  1. Well, guys. I figured out that John Murdy hadn't locked this video he posted about hhn up on his youtube. The speculation is over:
  2. If you're right, it'd be sort of interesting using that area. Perhaps the path could be a scarezone or they could make it to where you have to go through the sound stage and there would be a house/scare zone combination in there that you would need to pass through. Don't know of the logistics of this though.
  3. I also am keeping tabs on this "Ifrit" situation. I don't put too much stock into it, seeing as how it was wrong the last time, but anything to fuel speculation is good as far as I'm concerned. There is some potential for this. Chances are they'll work it the same way that they worked the thing in 21. If R.I.P.D. is going to be there this year.
  4. I guess if we're going the home alone route, the closest thing I can think of that would work with such a connection is Psycho-scarapy: Home for the holidays. The T.v. show supernatural also is a possibility as it has about the same popularity as the walking dead. Although perhaps that's a bit of wishful thinking on my part.
  5. I want people to remember that what I was talking about is speculation mixed with wishful thinking. Chances are we already have the answer to what balloons means, or at least there are a few people who do, based on what they've said. The houses I suggested are sci-fi based, an exception to a rule when it comes to hhn. Take what I say with a grain of salt, don't discount it, but just remember that I'm as lost as anyone else is here.
  6. It just occured to me that I may be swaying people. Despite the fact that my 99 red balloons theory seems to be pretty well done, I want people to keep it in mind, but not necessarily take it as gospel. I want people to be skeptical of it. It's a nice theory, but all of my theories point to "sci-fi" related houses. I want people to remember that sci-fi houses are very rare at hhn. I can name three of them, maybe three but I'm certain that that's the maximum that hhn has ha...

  7. Now that I think about it. Perhaps the word "think" is a bit of a key word. I'm trying to find out if anyone who had relation to the creation of the nuclear bomb had any quotes regarding thinking. All I could find was this Einstein quote: "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." I don't think it has much relevance, if any. However, I would certainly start looking into what they both mean by thinking. And about what.
  8. Not to keep throwing things out there, as there's a point where you have so many ideas you're helping speed things up and point where you have so many that you slow things down, perhaps my 99 red balloons thing has a connection with horror unearthed? Which potentially has a connection with legendary truth? "With orders to identify, to clarify and classify."
  9. It's also worth mentioning that the background for the image looks like a map of sorts. I can't make out the words, but it might also be written in toungue or a real language that isn't english.
  10. I wasn't thinking about that possibility, but that's interesting. To elaborate on my ideas I'll connect them to the lyrics: Back at base, bugs in the software Flash the message, "Some thing's out there" Floating in the summer sky. - Continuing with the "balloons" thing, weather balloons are generally conncted to alien visitation conspiracies as a way of disproving that we... I mean they exist. "something's out there." Some speculation on this: X-files, aliens in general or potentially the franchise or something to do with conspiracies, maybe even dead space or interstellar terror. "Panic lads, it's a red alert. There's something here from somewhere else" "The war machine springs to life Opens up one eager eye Focusing it on the sky." "With orders to identify, to clarify and classify Scrambling in the summer sky." Simplifying even further: "Back at base, bugs in the software" could have something to do with shadowcreek labs, havoc: dogs of war. Also, a militaristic post apocalypse might be a possibility. Also, given the song was in German, it could potentially be a toungue in cheek reference to nazis taking over or something. That's probably some people guessed Nazi zombies. Moving away from the song however, I had these ideas: 100 year anniversary. Sweet 16 was another party themed hhn, could we see a return of classic icons in much the same way as that year? The movie IT. Or potentially the book. Balloons could be a red herring as well. What's the opposite of a reason to celebrate? Death? Undeath? Treaks and Foons Cindy Other than that, that's all I've got. About terra cruentas though: I could find nothing of burning, however this: http://halloweenhorrornights.wikia.com/wiki/Terra_Cruentas says that the cycle of terra cruentas was broken when the Queen sacrificed herself. Unless burning is a metaphor for them losing everything, I don't think that terra cruentas has any relation to this. I could be wrong however. I didn't attend that event.
  11. Now that I think about it. Anniversary party balloons might be important. After all, 100 years of horror is something worth celebrating.
  12. I posted some lyrics to the song as a guess, but incase people might not see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FG-3LeJvfzU Something to do with this song, maybe? Either an interpretation or a reference to it in terms of subject matter.
  13. I was just wondering, but does anyone have any music that pre-dates 2001? I don't imagine so, but I'd be interested in seeing (hearing, rather) what was used before then. Also, good job on finding these. I've downloaded them all and saved them to my computer and have really enjoyed them. How do you figure out what songs were used where? Seems like it would be tough. I will nitpick a little though, the version of more human than human in year 22 isn't the right version. I think I posted that a while back somewhere, but it's not a big issue anyways. I think it was the "warlord of mars" remix.
  14. I had mention of "Lady luck" not being the first choice for an icon in 2011, however I've never actually gotten more information than that. Does anyone know what the original idea is and why it didn't work? I just assume she wasn't becasue she didn't have a house and seemed to be just thrown in at the last second when it came to the "Your luck has run out" scare zone.
  15. I believe this will answer your question: http://www.hhncrypt.com/years/eventart/7flyer.jpg I'm curious as to what this actually looked like though. I wonder if anyone has any video or can give a description of it.
  16. From a very quick google search, I gathered that it was some sort of mirror maze. I don't exactly know much else about it as I don't really have the time to search for more info at the moment. Hope this helps.
  17. I'm back from the dead! Too bad my previous computer isn't.

  18. During the waterfall shows, there was a fairly chuckey-centric video that used this song.
  19. Well, if it's in the park as well, they may have removed the concept due to time constraints or the rain that I just saw. I don't know if the rain made it over there though.
  20. It's still not appearing on my end. Anyone else having any luck?
