  1. Since it's being advertised as the STARZ property, I think all bets that claim it's secretly based on the first two movies are null, since outright false advertising would get Universal into serious legal trouble. And I'm beyond excited about this official announcement--I caught up on the show a few weeks ago. It's gonna be groovy.
  2. That wasn't so much the show itself as it was speculation. From what I understand the showrunners made it pretty clear that only the first episode takes place on election night, and that's it. (And I'm not sure how Twisty would return unless it's a legacy character emulating him or Edward Mordrake also returns, but that's just me being picky.)
  3. I'm fairly certain that this has been one of the more prevalent rumors that has been floating around about this year. (I wouldn't know exactly, as I took a couple of weeks off from here and am unsure as to what exactly I have missed.)
  4. The puppet work was absolutely phenomenal. I don't scare, but they almost got me a couple of times.
  5. On the contrary, I thought the AWiL repeat was very well done.
  6. All right, when I first heard they were doing this I was kind of miffed, since I love the show and Evil Dead 2 is basically just The Evil Dead but with a higher budget. But putting it from that marketing standpoint - don't give it the same name as a past house if it's not a real repeat a la AWiL - it makes a lot of sense. The promotion for the house should be able to make it pretty clear what the actual theme is anyway, so it's not as though it will truly be false advertising to anyone who actually paid attention to the promotional material for the event.
  7. It's been forever since I contributed to anything on this website, but I scheduled my scareactor audition appointment today. I was really nervous to do so, but having read everything here, I'm just excited now.
  8. Wait, is that really the reason we didn't get Rocky for the 40th anniversary? That bites.
  9. That is very true. Although it did seem to be pretty edgy for the Singapore event, it just wasn't...I don't know. Jack'd Up enough, I guess. I, too, thought Carnage Returns was much better than Carnival of Carnage, and that's not just coming from a place of bias. Objectively, it flows better, there's more to look at for those who may have discovered too late that they're uncomfortable with all the gore, and I like the added sense of twisted fun with Jack essentially being the leader of all these maniacs rather than just having maybe two or three other "followers." It makes him more threatening, in a way.
  10. I saw this show twice last night and was very impressed both times. I thought the whole thing was just phenomenal, and I do like that they took a leaf from Singapore's book and introduced some minions for Jack. They were very fun to watch, and I loved their background antics.
  11. I saw it for myself last night, and I personally thought it was hilarious. Perhaps not exactly the most highbrow humor, but it's Bill & Ted--I don't really expect that. And without spoiling anything, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised.
  12. I don't know about meet-and-greets, but I can confirm that Bill and Ted have been the same guys for at least the last few years. I'm personally looking forward to seeing it, mostly because the only other time I've seen it was last year, which I thought was pretty good.
  13. I've only seen it on YouTube, but I love this show already! I've seen people complain about the dancing and acrobatics, but I can't for the life of me figure out why. Did they want a rehash of Carnival of Carnage, or something? I think the new bits enhance the experience. Gives the guests more to look at, anyway.
