  1. it's all starting to click into place. I'm guessing a new reveal soon.
  2. It's no mystery that universal security and I are on shaky ground (as far back as 2002 I've have incidents). Aside from all the grief they have given me over the years for buttons, trinkets, and wallets I've brought, I bring my Nikon every year and every year they hold their hand up to the kit zoom lens insultingly like I'm bringing some giant pro telephoto lens (like the size of the lens denotes who is a professional). As stated above, they are so hit and miss with what is acceptable. Every year is a hope and pray situation with me. I don't dare bring monopods, tripods, or even a handheld gimbal. But many people do get away with it so maybe it's just me.
  3. "worst year" is tough. Each year has it's strengths and weaknesses. If you want to say worst street experience... and in the modern era... 2007. Old era had few street experiences but was 92? 93? they put scareactors into the ride queues and it was pretty lame. house-wise... I couldn't say. I've genuinely loved houses at every single event... and typically just dismissed some as well. My worst house experience was Vampyre bloodbath. one run through 1.5 hr wait time, to get stuck behind morons. House was super short. Also my highest anticipated that year. FEELING-wise is easy for me. Last year. Absolutely terrible. Didn't get to all the houses. Barely stopped for a bathroom break let alone food. Paid out the nose and still came to the conclusion that you have to do express. Overall very stressed, upset, and generally just aggravated the entire night. But see the varies from person to person. Before that HHN 20. I was injured on a fence in an unlit line. I was evacuated out of line twice (once do to an underage drinker well exceeding her limit and passing out in line), and I was harassed and humiliated by security for having buttons. Before that 2007. Great Great houses. Horrible horrible lines. Didn't see Jason of Jack's house. Saw literally 3 scareactors in the streets that night. Was burnt by a cigarette, broke up a fist fight that I almost got dragged into, line jumping was completely horrendous that year as they had wide open food carts in the lines themselves and people were exploiting it.
  4. My biggest concern with Krampus in a hot tent is not the atmosphere... but safety for the cast members. The costumes from the movie are almost literal fur carpets. I mean I'm sure uni knows what they are doing but, wearing a seriously hot costume in a hot tent could be dangerous.

  6. Well, if I recall right, egos were the hindrance in the past three years. I can imagine, for it to happen, they would have to get top billing. Problem is, already signed TWD contracts for top billing. This also kind of makes sense with why TWD was so downplayed an announcement. If true, they would both need top billing and probably would need the same spotlight. I would imagine, and I'd could be very wrong, that when/if AHS comes to pass they would announce both officially at the same time with art work and advertisement.
  7. AHS, as much as it pains me to say (because I've never been a fan). Classic horror movies bring in a certain clientele but AHS is modern and popular with a wide swath of the population. It will bring in 10 fold more people... No, not really. I can't back that up. But it will bring more people than typical.
  8. Exactly one house. Winter's night. Yeah you don't need it to be cold but look at the costumes in the movie and then look at a MIB tent and the Florida temps. That could be a serious health risk. If it is in a tent (and I genuinely am not 100% sure it is or even if 100% happening) I would hope large AC units would be involved. It can be done the question is will it? It isn't hard to connect the dots on what the mega house is. Whether it's worth it is a matter of opinion and remains to be seen. There is this odd precedent lately of making new ideas... and then Universal seemingly feeling they can't go backwards. But that isn't sustainable unless they stop "one-uppping" each year. 9 houses, mega house, classic movies, heavy hitting IPs, etc. all of that can't keep progressing upwards forever. I'm in the boat that states less is sometimes more. Spread yourself too thin and you have lots of quantity but suffer quality. I'm guessing they will probably plateau in house numbers now with 9 being the norm for some time. They have to have enough crowd eaters to keep the event manageable. But I guess it remains to be seen what happens when they've done all the crowd drawing IPs what happens next. Will they endlessly rehash them? Already we seem to be trending with a "2 year reboot" where they are rebooting an IP from just two years prior (AWIL last year and Halloween this year). While I have no problem with H2, it seems like a worrisome trend. By that logic I would expect the purge or FVJ back next year, and then one of this years back the next... and it soon becomes a house of mirrors where all IPs have been rebooted at least once. But this is all hypothetical. I am curious to see where the next few years will take HHN.
  9. TWD shares 24 with the requel... allegedly. My guess mega house is in 25.
  10. Yep yep I do that a lot lol. Time means little to me anymore. Alright since I goofed. It wasn't a house outright... by itself. That should be enough to tell you where it was supposed to be.
  11. opposite. I couldn't give two opossums about Michael. But creepy scary hospitals are better then the house scenes of the first.
  12. fun fact... Halloween will be in the same place it was supposed to be in 2009.
  13. Ah OK. I have been incommunicado in the mountains for 9 days and then I was feverishly working on getting my final teaser out. So my mistake.
  14. Texas - m I know it's been around a few days but I didn't see that anyone posted it.
  15. I can say, based on the amount of per order shirts I have bought and made, the quality is fine but the longevity is not. Shirts ranging 28 to 32 dollars per and then shipping. My "teeth" shirt I made at the same time as the official wore out this year. the official is still fine.
  16. Prices are cost prohibited. Shirts typically costing upwards of 30.00 The voting idea was a good idea but got ugly. My design was involved in that (the teeth design) But there were a lot of great designs that year. If anything, have them submitted and have a blind vote where no one knows the results until the end. That way, no popularity contests can erupt.
  17. The transition is complete and no more tests are required. Standard transmissions will begin August 1st.
  18. So no The Thing to all those who had speculated it.
  19. This is believed to be because they have to share top billing with the "shall not" IP. It's just a logical guess. But they may produce graphics and an offical place on the site when it is revealed... otherwise.. I dunno.
  20. The more I hear the less I think I know things with certainty . Makes things interesting I guess.
  21. And again thank you everyone who checks in here and your interest. Here is another sneak peak of the next teaser.
