  1. I will attend tomorrow (10/12/2012) until 10 PM (due to a tweak in plans on saturday). [All Scares Bulletin] I will be wearing my: *HHN 22 Hoodie along with the "A New Age of Darkness Begins" shirt from HHN XX. *Navy Blue/Tennis Ball green New Balance Sneakers *Duffy Ears (Tag Team Alternate will be my figment cap). Miscellaneous items My signature blue eastport backpack with Micro Duffy. Blue DS bag with the Duffy pins. Duffy will be wearing his "safari/general adventure" outfit (along with his signature "reflective" coat) and his skechers with the reflective segments Pal Mickey 2.0 will be attending as well in his "safari/general adventure" outfit.
  2. Props to the first nurse on Cast A at Silent Hill. She not only scared Duffy (almost scared him out one of his shoes too) and I, but she also tried to make him friends with the Robbie the Rabbit doll too. Most of the House of Horrors cast (especially the wolfman) and the ones in the final gauntlet for targeting duffy by grabbing his face. The garden scareactors in Dead End for trying to grab Duffy. in the scarezone dept., The scareactress who confronted Duffy, Pal Mickey, and I by asking for "Sophie". Many of the prisoner scareactresses, especially one of them who thought of Duffy as "pretty" (even though Duffy was wearing his police officer's outfit).
  3. I will be attending tonight (10/5/12). As usual, here is my All Scareactor Bulletin: [Me] The House Always Wins shirt from last year HHN 22 Hoodie (since most of the soundstage houses tend to be a bit cooler) Blue Jeans Navy blue/tennis ball green New Balance sneakers blue eastport backpack with the micro yeti and micro duffy keychains attached to it. I will be also wearing 2 Dreamcast VMU units on my neck (as "dog tags") [Duffy] Side Note: This one is going to be a good one for the prisoner scareactresses. Duffy will be wearing his police uniform and "firefighter coat" with reflective stripes Shoe-wise he will be wearing his usual skechers with the reflective sections. [Pal Mickey 1.0] like Duffy, he will be wearing a police officer outfit.
  4. Some props to most of the Traditionals (i think they're the ones with the pumpkin headed creatures) for giving me some random scares. As for the pumpkin scareactor who was in one of the mini-sets in Hollywood, I never would've imagined that a simple cowbell was enough to scare anyone, but you made a major exception. Cody who was one of the beasts who tried to "eat" Duffy. Many of the chainsaw inmates, but two of them that really made my encounter with them was 1. one of them who obviously targeted Duffy by putting a spin on the "Fuzzy Wuzzy" rhyme, and 2. another inmate who did her job a bit too well, because she made some innocent bystander have a full fledged panic attack and had her crouch in a fetal position (believe me, i saw the entire thing), and that inmate had a "Jillian Michaels" moment by shouting at the bystander to "Get Up!!" Housewise, HOH: The Dracula (at least i think it was Dracula) from HoH before the crouching portion. P&T: most of Cast A was impressive, including The "Magician's Assistant" who called me out by my actual name, and the wedding preacher guy who tried to "hang" duffy with his rope. And that's all i can remember.
  5. 3 nights so far Silent Hill: 5 Dead End: 3 Gothic: 3 House of Horrors: 5 Alice Cooper: 5 Newk'd Vegas: 5 Walking Dead: 3
  6. I will appear tomorrow on the 28th (as i have the FFP+ pass) As for my All Scareactors Bulletin which applies for targeting either myself or my Scareactor Targets (Duffy and Pal Mickey): [Me] I will wear this year's house shirt ("Once you're inside, There's no way out!") blue jeans Silver Reebok sneakers Duffy Ears (and as a "Tag Team Rules" alternate: my Figment Hat) and either last year's HHN hoodie or this year's (as i plan to get it as early as i can) [Pal Mickey 2.0 (the one with the disney medal on his left hand)] his "safari" (a.k.a. general adventure) vest [Duffy] Brown "Jedi Training Academy" longcoat Blue disney shirt firefighter trousers (as they are easy to spot due to the reflective sections). "Patriot" high-top sneakers.
  7. just wait until Hell Week happens, that's when more booze-fueled altercations happen.
