  1. Slightly unrelated, but what'd you win at CEO? I'm mad that I couldn't go this year, even though I was in Orlando at the time
  2. It would actually be pretty cool to post pics of what everyone looks like and is wearing the day they go before the event starts, especially if any meet-ups are gonna happen! I'll make sure I do the same, so if anyone spots me herding my group every which way, feel free to hit me up on the 2nd!
  3. When the entrance through Seuss was open, it felt like early entry because you didn't have to stand in the line to get in with the big crowd I expect the Hogwarts Express to feel the same way, if you can still ride it over. I highly recommend doing that if it is at all possible!
  4. Great review! Kinda sad that the Asylum 3d isn't the best for scares, but it's still good to know. Will you update this when you go into new houses?
  5. You have a good point there. It may be a bit much for newcomers. I do hope that any comments about the gore are not negative, and are more of just surprise than anything else. However, their fix you suggested would be pretty hilarious, so I do hope that if anything happens to it the main thing still is there!
  6. Me too. I feel like this show is too important to them to give up, and they might finally show some backbone. But hey, all we can do is wait and see what happens next
  7. People complain about the gore? Then why are they even AT hhn in the first place?
  8. One thing I keep hearing is that FvJ has by FAR the longest wait times, and has been that way throughout the whole event. Except for the 900 minute TWD wait
  9. Any reason as to why Chucky is on the Horror Alumni shirt with the Icons of hhn? I mean, I'm not complaining, he just seems a bit out of place
  10. I'll be going on the 2nd only, so pardon me if I'm less in a meet-up mode and more in a "I GOTTA GO HERE THEN THERE AND THIS WAY RIGHT NOW" mood However, I will base my plan of attack based on what others here have tried, and if others here do that too, then I may very well run into someone!

    Insidious

Hoping Tiptoe Through the Tulips ISN'T played in this one... Kinda ruined a suspenseful moment in 1 by making me giggle, and I'm sure the SAs would go insane if they had to listen to that on loop. Maybe as a queue song, but I want this house to be as creepy as possible
  12. For those who are going, could you share your experiences? It would be nice to know what the lines for the houses were like, and what the houses themselves were like! The anticipation is killing me!
  13. OMG IF THAT THIRD ONE COMES TRUE THIS WILL BE MY FAVE HOUSE THIS YEAR PLEASE LET IT BE REAL
  14. Only going on the 2nd, but hey, that gives me time to plan out my plan of attack! I am looking forward to seeing how the first two weeks go. Make sure to post a suggested plan of attack based on wait times this year!

  15. >tfw TWD has 0 votes... not that that's a surprise Ok so to start things off, my #1 is not what I voted for, since it just recently climbed up there... oops! 1. Insidious (Just saw the movie, and it actually scared me for once! And it's supposed to be frightening from house design alone? ALL MY YES) 2. Alice 3d (I love 3d houses and Alice, so this was my #1 until Insidious happened) 3. M&M (Gothic. 'nuff said) 4. Body Collectors (idk anything about BC or shadybrook asylum, but apparently it's great hhn history, so I'm down. Plus, loving that winter theme) 5. FvJ (Neither franchise spooked me, but hey, they were cool. I'm expecting cool effects on Freddy's behalf) 6. AWiL (Been there, done that, BUT I still enjoyed it then, and will now!) 7. Purge (Wasn't a fan of the SZs from '13 and'14, but last year's slasher house scared the shit out of me, so this should be interesting.) 8. Run (Seems cool, but not scary) 9. TWD (Cool-sounding effects planned, but it's still walkers. I'm still excited for it, don't get me wrong, but the others are cooler) Scare Zones 1. Scary Tales (YES to the fairy tales, meh to the steampunk. But still, YES) 2. Evil's Roots (As a fantasy nerd, this is pretty intriguing... idk how they'll make it scary, but I have faith) 3. Psychoscarepy (Gory, huh? Can't wait!) 4. All Night Die In (Seems gimmicky, but we'll see) 5. Icons (Gimmicky and not a fan of the showy SZs. Also, I never got to be a part of any of the icons as a relative newcomer. Sorry :T)
  16. Well, the 9th house serves as more than just a gimmick. 1. Having one more house takes the congestion out of lines considerably, which will be needed this year 2. How does it make the lineup worse? At worst you can pretend there's only 8 houses this year and nothing's changed 3. Yeah, it is cheaper, although it still isn't cheap. The puppets are gonna cost a ton
  17. Which date should be better crowd-wise; opening night (18th), or October 16th?

      foREVer56

Opening night, for sure. A Friday that late in October is going to be insanely packed. Opening night will be packed, but nothing should get over 75-90min, apposed to 120+ waits that Friday.

  18. Okay so I know the second week is usually a very quiet one insofar as how crowded it is. Will the third week be okay too, or does it get to be super crowded because it is October? We are going to be there on the 2nd. I wanna know if I should convince the others to save some money for an express pass, or if we can hit, say, four or five houses then, along with the B&T show.
  19. Video, huh? I can see video being used pretty creatively in the NoES part, as some of the things that Freddy does might lean a bit on the unrealistic side...
  20. Nobody in Piccadilly? But, the only scare a member in my group got in 2013 WAS a guy in Piccadilly... Well, that aside, I'll ask the REAL question: is the TARDIS coming into this house again?
  21. While I kinda doubt we will be seeing the bridge scene from Gothic, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a flying gargoyle thrown into the mix of a couple other ones here and there. After all, that's the other thing that people went crazy over in the house, and I would assume it would be easier to recreate.
  22. I've always enjoyed the 3d houses myself, even if they're not scary. They're like funhouses, and are a great break from the action, although I guess B&T does the same thing. Even if this house won't be too scary, I'd be down.
  23. In all honesty, the only thing that stops it from happening is Comcast's end. They wouldn't want it bc it's not very popular, but Nintendo would do anything for any extra publicity. Remember, Playboy
