  1. I have heard this rumor as well, one source works at the hotels. Last year we stayed at the Royal Pacific and there were lots of unhappy guests who went to the event and couldn't use their keys as Express passes and immediately went to complain at guest services. Hopefully all of the complaining helped because we are staying at the same hotel again this year and I would love it if the express passes are cheaper for hotel guests!
  2. Any annual passholders want to help me get a 4 tickets for Saturday the 9th? I see they have it on sale for 39!! (Yes I know its wrong but we are driving from Atlanta and any way to get cheaper tickets is very helpful). One of these years they will extend the discount to Georgia residents.
  3. BETTY WHITE!! How could I forget Betty. Love this lineup and completely agree with Dr. Jimmy!!
  4. This is awesome!! Thanks for the mention
  5. It’s as if someone went into our heads while we are sleeping and planted the idea that INCEPTION is a visionary masterpiece and—hold on … Whoa! I think I get it.

  6. Hey there! Love Huntington Beach :) Welcome to the forum! See you around ----Michelle

  7. let the decor construction begin!

  8. BHAHAHAHA, that made me spit my drink out. I would love to know the amount of members on this site who are not of legal age to drink, therefore would vote "NO" in the poll.
  9. Oh wow the memories!! My first year going to HHN was in 94 (I was 13) so I have no photos of that. Brooke's photos from 2002 brings back such memories as I was a SA then and to answer Skittles, YES THERE WAS LOTS OF SLIPPING!! Don't think they will ever bring back the foam and bubbles due to safety issues but it was such a good time!!
  10. Hey I saw a photo of you on a thread of you wearing a captain spaulding shirt that is soooo cute. Did you make it yourself or buy it from somewhere? Either way I love your style (and name) :)

  11. I agree with CD, make sure to invest in the UTH tour (Unmasking the Horror) I took my first one last year and it was such an amazing experience as the guides really go into detail about the house and its history. Not sure which weekend you are going but I will tell you the earlier the better. My other half and I drive down to FL every year and we can only go on Sat. night. We always go either the first or second weekend in Oct and as long as you have the Express Passes then you will be able to enjoy all the shows/houses easily and might even have enough time to go through houses multiple times. Hope to see you there in Oct~
  12. You would be correct on that. It was called "Immortal Island". Here is proof we have seen the Ice Queen before (although Dr. Jimmy's speculation is what I would love to see lol) Please note that the "Rat Lady" was wheeled around this sz in 2003.
  13. Thanks Ben!! I'm an avid concert goer so I get a lot of practice
  14. Some of my favorites... Paramore show in Boston Lady Gaga in Atlanta Muse in Nashville
  15. So excited for everyone that is cast so far! I look forward to being scared by you all come October
  16. It appears as if there is a window cut into the wood in the background. Maybe a "taste" for what is going on in that van given earlier in the house??
  17. Congrats on being cast again. I look forward to finally meeting you this year :)

  18. It is an unfortunate event when people cannot handle their drinks. Those such as Lyn (Hush), Oysterhead and myself all have the same opinion. I live in Georgia, so my trip to HHN every year is sometimes my only trip of the year and it includes buying the specialty shot or drink they offer plus a few souvenir shot glasses to take home to enjoy! It truly stinks that the only memories some have of the event is the first beverage they enjoy at City Walk. Alcohol is an addictive substance that MANY do not know how to handle. I'm almost 30 and learned my limit years ago and seriously ladies lets face it alcohol is not the nicest look for our photo ops! Plus, I actually like to enjoy my memories of the houses, scarezones and best THE SCAREACTORS! I find that most tourists do not respect themselves or the scareactors in that they have to be so drunk to walk into the houses that is causes problems. I hear it every year at the first bar we go to, there is always a male/female buying a drink and stating "I need some liquid courage to go in there" I can't tell you the amount of times when I was working when there wasn't some sort of drunk man/woman who made as a$$ of themselves because they were wasted. Although it did give us and the security guys some laughs, there were more times than not that my step dad (who was a paramedic at the time) had to make a stop near our Ship of Screams to help someone that had way too much to drink. I look forward to having a drink with any dreamers out there who wish to enjoy a beverage with me in Oct! No we don't have to have the alcohol to have fun but boy oh boy does it usually give some great funny laughs during the event!
  19. LOL, thats a good one Jimmy Or make light of the 8 hours some people waited in line I hate to mention this but surprised no one mentioned Kate Gosslin and the Dancing With the Stars fiasco and her botox craziness. And I have to add that if Lindsay Lohan going to jail is anywhere involved, I just might scream! Something that would be hilarious is if they make fun of all the use of "auto-tune" in music these days. I could write scripts for days on some of the hilarious things I have encountered in the studio with people thinking it makes them sound better. Plus didn't Jay Z have a song in there about auto tune?? And not to mention since everyone is so Gaga these days, you could have her or "him" (to make fun) come out and do a Telephone number with Beyonce (never hurts to include Beyonce right?) or even beat up Ke$sha for having no talent and trying to steal her identity! And yes the mentioning of Lost could be funny if done right, however, I highly doubt it will be included. And why hasn't Dexter, Nurse Jackie, or Tara from US of Tara ever been included (are there rights that are needed to "poke" at them). Because c'mon messed up, drunk/drugged up Jackie hitting on Buck would have me laughing for days! Nemes that might be brought up. Russell Brand. Eminem. Twilight. Mel Gibson. Jesse James. Jersey Shore. One of these years I would die laughing if they poked at this site and "older ones"...maybe even have an uber fan come out wearing the vault shirt with a funny line about the "death of the vault" (even though it isn't funny. RIP)
  20. Considering that we know nothing about Carey, OH other than it is the hometown of one of the main execs to HHN and that certain houses were based in that town. Does it really matter if it takes place in Carey or not???
  21. My bf and I attended last year, purchasing the "Gory Getaway" package and staying at Royal Pacific. However, I don't recall there being restrictions on the days you could attend HHN (the package includes a ticket to HHN). I'm a bit confused as to why they are restricting attendance to the same nights as FFP. Any one know if they will allow to attend on a Saturday if you still purchase this package? (Just checking here first before I spend a 1/2hour on the phone explaining this to a CSR at USF). Thanks
  22. What's up Danny! Been a long time! How are things with you??? Still playing Otis?

  23. Thanks so much Jeramy! You rock my friend
  24. Has anyone made a desktop image of the lantern photo? I would love to have one but unfortunately do not possess the talent to make one. Thanks