  8. I began opening night by waiting for house of horrors, after seeing that the Alice Cooper house opened first, i was disappointed for not making that choice (but i would end up regretting this as soon as i left HOH). But House of horrors was good, especially the crouching section which almost felt like a military basic training drill with the monsters above you. As soon as I left HOH, it was pouring like crazy, but it slowed down for a little bit. Then i moved to Alice Cooper (after having my Pal Mickey "retreat" inside my backpack, and putting on my raincoat). Alice Cooper's house was good, but it's quite reserved for most who have listened to some of AC's songs in the plot department. Penn and Teller's Newk'd Vegas was when the rain really hit the fan, and it was pouring like crazy, but waiting in line was worth it, since while i was waiting in line, the actual Penn and Teller were being escorted out and Penn was shaking everyone's hand (including mine) and thanking them for waiting in line, and the house was worth it. The chromadepth 3D effects were great and the button gags were a great touch to the humor. Next, I went to Walking Dead, which was ok, but of course since it was still daytime (despite the rain), the pathway was too easy to see, but at least some of the zombies did target Duffy (Pal Mickey's Scareactor Target partner) a couple of times. Dead End was next, and it was funny because one of the house ops in the "naruto orange" shirts said i was "traumatizing Duffy", but i told her that he was used to it (since he did make his ST debut last year). The house reminded me for some reason of Legendary Truth: The Wyandot Estate (i don't remember how it was actually called), with the overall atmosphere. Next up was Gothic, which had that "classic Castlevania" appeal with the whole atmosphere (especially in some sections), and the gargoyles were quite spot on, but for some reason, their appearance reminded me of both the gremlins (from the Gremlin movies), and oddly enough, Stitch. but it was good. I finally went to silent hill, and it did share lots of elements from the games (such as some of the common enemies). I really can't say much since it is unique in its own right, along with requiring multiple visits to really understand it. so despite the rain, Duffy and I managed to enjoy HHN 22's opening night... even if the rain was an ironic reminder of last year's opening night. And since i do have the FFP +, i'll be back with the hopes that the houses do get some improvements, not to mention that Pal Mickey will appear in the next visit.
  9. I'll be glad to throw my hat in for this one. Ok, here is my pic (don't mind the statistics on the photo, as it's something to not only keep track of my Seas Aqua Tours, but it makes the photo unique). I very well known to the HHN community for wearing random Disney hats (I.e. Stitch, Figment, Mickey Mouse, and of course, Duffy), along with trying to attract scares with the help of my "scareactor targets" which is one of my Pal Mickeys, along with Duffy the Disney Bear. So if you see me, don't hesitate to shout out "Figment!" or you can also target either Duffy or Pal Mickey
  10. Opening Night for both last year and this year: Why? because of the rain. and despite having an actual raincoat (which is normally my work one) this year, i still had to balance between keeping my stuff (cameras, both my DSi XL and 3DS), myself, and Duffy the Bear (one of my scareactor targets, aside from my signature Pal Mickeys) dry.
  11. Opening Night's shoutouts: *pretty much every scareactor who pretty much targeted Duffy (mainly by pointing at him and then waving their index finger). *One of the Kidzone scareactors who teamed up with whom i think was Victoria to ambush me. *many of the female inmates whom have targeted me (because of both my Duffy ears, along with having Duffy), including one who said that she remembered me from last year. *and the high school jock from Alice Cooper who signaled me that he was focusing at me and Duffy. on a side note: normally, Pal Mickey would also share the brunt of the scares, but since it was raining, I didn't want him to get wet, so i put him in my backpack.
  12. I'll be there opening night. and wait for it... yes, here's my signature "All Scares Bulletin" for any scareactors who want to target me: I will be wearing my "It's Showtime" shirt from HHN 19, along with jeans, and silver reebok sneakers. Like previous HHN events, I'll be wearing a random disney hat, but will be alternating between two (under tag-team rules), and for opening night, i'll wear my signature Mickey hat, along with the Duffy ears as an alternative hat. As for my scareactor targets, it will be Pal Mickey 2.0. (a.k.a. the Happiest Celebration on Earth version with the mickey symbol on his right hand), along with Duffy, who will be wearing his pumpkin outfit with the hat included, along with his skecher shoes (which have reflective sections).
  13. here is the small version of the Silent Hill Billboard. P.S. forgive me if it seems a bit distant, since i snapped the photo from my 3DS.
  14. surprised that HHN 22's just around the corner, and quite fast too.

  15. here are some of my videos of 7 (featuring the "bear-y" newest Scareactor Target, Duffy) From Opening Night From 10/14/2011 (in the daytime) From 10/21 (at night) From 10/27 (again, at night) About this one, The reason the Vanity minion says he "doesn't like cops... or firefighters" is because Duffy was wearing a police officer's uniform as well as his reflective firefighter coat (which was easy to spot in most of the houses).
