  1. I still think at least one of the roaming hordes will be led by an Icon, like the Chainsaw Drill Team led by Eddie. (That is, unless Eddie is featured in the Icons zone, which I don't see happening.) Since one horde is females, and one is males, something I believe I have brought up is the possibility of both of those hordes being led by the icons that never got their own events: Eddie and Cindy. Eddie leading the CDT as the male horde, and Cindy leading the female horde. Who knows... this is just me predicting based off of the very little info on to RH we've received, which is almost nothing.
  2. You forgot "Jacked Up" Sorry guys, I had to...
  3. Here's the thing about Jack. Maybe he's not the best Icon. But he sure as hell is the easiest one to introduce to a new crowd, ESPECIALLY when they have no idea what an HHN icon is. He's an evil clown with a dark sense of humor and a gritty personality! If you ask me, he's the easiest for the new crowds to adapt to, and if the ads this year are anything like the stuff HHN just gave us, people are gonna want to go.
  4. I really do hope so. I would love to think that this year is the beginning of a future of re-introducing all of the icons... But that, my friend, is merely a wish. But then again, who knows. After all, Jack was this year's kickstarter, instead of TWD. And look at the site! IT'S ALL JACK!!
  5. And that easily plays into a story on how returned. Look at him. He WAS in the lantern... and who knows what it was like in there... The blog description said something about Oddfellow... maybe he freed Jack from the lantern..? (Just a thought)
  6. Indeed. It screams iconic. Definitely my favorite logo they've ever done!
  7. Good point. I'm surprised I forgot about Nightengales. That would be a really cool horde! Now that I think about it, there are so many past things the CDT could be. I feel like Saws N Steam would work best though. I was thinking Hellgate was a possibility too, since the Scarezone was apparently scrapped.
  8. The hordes from 2012? Could the female horde be the return of the Prisoners?
  9. Something I've been wanting to discuss is the two Roaming Hordes that were on the leaked list. Of course, the only details we've gotten on the subject is that one will that one of them will be all males and the other will be all females. One of them is obviously the CDT. One of my original ideas was that the CDT will be a horde led by Eddie. It would also be interesting to see a clown horde led by Jack, but if Jack and his "clown minions" end up in the HHN Icon zone, I'm not sure we'll see a Jack horde. Eddie COULD end up in the Icon zone but it seems more likely for him to lead the CDT as a roaming horde. As for the all-female horde.... Maybe a female icon? I was thinking of the possibilities and I would think that Lady Luck and Story Teller would end up in the Icons zone as well. What about another Icon like Eddie that never got their own event...? Cindy? Could Cindy possibly lead her own roaming horde next to Eddie? This is just a theory, and I'm really trying to add something else to talk about until we get new info from Twitter. Any Thoughts?
  10. I do agree with you on the fact that there is literally nothing to discuss because of the lack of updates from Mike over Twitter. There's also the fact that we know pretty much the entire lineup already. I'm just tired of the "Nintendo coming to HHN" idea I guess. It's upsetting that due to the lack of news from HHN's/Mike's Twitter, has led this thread to discuss Nintendo's amount of sales, lol.
  11. It's funny how this has absolutely nothing to do with HHN... This is getting out of hand. I'm on this thread to discuss Horror Nights, not Nintendo's retail. Like Legacy said, can we please stop all of this Nintendo talk? It's a waste of time.
  12. Also, today during my weekly trip to Universal, I notice that between Soundstages 21 and 22, (you can peak through the gate separating Rockit's locker queue and the SS's) There were stockpiles of wood. I mean loads of it. There were other materials too, like what looked like metal palettes. I'm not sure if all these supplies are for HHN house construction or just there for park purposes, but like I said, there was a shitload of wood. I got a picture but It's a little blurry. I'll try to upload it to my Computer and post it on here later.
  13. Honestly, I don't think Nintendo is going to appear in any form during HHN. I don't believe it'll even be open during the event, just like Kids Zone has been for the past few events. I just don't see it working. Like I've said on the speculation thread, I think video game houses are done. The 2 game houses they've done in the past (Resident Evil, Silent Hill) have enormous fan bases and multiple movies. No other horror game franchises have that. I just don't see Video Games returning to HHN anytime soon, especially Nintendo.
