. There are also several office buildings in that area. It also looks like Nintendo land might take up the space currently occupied by the sprung tents. Theres plenty of space back there for queues and to build a new parade float style building or place new sprung tents. Hell you might even speculate having the new Tent 3 behind MIB was a good test run for the location. I think that would partially solve the of where the houses are going to go in the coming years. That may also explain why they aren't just moving to the animal actors stage because that's allegedly getting razed too. I speculate that FFL is getting torn down to accommodate more office buildings/new sprung tents, and if they want to do another show in the future they can use a soundstage or something.
  4. Sneak into the Scareactors green room and you can see that happen
  5. I am an entertainment coordinator for the event and I don't even know all the houses yet, and I have a pretty hefty non-disclosure agreement. They're really keeping it under wraps. I do although know I'm going to be in NY as well so I'll be working with your new friend.
  6. I'm gonna have to say that's definitely a dried up corn cob right here, not a wing. https://imgur.com/gallery/1eueW
  7. Why is no one discussing the pics though... The alleged Bayou totally reminds me of Legends of the Hidden Temple or something.
  8. If we know all the houses, why are we all complaining? Technically Universal doesn't owe us anything until the end of the month. At this point I just feel like everyone is whining.
  9. Everything will be fine this year. Just because they're waiting a little longer to announce things doesn't mean it's going to be a half ass event. Everything is built, I'm sure the streets have been built as well they're just sitting in the warehouse somewhere probably. Stop worrying about the event it's not going to be any different this year from other years.
  10. Go ahead and take anything you hear about the event that's not official knowledge with a grain of salt. Everyone likes to act like they know some big insider secret but it's simply not true. They have no reason to tell anyone in the parks about the event until it's announced to the GP.
  11. I can tell you that this is definitely not true. Not even the SMs for the event know anything other than the 3 houses that have been announced, let alone anyone lower on the totem pole, and they all have big non-disclosure agreements. They're keeping it tight under wraps even for us. I highly doubt even marketing knows exactly what's going on until they get a briefing. The only people who probably knows what's going on is the show directors and the techs that are building the houses.
  12. Let's not forget one of my favorite horror movies of all time - It Follows with a solid 97% on RT.
  13. IOA uses Universal for Grinchmas, why couldn't a similar concept be hypothetically used for HHN?
  14. Pretty sure it was in Insidious
  15. I finally got around to watching Krampus last night. The movie basically just watched like an HHN house. And I must admit that movie had some of the creepiest looking creatures I've ever seen in a movie. I'd flip if I had to walk by a puppet of that jack in the box snake thing. Imagine a dark foggy room for the blizzard, the krampus chain noises and spinning yellow snow plow light for atmosphere... Regardless of it's relevance, I think it would be a perfect fit at HHN, especially as the "humor" kind of house like Giggles and Gore and This is the End, and especially since people love holiday houses so much (H.R. Bloodengutz, and Santa's return in M&M). Also, since HHN is so close to election day in November, and the Purge has generally been so well received in the past years, I can definitely see Purge Election Year being a part of the event, if not a big part. Maybe a house with the "story" part and a scarezone out front with the purgers.
  16. Why not a Military leader? A crazed General or something that has a brainwashed squad of crazy soldiers? A possible Havoc tie in? I have no idea the backstory of those houses. Just an idea.
  17. To add to this, I have it on good authority that all (or most) of the icons were supposed to be in the house in the beginning. Then they went through and said there's not enough Jacks so they changed all (most) of the icons to Jack.
  18. I'd have to see the saw one for myself, but as far as I'm aware and have been told, there are no GAT's this year. Too many people messing around with props they shouldn't and they end up breaking so I've been told. But I can say for sure that there are no GAT's in M&M.
  19. There are no GAT's this year. I work in Monsters and Mayhem as I have previously said. Please know that you aren't doing anything when you walk around pulling on all the ropes. The air and water was probably either in the Nightingale room or by the Phantom of the Opera, which is triggered by the actors.
  20. Has anyone seen the pictures with Jack holding cards with pictures of people like Freddy and Jason on them? I feel like it will have something to do with that. Tarot cards with pictures of icons and IP characters. It would fit with the whole circus theme too.
