  1. Yesterday the HHN FB showed photos from 2006, Screamhouse and discussed the Caretaker Today they update their status with a photo from 2007 and it states "Then, in 2007… You stepped through the door of 1428 Elm Street, and found yourself terrifyingly face-to-face with... him. Reliving your most vicious nightmares all while trapped in a walking dream state… does his face still haunt you? 2007: A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dreamwalkers" Anyone else think we'll have a website update in 4 days? Or am I just reading into this a little too much
  2. Awesome wallpapers to choose from! Such talented members we have
  3. So disappointed in my cable/internet company. Just saw the email and it appears there are no times left for the 12th Doesn't look promising for me...
  4. The whole literary reference of Mark Twain got me thinking. So I began to search other of his novels and short stories to see if there was a reference to a specific real life situation in which we could gather information from. I found the "Ghost Story" by Mark Twain which is an "encounter" he penned. His experience for all to read and enjoy. This is just how I interpreted it, as I'm sure, many others will have a vast amount of knowledge to prove me wrong or to say that this does not correlate to the postings of Emeric. I also could be overanalyzing. Either way, I found it interesting and left it here to share with anyone else who might be interested. "A ghost story" by Mark Twain I found these quotes to me most intriguing: "In the ashes on the hearth, side by side with my own bare footprint, was another, so vast that in comparison mine was but an infant's'!" (Reference to the rebirth?) "I sat there, thinking of bygone times; recalling old scenes, and summoning half-forgotten faces out of the mists of the past; listening, in fancy, to voices that long ago grew silent for all time" --I know this is a beginning to the New era of Darkness, interesting how we keep recalling the past characters/icons of the past and wishing for them to return, including incredible Plague Doctors and Dogs of War. Could another ghost house be possible? And not one of those based on people conducting studies and experiments to see if paranormal activity exists but rather yet, instead of a team of paranormal seekers (The LT) they could have a prequel house to what happened BEFORE the LT was involved?
  5. Wow, interesting. Well atleast it's worth a shot right? Anyone have an idea when auditions will be so I can plan accordingly?
  6. So I haven't work the event since 2003 and am really curious about re auditioning again this year and actually moving to Orlando to stay for the end of September and all of October. I know it might sound crazy but I really think life is too short and I've been wanting to do this for the last few years and since I was just laid off from my job, this seems to be the perfect opportunity. Just hoping I will find a place to crash for the month and not have to live out of a hotel room. I imagine the auditioning process hasn't changed too much in 8 years but I'm sure I would have to audition again with the open casting as opposed to the reunion (if I am wrong, please correct me). Any advice for this veteran SA??
  7. So thankful for all of your kind thoughts and words as Travis and I deal with the passing of his father. Thank you HNN for all of your support.

I just bought some items from HHNCOLLECTIVE on ebay and didn't experience that (although, I was watching the buttons so I'm glad for you I didn't target them more ) I'm also looking for posters, especially the large posters from 2003 and 2005 (the years I worked the event). If you could ask Tommy if he has ANY large posters, I would be so grateful! Thanks!

  20. How is it no one has put up any Halloween decoration photos?!??

  21. Happy Birthday!! Don't drink too much on this big day :)

  22. Were you working this past Saturday?? If so, it was me that was like "BEN!!" when I literally ran into you at your house.

  23. You have said it best and I agree with you. I was pleasant and asked nicely. There were only two in our party and only four people behind us. I'm over it, just confused why he was so rude to me = ranting on a website with a rant thread. That is all. Shall we move on now??
  24. I guess I didn't thoroughly re read my post. My rant was not that I wasn't allowed to see the house a second time but in how I was treated by the greeter and the supervisor for asking to see the house twice. Talking to me like I was scum of the earth was not warranted by my tone or actions. I wasn't rude and I wasn't a stumbling drunk with an attitude. A pleasant "no" would have worked just fine and I would have been on my way without any disappointment. I realize people on here feel that my rant is "silly" however, when you spend so much money to attend the event, having employees of the park talk at me like I'm scum was absolutely ridiculous.
  25. You catch up with them because OPS pushes you through when you are trying to keep a normal pace. Hate to disappoint but my profession isn't speed walking.
