  1. Ok... So not only will we be forced to wear 3d glasses, but now there is a possibility we might have to take them on and off throughout the house to get the full effect. On paper that might seem like a good idea, but in reality I doubt it's going to work out so well. I honestly don't understand why haunted attractions insist on making 3d houses. Are there really that many people out there that would prefer this style?
  2. "Now, a strange fog has rolled into the village." I hope they use a ton of fog effect in this scare zone. It's probably going to be tough to pull it off in the SF area of the park though. It's fairly wide open over there.
  3. Not a big surprise, but good news nonetheless... Twitter... Roaming hordes are also returning ! -m
  4. So the second show is basically just like Jabbawockeez after all. The Academy of Villains are just another dance crew. Here is some footage of them from another show (unless there is more than 1 Academy of Villains).
  5. Scare Zones • Survive or Die – A global catastrophe has ruined Earth’s atmosphere. One group of survivors secured a machine that provides clean air. The two other surviving groups are on the hunt to gain control of the machine and are recruiting new members to help them. You can either join them or feed their staving ranks. Which will you choose? • Banshee’s Lair – Travel deep into the forest where evil spirits and horrific creatures of the ancient world roam free. Mother Nature’s magical barrier of vines has been torn away and the modern world has found the entrance to this corrupted grave. • Dead Man’s Wharf – When a fishing vessel named Annabel Lee never returned to the harbor and was lost forever, the wharf was left uninhabited as a memorial to her. Now, a strange fog has rolled into the village. And the long-lost fishermen’s spirits seek to punish the town that left them. • Vamp 1955 – Welcome to Hollywood High School’s 1955 Homecoming Parade. Everything is in place, until the greasers roll into town with fangs instead of switchblades. It’s a procession of chaos with vampires ready to take a bite out of anyone in sight. • A Chance In Hell – Get ready for the audition of a lifetime. Chance may be locked away, but that hasn’t stopped her. As the alarms ring and the bloody remains of those who tried to stop her lie around, she’s busy recruiting cellmates to join her biggest act yet. (I hope I get chosen!) And we can’t forget about the two spine-chilling shows this year: • Academy of Villains: House of Fear – Join this high energy performance troupe of inmates in an explosion of insanity that will thrust you into a realm of mayhem and maniacal terror featuring dance and specialty acts. The Show Must Go On! • Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure – No Halloween Horror Nights would be complete with these “excellent” dudes! The Wyld Stallyns return with an all-new Halloween adventure.
  6. What the heck... Hollywood gets the new Walking Dead attraction, Japan gets a fall Harry Potter makeover(with Death Eaters!), Singapore gets interactive marketing materials... What does Orlando get (other than more houses)? I kinda feel like we're getting shafted a little, especially considering the hike in ticket prices. This AHS house better be something special.
  7. I've lost count of how many different variations of 3d houses I've been through at various haunts and even the best ones are only "bleh". Most of them generally have the same feel and they're just not the kind of horror I can get into. Besides that, you have to put on those glasses which never seem to want to stay on while making my way through and are mostly a distraction. I've yet to go through a 3d house and say, "wow that was so amazing", although a couple of them had some decent paint jobs throughout the years. Has the Chance house been 100% confirmed to be 3d? I read at some point that there was a good chance it was. If it isn't 3d, it would definitely go up a couple spots on my list.
  8. 1. Halloween 2 (I love those movies) 2. Krampus (very anxious to see how well they pull this one off) 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Have yet to see a well executed version of this, so this could be pretty good) 4. Exorcist (The Exorcist was the only movie I actually fell asleep in at the theater (remastered version), so I'm not overly excited like most) 5. The Walking Dead (Not only is it back again, but it is mostly going to recap stuff we've already seen) 6. Chance (if this one is 3d, this is where it belongs on my list)
  9. Officially going into Shrek... HHN - Orlando ‏@HorrorNightsORL 29m29 minutes agoCamden Town, London This maze is being constructed into our second Shrek theater. It also mentions that there will be toy-like creatures from most likely from the attic scene, the dark elves, and obviously the big guy himself. I guess there will also be gingerbread men... HHN - Orlando ‏@HorrorNightsORL 26m26 minutes agoCamden Town, London Maniacal Gingerbread men invading the family kitchen..
  10. Are they going to wait for noon pacific time to officially announce this? I think they're a little late to the party.
  11. Guess when I read this earlier... ..one of the mazes we'll talk about on Sunday @ScareLosAngeles has been announced already...one hasn't...(gasp)! I assumed that it makes more sense to announce something at a venue instead of a late Wednesday night or random Thursday afternoon. So probably the dual announcement within 24 hours?
  12. There will be a house announcement at Scare LA... that is confirmed. He then posted what I pasted above ten minutes ago, so there might be 2 announcements by the weekend... possibly.
  13. Murdy twitter moments ago... That's all for now...stay tuned...something is coming soon...sooner than you think...I think... 2 announcements over the next 3 or 4 days?
  14. We still might have to wait until the weekend for the official announcement. Since it's shared, why would they announce it days apart?
  15. Welp... Guess it's Krampus. I was trying to match the bells to the song Krampus - Karol of the Bells from the movie.
  16. Any guesses as to what these sounds mean? It was posted on twitter.
  17. The red and black (goats) has me thinking it could possibly be related to Chance. The colors red and black make me think of cards and/or gambling in general. Gambling involves chance too... However, I have no idea at all where goats would fit in.
  18. Mine as well toss out a couple of my initial guesses... Interstellar Dreaming - maybe have various alien species roaming around Revving Sun - Unless I misunderstood, Legacy said, "What's the last thing people would expect to have a chainsaw?" Ancient Egyptians or maybe Priests (Sunday Mass). Red Goats and Black Goats - no idea... maybe classic Universal monsters and newer school horror.... Evolutionary Turning Point - Planet of the Apes style... McDie - could the Mc possibly be mc as in master of ceremonies - Chance? Either that or some sort of restaurant that kills people and serves the meat to customers.
  19. So we might end up getting ghosts/undead characters in a western ghost town with no pistols... I think I may have brought up the possibility of this happening several weeks back. I really hope this change didn't happen. People from the old west had pistols so their recreation of the old west should probably have them too.
  20. Announced -- The Exorcist Announced: Second coming -- Texas Chainsaw Massacre Announced: The returning -- The Walking Dead Announced: The return (Parade) Halloween 2 Unannounced: The expected - Krampus? Unannounced: The requeling - Still Ghost Town? Unannounced: claustrophobic jewel - Is this one Cobweb? Unannounced: The unknown - Chance Asylum? Unannounced: Shall not be named - AHS? Yeah... I couldn't recall if the jewel was Cobweb or not.
  21. Just to freshen up my memory, The requeling is Cobweb? Cobweb was possibly going to be a reboot of Ghost Town? I never saw the original, but I have an idea of what it could have been like. Granted it is only a couple pictures, but a brain and bloody skulls aren't screaming the image of a ghost town in my mind at least.
  22. I'd at least like there to be a Negan cameo at the very end. Maybe have him swing Lucille at us on the way out.
  23. For all you TWD fans... 2:35 is pretty crazy! We're not getting anything from the new season, right? It is only going to be a greatest moments taken from all the previous houses including some from last season?
  24. I could be wrong, but I don't think the Doris Day house matches with the house location where Krampus is being built.
