  1. Pedophobia is the american english spelling of paedophobia, I believe. I think podophobia is the fear of feet.
  2. O_O did I post something about that in this thread at some point? i feel like i did...well anyway, it would be cool
  3. But...but...there's so many fears! But using just the letters....i only got to "a pedophobia" fear of children... :\ that can't be right
  4. ...a dope phobia? :\ That's the only thing I can come up with. I suck at this. The number 7 is all over the place, and the 7th letter of the word is the one that's circled.
  5. Is there any chance this is referring to Legendary Truth? Thinking about electronic wave measurements (like ones used in paranormal investigation equipment) and indian chiefs (indian burial sites that are dug up or built on historically have paranormal activity)...I'm not sure where quixotry fits in exactly.
  6. question....what about the numbers 5 and 6....they're thrown in there in the jumble. The number 65 is known as a "cullen number" (don't even go there with the twilight reference...no. no way no way no way.) and the international call code for Singapore....
  7. C L C O T or C L S O T closet? occult? locust? costal? obviously it can be a much longer word, but it's fun to guess
  8. ...is that what should be happening? Or are balloons and kevin having to do with two separate houses/SZs/etc.? lol idk if you'll answer that in light of your desire to be especially cryptic this year, but it's worth a shot In terms of these Spanish references...what about La Llorona? I know it's an HHNH thing but I've heard good things about it in the past...maybe they're bringing it over and adding an Orlando twist? Again, wishful thinking.
  9. What if the scrabble idea is alluding to games in general? Return of horror unearthed? Or a house based on a video game (not SH, I would hope).
  10. Are we entirely sure these anagrams need to be one word each? This one could come out to...quiz case, a sec quiz....idk just brainstorming
  11. This could just be me and my paranoia but...would nuclear war be such a great topic for HHN to dive into considering current real world events? Maybe it doesn't matter...I'm probably being overdramatic. Shocker. But it's a thought. I love the cabin in the woods idea as much as you do, but just to play devil's advocate here for a moment....I can't help but think that the "Kevin" reference in the film might be a little too obscure of a reference in terms of its presence. For example, let's go back to "balloons"...if we were to start naming all the horror movies that have ever had balloons in them, we'd be here all day. Off the top of my head, I know Omen had red balloons in it for a very short time (seconds, I think)...but I figured it was too obscure of a reference, so I didn't really bother with it. Or I'm just really bad with disappointment and I don't want to get my hopes up about the awesomeness of a cabin in the woods house lol
  12. I took the same class in middle school...also in florida. it was called "enrichment" class.
  13. The circles need to mean something...that's what's bothering me. Maybe those two letters need to have something in common. For example, the only letters out of the 12 bolded letters (which we are assuming comprise the anagram) that are NOT doubled are "P" and "E". So, maybe those two letters belong in the circles. Their order is unbeknownst to me, and I haven't been able to unscramble the letters yet. Though, a few words you could form from some of the 12 letters are ice, icicle, police, slice...so on and so forth That's as far as I got before I wanted to gauge my eyes out lol
  14. New Ifrit post via instagram Quote: Only reason I'm posting this is because I love puzzles. I'm a sucker, I know.
  15. This could also go hand-in-hand with the 100 years of horror element....it would give them a ridiculously cool excuse to really bring back all the monsters and creatures from the past 100 years...not that they need an excuse, but I think with the success of CiTW, it would attract more people, especially the younger generations, who might not be as familiar with old Universal horror, but are definitely familiar with CiTW's scary monsters. I'm lovingggg this idea! Totally onboard with this branch of wishful thinking lol
  16. Are you referring to the entrance that is used during Holiday time for the Grinch/christmas show? From what I remember, using that entrance, you cross from IOA into Universal behind one of the sound stages, using a passage through Seuss Landing. Apologies if I'm thinking of the wrong spot.
  17. Being an 80's/90's kid, I went immediately to Kevin from Home Alone. It's like a trigger word lol Kevin is also the name of the kid prophet on Supernatural, if anyone watches that. Kevin Smith directed Red State...if anyone has seen it, you know it would make a sort of nuts house. Though I doubt it would happen...but the idea of a religious cult attacking "sinners" and "non-believers"...that's always creeped me out. And finally, just for my own amusement...the Kevin Ware injury just recently was just as much horror as I think you can get during a sport. Geez. Seriously...scary.
  18. Speaking of films coming out....what about an evil dead house? It's a Sony movie...the re-make that came out this month, that is...idk what the universal/sony relationship is off the top of my head, though. But anyway...evil dead is an amaaaazing franchise to take advantage of in terms of creating an original house. Total wishful thinking.
  19. I think the ifrit is quoting dr. jimmy...in his video from yesterday, he said a sentence including the phrase "thinking as much as you can"....so maybe it's a variation of that: "think as much as (you can)". Plus, J has been telling us to THINK repeatedly. Maybe it's about that....or maybe this is just a teaser from ifrit to get us psyched. In my case, it totally worked
  20. Wasn't klowns from the 2007 Hollywood HHN? And even though Dr. J loves his april fools jokes...I can't help but think that maybe taking inspiration from Hollywood isn't what they want to do this year...as much as corporate will allow, anyway.
  21. *GASP* My wishes....They can come true... ...oh wait wrong company. A Stephen King house would be phenomenal though! Though I'm not sure the whole "balloons" idea would apply to the entire house...and idk if Dr. J would give such a particular clue concerning just one facet of King's work. But any guess is a good one...and I love entertaining the Stephen King idea every year anyway....even if it's just a pipe dream.
  22. Balloons.... While pennywise and clowns (and even Up) are fair guesses, I have my own to contribute... Aren't balloons used during Rocky Horror Picture Show showings for the "virgins" in the audience, for the "virgin sacrifice"? Maybe I'm pushing it, but having a massive Rocky Horror showing at HHN would be....amazeballs, to put it lightly.
  23. Ok question! Anyone remember all the songs they played throughout this house? I was jamming most of the time I was in there....just curious
