  1. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident I still think this real event is HHN house fuel.
  2. I know speculation at this point is more like shots in the dark but what does even think is more likely, TWD #5 or no TWD at 26? I'm leaning towards it being done, it didn't get as much love from A&D last year as End of the Line did. I think even HHN staff is over it.
  3. Does King own the rights to the Kubrick verison? That's the one I'd prefer. Also to me Universal Monsters are timeless, I will always rememeber watching the classics with my grandfather when I was about 8 and falling in love with horror. I know they have been done a lot but for my own need for nostalgia I want them to be back. I got very excited for the rumors about it last year, I was sad that it didn't happen.
  4. I would like to see this line up: The Shining Alfred Hitchcock Presents (a collection of his best movie moments) The Conjuring (since it seems like everyone expects it.) Nightingales sequel Catacombs sequel Universal Monsters Urban Legends 3 new orginals
  5. http://orlandounited.com/2015/11/halloween-horror-nights-26-dates-revealed/ Well I guess horror has no offseason, maybe 2016 will be the year I finally get to see a Shining house!
  6. My favorite house changes some many times a year, but quality wise... Best House: Halloween Worst: Resident Evil (everything in that house looked so cheap!)
  7. AWIL: 4 Asylum: 1 Body Collectors: 6 FVJ: 5 Run: 3 Purge: 4 TWD: 3 M&M: 7 Insidious: 7 Bill and Ted: 1 Carnage: 1 Nights: 4
  8. I went last night for what would be the final time this year, it was very bittersweet. I did all the houses then did my favorites; M&M, Insidious, BC, and FVJ twice. I ended my HHN season with Monsters and Mayhem because I thought that would give the best send off. If you are interested in a person on the internet you don't know's opinion (I know you all are). Here are my final rankings: HOUSES M&M: 10/10 AWIL: 10/10 Insidious: 10/10 FVJ: 9/10 Body Collectors: 8/10 Purge: 6/10 Run: 4/10 Walking Dead: 3/10 Asylum: 2/10 SCARE ZONES: Psychoscareapy: 8/10 Evil's Roots: 7/10 Icons: 7/10 Die In: 6/10 Scary Tales: 3/10 SHOWS: Bill and Ted: 6/10 Carnage: 4/10 EVENT OVERALL: 7/10 All in all I had a lot of fun this year and it was a solid event minus a few blunders in my opinion, but just leaves room for more greatness in the future. I'm already craving rumors for 2016!
  9. First time going this year? Thursday will be my fourth and final time going this year, I'm both super excited and bummed that it's going to be over for me after this trip. I guess it's almost time to look towards HHN26.
  10. I definitely see the point you are making, I also don't want to see the event dragged through the mud. I know there are so many factors that are beyond anyone's control, like human stupidity, I just wish people wouldn't try to ruin shit for other people. I see it more and more now at any theme park or any event, blatant disregard for cast memebers and other guest. I hate that "vacation mindset" makes people feel like they are the center of the world.
  11. http://behindthethrills.com/2015/10/is-halloween-horror-nights-safe-an-open-letter-to-scareactors-and-fans/ I dont know if this has been shared yet but I feel so bad for the actors. I am probably one of HHN's biggest fans, and I also enjoy alcohol (safely) as much as the next person but I think it's either time for it to go or to put a drink limit into effect. I've been going at least four times a year for the past 5 years, I'm still a noob, and at least once a year I see a drunk idiot "tough guy" try to fight someone who has scared him. I hate that the event is a bravery pissing contest for some people, because for me and my group of friends I traditionally go with its about being in movie quality sets and getting a fun scare. I also think they should cut down on the amount of people they let in the event.
  12. So I've gone to HHN twice so far and have really enjoyed it, then I heard about the UMTH Tours. It's really Body Collectors, RUN, FVJ for the morning and TWD, Asylum, M&M in the afternoon? Can anyone confirm this 100%? I don't normally complain but I think half the houses on the tour are not even worth seeing, and of course they split them up so to see the ones I would want to see I'd have to buy both tours. I did the tour for the first time last year and loved it, but I may skip it this year if that is the true line up.
  13. Yesterday was a lot better as well, also Insidious step it's game that house was damn near perfect both times I went through it last night.
  14. Putting my ratings of the houses in a spoiler tag, I don't want to give people who haven't been yet any preconceived notions. But after letting the houses soak in for two days:
  15. I'm right there with you, I really enjoyed the event it wasn't perfect but it was also opening night I think everything will get better. I guess you and I are just "Fanbois" who are ruining everything because we had a good time.
  16. I was able to hit all the houses with no express pass, it took me and my group from 6 to 12:20. Run has a queue video!
  17. Hey! Not to be super creepy but I'm pretty sure my fiancee and I were in your tour group last year haha. And UTH is worth every penny last year was my first time doing it, I'll be doing a tour every year from now on.
  18. I hope so, it such a blow to horror to lose him.
  19. Well as much as I hate to agree with a Rangers fan (Go Bolts! ;P) you explained my feelings completely, and I wish I could like this eight more times! I'll still have a great time at HHN and I can't wait for it, I guess I'm a sheep though.
  20. I definitely see what you mean about the cast with G&G but I personally think Dracula Untold takes the worst house for 2014.
  21. Anyone else really hope they have traditional trick or treaters at the fake door ways in NYC?
  22. I don't know about you guys but the more I see being put into the Evil's Roots area the more that jumps up in line for my most anticipated zone. They should have used this zone in 2013 since the slogan was "What Walking Dead has taken root?" Wait... I may have gotten that wrong.
  23. From what I saw in the Disaster prop lot the entrance seems to be switched from pervious years, it also looks like the house may start outside in a fenced area. I'm going off what I saw over the backside of a skrim, so take my observation with the biggest grain of salt you can find.
  24. Have the chainsaw hoards in the dead spots of the park been confirmed, or is speculation? Because I'm really open they do the dead patch last year was kind of a drag.