  16. now that you mentioned the monorail spiel. The Cast A conquistador was very spot on. he even mentioned "Aqui matamos a Mickey" (here we kill Mickey) when he saw my Pal Mickey for the first time. even funnier was when i came to the house in later nights, and that scareactor would often lament on how many times would he try to kill mickey only for him to return (which on the 3rd time he faced him, i replied that Pal Mickey had infinite lives in spanish)
  17. here are my statistics of the days i forgot to put post, so here goes: [10-21-2011] Winter's Night: 2 The Thing: 2 Forsaken: 2 In-Between: 2 Nevermore: 1 Saws and Steam: 1 HR Bloodengutz's Holidays of Horror: 2 Nightengales: 1 [10-27-2011] Winter's Night: 1 The Thing: 1 Forsaken: 2 In-Between: 1 Nevermore: 1 Saws and Steam: 2 HR Bloodengutz's Holidays of Horror: 1 Nightengales:1 [Final Visit Stats for 2011] Nights Attended: 6 [Final House Stats] Winter's Night: 6 Nightingales: 5 The Thing: 6 H.R. 18. here is another of my walkthroughs at 7 (from 10-27-11)
  19. i don't know, i guess the atmosphere felt almost like in assimilation. and if i remember well, i think the area with the pool table felt kind of familiar for some reason.
  20. Now for this review, i wanted to wait until the end of the event to avoid any spoilers from being leaked, but with HHN being over, i feel that now is the time to do the review. This review is a compilation of days that i attended HHN this year, but i technically wasn't alone on 90% of the days, since i had my Pal Mickeys (each version attended a random night), as well as Duffy the Disney Bear who made his debut as a scareactor target this year. So with that said, here's my review of both the scarezones, houses, and the Bill and Ted show. [scarezones] 7 I've always regarded the hollywood blvd district to be a great scarezone area (a good example is the 20 years of fear gauntlet from last year). This scarezone did not cease to amaze me. Now even before HHN started, the puzzle was easy to solve knowing that it was to be based on the 7 deadly sins, and the mini-stages represented them quite well. The scareactors were very spot on (especially Cast A) in the fright department. And the use of The Beautiful People made it more intense in suspense (particularly the cover version). I had a whole lot of fun, but unfortunately, Duffy always got the brunt of the scares (especially from Vanity's goons). Score 10/10 Acid Assault This scarezone was very impressive on visuality (especially how they made the buildings look like they were in a state of decay). And the scareactors were quite good, especially when they were given chainsaws later on in the event's duration. the only gripe is that there was more space they could've used. 9/10 Grown Evil This scarezone was ok, the only deal was that the costumes for some of the scareactors reminded me of Stitch mixed with a gremlin, but the fog made up for it. 9/10 Canyon of Dark Souls Nothing much to write about here. just a small portion of World Expo which has grim reapers on stilts. while the idea was just "meh", at least the use of the scarezone was good due to it's possibility of the reapers being camoflauged 8/10 Nightmaze This scarezone reminded me of various games including puzzle games such as Dr. Mario and Columns (because of the way the area is rotated to give a different experience each time one enters), as well as the base portions of Contra. The use of darkness made this scarezone an experience to be ready for, which gave guests an opportunity to choose their path and see if they make it through. 9/10 Your Luck has Run Out This scarezone was ok, but there wasn't many scares as the event wore on, but during opening night, the use of "cattle prods" made the houses quite intimidating, but there wasn't many spots for Lady Luck (her evil versions) to pop out of without being easily spotted 7/10 [Houses] Winter's Night This house was ok, but not too many good scares. At least the atmosphere was quite cold. 7/10 The Thing I was quite disappointed with this house since it was too much of a rehash of 2007's The Thing: Assimilation, since most of the scenes were re-used. At least the loud gunshot sounds made it all the more good, but not enough. 5/10 The Forsaken This house was absolutely great. The scareactors were spot on with their roles (including one of the Cast A Scareactors who targeted Pal Mickey and said that he would "kill him" in spanish). The only problem was that for some of the scareactors, the green eyes, made them easily spottable. 