  14. To be honest, I don't think Universal has any interest in video game houses unless they have a large fan base like Silent Hill and Resident Evil do. And let's not forget, both of those games spawned multiple films. I really don't see any more video game houses coming to the event anytime soon.
  15. As for me, I'll be sticking around here. Sure, we know the entire lineup now, but things can always be scrapped and changed just as they have numerous times in the past. I expect this year's first announcement to be very soon. At least before the end of May.
  16. Nothing is confirmed when it's this early. Anything could get suddenly scrapped and replaced. It's only April. Many things aren't 100% locked in just yet.
  17. I've said this before. No matter what the title of the show is, it's still just more Zombies to me. Though I am interested to see what new atmospheres FTWD could bring as a maze, I'm still not sure how much different it would really be, when it's just more zombies but a different title. I'd rather watch the actual spinoff show first, and THEN decide if I'd prefer it over the original show as a maze. On a different note, (getting TWD out of my system) I will say that I'm super intrigued by the scarezones. Scary Tales is something I've been calling to return since speculation began, and I'm totally excited that it's likely to return. It mixing with steampunk is a little strange but after giving it some thought, I really think they could pull an amazing scarezone with the concept. After all, they did pull off steampunk clowns. I'm also definitely excited by the fact that 6 zones is also likely to happen. The zones last year were great and all, but 4 wasn't enough for me, knowing that they had enough room for more. As for the Roaming hordes, I'm still shifting some ideas around. My original idea was "Jack's Clown Horde" and "Eddie's Chainsaw Drill Team Horde", But that doesn't seem to be the case now, since the article said one horde is all male and the other female. I've been thinking along the lines of icons, since it's an anniversary. I still think Eddie will have his own horde with the CDT, but for the female horde.... Chance? Mary Agana? Who knows.... It's too hard without digging up horde clues from Cassi or Doc, if there even are any.
  18. That's something I've been thinking about lately. This year could either be a REAL anniversary year, where they go full force and celebrate the amazing original creations that made Halloween Horror Nights' past so amazing. Or it could end up just being another IP centric, Walking Dead year with a "25th Anniversary!" tagline on it. How can it be an anniversary year when everything revolves around TWD again, like the past 3 years. I just can't see another Walking Dead commercial during an anniversary year. If that ends up being the case, then I'm done, and I totally blame Comcast. I want a real anniversary year, with advertisements/posters with icons and original content on it. Then, sure the IPs can be listed on the bottom. Who knows. I hope I'm not disappointed, which I'm usually not, but when they say it's going to be an anniversary year, I want to experience one. For real.
  19. RUN 3 is actually on my list of HHN25 house predictions, and it has been speculated many times. I could definitely see it as the extreme house, even. I'm actually excited for this one, even after experiencing the god-awful Hostile Territory sequel. I think they can make RUN 3 a thousand times better, with new effects and concepts.
  20. Hmmm. Children's Halloween Costume Contest gone horribly wrong in the Trick Or Treaters scarezone?
  21. I think it's Scary Tales, and not just children stories. It just makes way more sense.
  22. Well, something I said earlier was that AWIL returning could benefit the event in other aspects. More houses = More Money. However, by reusing a very popular house from the (recent) past, it saves A&D loads of money to distribute elsewhere like towards scarezones, shows, effects, costumes, website content, etc. Especially scarezones. I feel like more recent scarezones have lacked a bit, and I'm hoping we get more than just 4 zones this year. Hell, we've had 6 scarezones before. We have room for so much more than 4.
  23. I think it's absolutely necessary for them to bring back the queue videos this year, especially for anything past-HHN related, or sequels. They need to introduce the past to the new crowds that have been going since 22, 23, or 24, and don't have a clue about the icons, or nightengales, or the gentlemen, or any of those amazing HHN creations that have been left alone for years.
