  1. I wouldn't mind a 3D house. Just not the clown theme. 3D houses need to be done right like The In-Between or Penn & Teller. Afterlife was just eh. They need to do it right or just not bother. I still say they should make the walking dead 3D but that's not going to happen. This brings up another topic that hasn't really been discussed on here. For people who still care about the walking dead, how are they going to "expand" that franchise in the event? They've literally done everything that wouldn't be an obvious gimmick to draw in guest. Thoughts?
  2. Hold on a second. You think flashing the most loved Icon in HHN would be a clue for an icon that never happened officially and most of the GP have no clue who he is? Logic.
  3. That's a good idea. Don't mind me then xD
  4. Happy Tuesday the 13th...that's a thing right?

  5. Why not do one a week.? That way you're still drawing, but yet you aren't rushing them out. Then if that isn't enough, do a small doodle to get your fix
  6. I have a feeling that all the icons will be in a scarezone and that's that for all the lesser known/loved Icons. Just like HHN 20. They might all be shoved into a house as well now that we have a presumed 9th house but nothing much after that. Jack might get a funhouse or just be part of the icon house.
  7. That's a great drawing. You are a pretty amazing artist if I do say so myself. Its funny to imagine that's what happened between the first and second movie
  8. You are not alone on this, for sure. I loved H.R. Bloodengutz and would love to see this again. It would be tough to do without just recreating the same maze. I want it to be done but if it will just be the same house then I rather they not.
  9. Exactly the point of this thread. We can only think and discuss at this point. And I completely agree with you, things have been crazy the past couple of years. I'm just trying to think logically about all of this. If this is a celebration of 24 years of HHN, lasts years houses would be the farthest away from my mind honestly. The only ones I can see coming back are the walking dead (a given until the hype dies down) and Halloween.
  10. This could go either way. If they are still making money keeping it exclusive then they will keep it closed again this year. If there aren't many companies looking to do that, then I can see them having it open a limited number of nights. And the ride will definitely be opened very minimally. One days it's open, it will probably have to close early for maintenance. I'm not sure if it will be ready to run all night quite yet. Transformers is still having problems so I have little hope that.
  11. HHN will not due a best of year and take a house from last year. Unless they construct 24 houses and I don't see that happening in the future, or ever for that matter. Jack could be connected to Giggles but I don't see another house. If anything, maybe a scarezone based on them breaking out of the factory. That's about it.
  12. Just playing Devil's Advocate here because I personally like the idea. But out of 24 years of houses to do, I doubt they will do a house from last year. Also what Design said. I would love to see and experience a quality version of something like Dungeon of Terror and Frighttanic. That would be incredible for me
  13. Malcolm McDowell has hit rock bottom apparently since he is in a Borgore song O.o

  14. Looks amazing. Keep up the good work and I would love to see more of your work in the future
  15. I like the concept of what Face-off and 7 were trying to accomplish. The execution was lacking on 7 and they got a little better for Face-off. But they need to be more aggressive towards the people taking pictures. Take people's cameras and phones, photobomb them to get the scare, surround the people taking pictures so when they turn around they will get a spook. I just saw actors appearing and yelling behind clouds of fog and whispering in people's ears taking pictures.
  16. Because the actors spent more time moving the set around than actually scaring the guests walking through. If they had separate people moving the maze and have scareactors actually scare then I could see it work. I felt the same way you did on this.
  17. I want to see the actors be more aggressive than just popping out and waiving their arms around. I want them to get in our faces, put some hands in the face like they do in the streets, block our paths like the Gecko Brothers in FDTD in the main room. I want to feel a sense of danger and not just loud music and someone appearing in a spotlight 5 feet away. Also like JDW said, I would like a story. My first year was the last year they was truly a story to the event (2011) and I miss it. I can take a guess as to why they moved away from the story for individual houses, that being that most IP's don't need a story. But I miss the storylines. Even the original concepts have moved away from stories and just did a mash-up "scary things". That's my main issues. Anything else for me would be just nitpicking. (if this isn't nitpicking by itself xD)
  18. A house based on closing time at Universal on the moving standways. Truly terrifying.
  19. I'm all for pushing the envelope, but if they do, Universal should really push or even enforce an age limit and house warnings. If they do go the more extreme route and keep the same formula, they will run into more complaints and complications than ever before. I would like to see a more intense HHN, but I hope they are prepared for whatever happens throughout the run next year. Last year was nuts for both Hollywood and Orlando.
  20. I figured that Orlando would hold back on the Dark Christmas concept and let Hollywood decide if they want to make it a maze or not before we took a crack at it. Unless Hollywood already decided not to then gave Orlando the OK. I know they are just rumors but I'm just thinking logically about each one and they all make sense. the walking dead will bring in the horde of the casual HHN goer and the die hard fans of the series. Purge worked out great for them last year and cheap to make. Alfred Hitchcock will work depending on the story they choose to portray or if they do a room or 2 for a select number of movies, also having Alfred Hitchcock would definitely draw some attention and curiosity. Then Jack which was a given since the reveal. (Quoted only so people would know what I was talking about, sorry Forever xD)
  21. I mean sometimes, very rarely does Despicable Me ever get crowded to the point of blocking off the maze entrance so I don't see it being an issue. It could easily be fixed by having the full queue open and make guests walk the whole thing. It's usually never that busy in general during HHN. I don't see the issue with having it open.
  22. I just hope that if they do another 3D house, they make it to the quality that The In-Between and Penn & Teller (<--unpopular opinion is unpopular). I feel that they should do it right or don't do it at all.
  23. Ew. Can we keep the Annabelle chatter to a minimum? I'm still grieving over the loss of my 12 bucks to see it. If they made the house, the queue video would be a walkthrough of the house. (In case someone didn't see the movie, it was so predictable) Anyway, would anyone think its possible that we would have another music based house like Alice Cooper or someone similar? I would think not due to its past record. But it's something to think about at least. I wouldn't mind seeing one honestly. The best one would be Rob Zombie but he is off doing his own houses in Arizona and probably fed up with Universal at this point. So he isn't realistic to come. I really wanted to experience House of 1,000 Corpses but guess not xD
  24. Yeah, The Evil Within was more wishful thinking than speculation. I know its stupid to think that they will bring it. Just...wishful thinking xD Anyway, didn't we get hints or first words around Mardi Gras last year? I know it was around one of the major events Universal has and that's the only one I can think of, that and it lasts so long.
  25. Okay. I am on Chapter 3 of the game The Evil Within. I know I am no where close to being done with the game. It could turn out to be a bad idea, but from what I've played, this would be a good idea for a house. I know it's zombies but that seems to be the theme HHN is going on so it could fit. Or it will be too obscure for anyone to know what it is or for Universal to pick it up. I wonder if Bethesda would be open to something like that. Thoughts?
