I would love a Duel Run house but I dont think well see that again... I think TWD should go to the back of the park (Parade) As much as everybody loves BloodenGutz I might note the main actor who played him has retired from UO and I really dont see him coming back to do it.

I dont know how many houses well share again but I bet it might be the same amount as last yr.. Its going to be like this for a while I bet (Us sharing events)

I think its safe to say this now.. It looks like were sharing mazes with Hollywood again this yr

I'm sry but I really dont think H.R. BloodenGutz can be a good icon.. For a house yes, but not for a whole event.. It screams to much of the Cryptkeeper

The event really doesn't really need an icon to be honest.... I know A LOT of you guys and gals love icons (I do to) but I think its time they stop doing icons for a while.. The last 2 icons weren't really that remember able.. Just love the event for what it is and have fun.

The California division is fan made.

HOS Im afraid to say is a tad better then HHN... HHN has the details but they dont have the scares.. HOS has the scares not the details. I love HHN and all but HOS has really stepped up there game within the last couple yrs.

UO needs to train there actors and teach them the art of the scare.. Granted most people have been doing HHN for yrs but there are a lot of noobs.. Scaring isnt just going out and saying "BOO!" there is an art to it. UO cast people based on looks, not acting....

I hate gore myself but you rarely see blood at HHN...

HHN is rated PG IMO, many Haunts are borderline rated R in some cases.. I'm not a fan of gore but some Haunts do it well enough were its not so over the top.. HHN isnt intense and hasnt been in yrs.

Its almost like deep down A&D knows they cant be scary so they go all out on the details.. IMO the event is rated PG but they cant say its PG cause if they do they have to start selling kids tickets. For an event thats going on 23yrs they can do any house they want and the crowds well still come (To a point). Its going to be fun this yr to watch the crowds, I remember in 08 the crowds were small, granted the market was shit, but a lot of ppl didnt like all the crowds from 07 so they didnt go to 08

You know they read the fan sites when a member of A&D would stop you and go "Tell Dr. Raymond Holmes I said Hi"

One of the overall things they did talk about is the challenges they face.. Each designer from every field has faced challenges... One of the challenges for HHN designers is the person who signs the checks...

Patrick said last night that every house starts off original, even if its an IP I was shocked he brought up fan sites.. He didn't say which ones though.

As a fan of Haunts Im seeing more and more Haunts coming up with there own stuff.. UO has been doing HHN long enough that people will still go matter what kind of houses there are.. IP just equal money but sadly corp is putting to much say now.. Let A&D do there thing and show the world what they can do.. There is some awesome stuff on display at Transworld this yr but I kinda dont see UO spending the money to buy the stuff.. Money talks! IP's bring in money and that's what Universal (A company as a whole wants) Nothing against Murdy but he's been IP heavy since he started HHN again in 06 and I dont see him slowing down... He has been very successful with the IP's, Hell 2007 was very popular here with the fans and GP.. It just sells I love original houses but I dont see them doing A LOT like they use to.. Maybe 1 or 2 of them every yr. A new age of Darkness is here alright...

I never seen a single episode of TWD (Plz dont judge me) but if Hollywood is calling the shoots this yr then I can see them doing another house...

I LOVE overarching themes but I really think we wont see them again at HHN... Hell they never finished Roddy's 3yr arch. However, I've been wrong before.. Who knows maybe they well come back but I dont see that happening.

IMO HHN 15 had a better story line then HHN 18... What made HHN 18 was that TJ and Rick took a one page backstory to an icon and turn it into many pages through LT.

I just have a bad feeling were share a lot of the same stuff with Hollywood this year. Sadly there is nothing we can do about it if it does happen.. Hopefully there a little more organized then last year and don't do stuff the last minute (One can dream). So if were sharing events again, then I see Orlando using IP's again... Only time well tell (IMO both coast dont need A LOT of IP's cause at this point ppl well go no matter what the houses are).

As with Alice Cooper I dont think Orlando has the audience for Rob Zombie.. He just screams Hollywood.

I really dont see music houses happening here this yr... Maybe Hollywood.
