  1. Did anyone go for the final night? I guess it was foolish to think, but I was really taken back with how crowded it was. Coming in, I saw more people at the will call Windows, than any other night I've been. And the express lines were some of the longest out of all my nights. FvJ's EP line at one point was literally backed up to the entrance. Same with Insidious. Not how I envisioned the final night going but at the same time, I had my fill. Here's an interesting tidbit for those that didn't know: when the IAAPA show is in town later this month, they take some attendees (not sure how access is granted but likely IAAPA membership is one requirement) over to Uni and they get to go through a couple of the houses not demoed. Complete with actors. I'm jealous.
  2. So express on every night attended and then regular line for a couple repeats?
  3. How about The Plague Doctor? Be all decked out with the Plague mask and period garb, except underneath the mask, which we'd see, he or she has long since died and decayed, quite grisly, from the Plague. Good year to then justifiably have a reboot of Catacombs. Maybe have an Egyptian style house themed on the 10 plagues of Egypt?
  4. This was about the floor level boo holes being utilized in the candy room corridor. I've probably had 5-6 runs since you posted about that addition, including a final go through last night, and I never saw those boo holes used. I was bummed out. Anyone else see them being utilized? Perhaps due to the incident with the kicked scareactor they decided to forego those floor level scares? But then again, the actor laying on the ground in Body Collectors was still there.
  5. Make her into a male character - Bloody Harry...(insert gratuitous laughter). Though that might not go over too well with our UK guests.
  6. Yeah, I'm leaning that way as well. In 2013, they made the announcement by now to open up the weekend. And with this year's final night being an open night for FFPs, there's really no need. However, some said last year's final weekend was really dead. It could be a game time decision, but I'm not expecting it. I'm fine with the final night being an open night for FFPs. They may see how Friday goes and then decide last minute for Saturday.

  8. Ummmm, yeah. Someone going a little too deep into that rabbit hole. So in 12 years of going to HHN, I've been to just 2 B&T shows with my 2nd being this year. Not a show person so it's a more me and not them type thing. Though it sounds like it's a pretty flat year anyway. I didn't mind the Jack show except I thought it went on a little too long. Can anyone tell me what types of things go down on the very last B&T show of the season? I hear that's worthwhile to see. I've also heard there may be special guests for each of the final shows? Any truth to that?
  9. My favorite one. That was some freaky stuff. But I did like the kill represented from Dream Warriors. Always makes me think of the movie - Kincaid, seeing the guy walking by while being puppet controlled from his tendons by Freddy, says while half asleep "have a nice stroll, asshole."
  10. I think he means that Aiello, in this specific regard, is including scenes/aspects that he likes versus producing them for the paying customers. Guess you can call it a perk of the job.
  11. Did anyone else hear that that actor playing Carrie resigned? She was being harassed and assaulted all month (mainly by "drive-by" style drunks who went out of their way to specifically harass her) and it got to a point where she didn't want to deal with it anymore. That's terrible.
  12. FYI, some of the cast from TWD will be at HHN tonight. Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs. As to what they'll be doing, that I can't say. It would be pretty cool if they randomly appeared in the house a couple times. I'd imagine they'll get a tour of the event with Aiello.
  13. There's a mirror reflecting props hanging on the ceiling to give the depth feel. When you look over the balcony once you first get into the scene, the illusion is absolutely perfect. When you look through the second view after the column, you can clearly see the mirror sections and the seams along with the placement level of the mirror, which isn't far below at all.
  14. The last 3 or 4 nights I've gone in this house, snow has no longer been falling at the entrance. Anyone else notice this? Last run was Wednesday around 7pm. I foolishly asked the ops standing outside the façade what happened with the snow. Answer given: I think it will be on later.
  15. The taters on a stick are pretty damn good if I do say so myself. I like salty foods but, damn, make sure you tell them to go light if you don't want to be drinking 2 bottles of water to finish the stick.
  16. Both Jason and Freddy were in the zone at the same time on two occasions I went through here last night. As the crowds weren't too bad, people weren't mauling them. I kept trying to get a decent picture of Jason but when I'd line him up he'd pose for a second but then kept literally walking right up to my face and my camera couldn't adjust quick enough. Dammit!
  17. Good evening spent at HHN tonight. Manageable crowds. Arrived a little before 7pm and walked on BC. M&M was at 40, FVJ 45 and 15 for AWIL. Longest wait I saw was 75 for Insidious which seemed to be from a recent B&T show ending. Run never more than 15. Asylum was mostly walk on. And I had a pretty good run through of it. Best to date. Seems like they added some tubes to a section to squeeze by. And they were trying to pulse the lines as well. But it was one of those nights where timing wasn't our friend. Be it cast changes, missing scares and some houses just feeling empty - knowing where a scare should be and nobody home.. And it wasn't due to cast changes. Tomorrow should be hellish with 4 area counties off from school on Friday.
  18. First set is right around 8pm and it's 30 on and 30 off for them. They are by the Jack stage area where the backstage parade entrance is. They're setup so when the Carnage show is going, they're off.
  19. My friend works in the Icons zone and said it was awful. Fools knocking over stilt actors, some actors getting pushed/punched in the face. Lots of arrests and trespassing. Such a shame. These are the things we take for granted for all you scareactors. Don't really see the level of idiocy you have to put up with.
