  1. Thats crazy that annual passholders only get $15 off! I thought it would be much less!
  2. I agree we need to see these again this year, I got the FFP/with express last year and it was such good value for money. It will be a pain if they dont do them this year
  3. If your only planning on going once then you can just buy a ticket on the day. The ticket prices vary depending on the day you go. Or you can make a day of it and if you go to Universal in the day buy a 'Stay and Scream' which is much cheaper! (which I would probably recommend because Saturdays are very busy!) If you buy a 'Stay and Scream' ticket im pretty sure you can stay in the park when its shut to avoid the ques and they open the houses early so the people inside get to go round before the gates actually open! I remember last year I got round 3 houses before they had even opened the gates haha so I would say that a 'Stay and Scream' ticket is the best choice
  4. A bit gutted to see that the facade isnt the same as it was in hollywood. I thought it looked amazing there last year! Still looks pretty cool though I guess theres only so much you can do with a Sprung Tent Facade
  5. Sundays and Wednesdays are usually ok although Wednesdays only start from the 17th October, and depends how many times you want to go really? The Frequent Fear gives you 15 nights and is $81.99 + Tax or with express $169.99 + Tax (I reccomend getting the express option if you want to go through the houses lots!) Then the Eush of Fear (which is all nights for the first 3 weeks) which is 10 is $69.99 + Tax and then with express $169.99. I think the frequent fear is a better option because you can use it when you want and as the event goes on and on they tweak things slightly to make them better so Id say going mid-later october is good as I said though depends how many times you want to go
  6. I hope we see a similar facade as well I think it looked amazing in Hollywood
  7. Oh yeah I know what you mean but although they have been inspired by something doesnt mean that they are a version of it. Like The Forsaken had its own backstory, new characters etc that no one has ever seen before. So although it was inspired from something it is still a orginal concept. And yes I completely agree not all of the original concept houses are good but the majority of them are usually pretty good. As I said earlier I think that its the fear of stepping into the unknown, you dont know whats going to be in the house. Whereas a house like SAW (while it was still good) you knew what was happening and you were familiar with your surroundings. However im not slating IP houses at all I thought The Thing last year was really good.
  8. With the Alice Cooper house pretty much confirmed this leaves us with 4 houses remaining. So the question is will we see more shared houses or will there be 4 original concept houses?
  9. WOW, nice find man! Well then that confirms that then haha. Another 3D house this year!
  10. As I said man only my opinions haha and yes I really hope that im wrong and it might even turn out to be like the AC house (The house of the event) but only time will tell!
  11. Yes! Orginal ideas (for me) are the best house. Dont know why but they just add that element of stepping into the unknown! Dont shoot me down again please just opinions haha
  12. Karras: Should of taken your advice man! Haha. Its cool though if people disagree with me thats fine. Everyone has different tastes at the end of they day and maybe mine just dont suit them
  13. Thats a bit of a harsh statement Im only sharing my opinion on the matter. Its not narrow minded because its just my opinion if you think it will be good then thats fine with me. I hope that if this is a house then I will be plesantly surprised.
  14. WESKER69: Im very open to new things and I know that A&D wouldnt make a house if it wasnt going to be up to there standards. What I say is completely my own opinion people dont have to agree with it if they dont want. All im saying is that I dont think a P&T house is something that fits anywhere into HHN? They are stage magicians (that include elements of gore in their act) But thats really as far as it goes. Thats why they would be the perfect show because they are doing what they do best in a enviroment that they are very familiar with.
  15. Fangoria is a horror related magazine.. P&T are magicians, and yes some of there tricks are pretty sick minded but can those concepts really be transfered into house material? I would personally say no. Do you not think that a house based on them or lets say there 'minds' is just not scary at all? Yes it might have guts, blood etc but thats really as far as it can go. Thats why a show would be much more suited to the event. Im not discrediting P&T at all, I love watching them but in this particular event I dont think its a right environment for them, after all they are just stage magicians so they should stick to what they do best. That is very true this could be a dark comedy house! I still think though even a house based on them or inspired by them is a very strange choice.
  16. I might be completely wrong but I dont think it will all that good, obviously it hasnt been made and no one has experienced it but I just cant see how P&T can be scary?! Its off the cards but a show is much more appropiate, a house is a step a bit too far.
  17. I might of missed something in these forums and sorry to say but where is the evidence to suggest P&T are going to be there 100%? Im not sure if I like the idea of this (if it is in fact true) I can't see it being that good at all. Alice cooper I can understand but P&T is a bit of a weird one for me.
  18. Has anyone thought that 'Your Alternate Ending Awaits' could mean a double run house? After all there is a lot of things that are going to be covered in this house?