9/10 The In-Between This house was very well executed, and the Chroma-Depth 3D made it more immersing (so much so, that i would get two 3D glasses - one for myself, and another pair for Duffy). the effects were also reminiscent of Jack's Funhouse in 2007 and the Disorientorium from 2005 (particularly the "disco" laser room). 10/10 Nevermore While i've only read some of Edgar Allan Poe's works, this house also showed some of his other famous works (Telltale Heart, and Masque of the Red Death), The one thing which made it more enthralling was how the scareactors were spot on with the stories they were inside of. 10/10 Saws and Steam This house was ok. the scares were good, and the use of water for some areas made it all the more cryptic and added more depth to the story of the scarezone from last year. The use of Nine Inch Nails made it better. 9/10 HR Bloodengutz's Holidays of Horror Now what would happen if there was a slasher movie for some popular holidays? Well, this would be the end result. The scareactors were spot on, and it was also fun. As far as i'm concerned, the thanksgiving scene was practically the closest thing to really seeing a slasher based on Thanksgiving (which was one of my memorable faux trailers from Grindhouse). Duffy was often targeted in that scene (particularly by the native american girl with the knife). 10/10 Nightingales This house reminded me of many war related things such as the early Call of Duty games which revolved around WW1 and WW2. The scareactors (particularly the ones playing the banshees) were very spot on and their scare tactics reminded me of how good Body Collectors 2 was back in 2008. 10/10 [shows] The one show i watched was the Bill and Ted show. Now i'm going to be short and sweet about this. It was funny. and Papa Smurf's case of the munchies (funyuns, twizzlers, and funyuns) even inspired me to bring funyuns and twizzlers for my work's halloween potluck (with successful results, especially after i explained where i got the idea from). The one gripe i have is that even though charlie sheen was poked fun of, he should've been a main supporting character, but aside from that, it was funny. 9/10
  21. as I mentioned yesterday, i have been told that i was able to attend Sunday Night (which is another of my many firsts this year), and since yesterday's trip to HHN was unexpected (but thankfully posted), i wasn't able to post the All Scares Bulletin for sunday. but as promised to the HNN members who are scareactors (along with other HNN members), here's the final All Scares Bulletin for sunday. All Scares Bulletin [Me] What Happens @ Bill and Ted's Stays @ Bill and Ted shirt light blue jeans Navy Blue/Tennis Ball Green New Balance Sneakers HHN 21 Hoodie (with the sleeves pulled back) Blue Eastport Backpack (with a Duffy pin on each strap) Blue DS Bag All Scares Bulletin [Pal Mickey 3.0] Military Fatigues "Safari/Adventure" vest Black "Solid Snake" like headband One thing to point out for Duffy's ASB, sunday will mark one year since i got Duffy, so if any scareactor wants to do a "happy anniversary" scare, it's cool with me. All Scares Bulletin [Duffy] Safari Outfit (which happens to be Duffy's very first outfit) Boots
  22. some shoutouts from yesterday's outing. [seven] *Gluttony temptress (Cast A) who got Duffy and tried to "feed" him the grapes, *Sloth temptress (cast A) for getting Duffy to take a "nap" with her), *Envy temptress (cast A) for "introducing" Duffy to her snake. and *Vanity's goons (cast A) for recognizing Duffy from his previous visit on the 21st, and even going as far as to call Duffy out for wearing a police officer's uniform and telling him that "he didn't like cops". *Envy Temptress from Cast B for calling me "figment". [The Forsaken] *Cast A was spot on when it came to noticing Pal Mickey, especially the soldier following the opening jail scene who once again lamented that Pal Mickey is still alive (to which i replied in spanish "Infinite Lives") [hr Bloodengutz] The Thankgsiving chick who pointed her knife at Duffy, as well as the elf with the toy chainsaw who tried to "attack" Duffy
  23. I will be going tonight (10/27/11) and on Sunday (10/30/11). All Scares Bulletin [Me] Duffy Ears Mickey Mouse Hat Lady Luck Shirt Blue Jeans Navy Blue/Tennis Ball Green New Balance Sneakers Blue Eastsport Backpack Blue DS Bag All Scares Bulletin [Pal Mickey 1.0] Sorcerer's Apprentice Outfit All Scares Bulletin [Duffy] Firefighter's Coat Police Uniform Sunday's All Scares Bulletin for Myself, Pal Mickey and Duffy will be announced tomorrow.
  24. here's one of the walkthroughs through 7 i did on the 21st. I apologize in advance if for some reason the quality is rather grainy since my Finepix WP camera is normally adept to daytime video recording and photographs.
