  1. Well they make all that anyway. Might even have access to the molds.

They wouldn't really be able to find people like Bolaji Badejo. Most would either be just bigger costume or parts. Heads, hands. upper torso in the wall I doubt you would see a full body alien in the house free walking. My guess is the aliens would be puppets in general.

I would love to see a retro fit of the AWIL rigs for the Xenomorph.

  2. I'll share one more thing with you guys: After Walking Dead comes back for one more year, they'll make it a year-round interactive "house" akin to Universal Studios Japan's Biohazard/RE "house arcade". Twister will close this November and the interactive attraction will replace that attraction. They should announce it around HHN.

You lost me on this one. I have a hard time believing this. Universal doesn't cater to the kiddies like Disney does, but I don't see them putting an outright violent attraction like this in.

  3. That seems... poorly planned if that is the case. The shops have been fully advertised. It wouldn't seem to make a lot of sense to publicly announce things that aren't finalized or even approved. But hey I'm not in the industry so I cannot attest to how things are done.

Everything announced has been cleared. There's a reason the Carkitt Market area was only mentioned to the press and not in the webcast.

  4. As for Potter... that doesn't really make sense. All the conceptual work is done for Potter. Heck it is near complete. Cardiff plays a very tenuous link (at best) in the Potter universe. What business does he have for Potter there?

Conceptual stuff is done, but not everything is approved. Mike has been working on live entertainment for Potter and the Carkitt Market area of DIagon Alley, none of which has been approved by JKR yet.

  5. This is the one area I just don't understand. Where is it supposed to be and what location from the show does it represent?

It's from the episode named "The Clear". It's the town Rick is from that is now completely filled with booby traps and inhabitable by the guy he meets and stays with in the first episode. It's also the first good episode of the show since the premier (IMHO)

  6. Three more possible cryptic comments, eh?

Arboreal and Lumberjacks, to me, point to another Scarezone revolving around the "Evil Takes Root" concept.

As for alcohol...well I know Ops has been desperate for the past few years to go the Hollywood route and begin to curb if not outright stop alcohol sales at the event. Could it be something along those lines?

  7. I'd never thought I'd say this but I'm seriously considering not going this year. Seriously the Walking Dead house + all Walking Dead streets? Making it real hard to save up the money to go.

If I hadn't already bought my tickets, plane tickets, and a hotel I would consider not going.

But I need to go see Springfield and Transformers anyway.

  8. In regards to a RE scarezone. I could easly see a direct kind of copy from Japan being placed on New York. Also in regards to scarezones, anyone know if we may see something in the New Springifeld zone?

I have no inside info, but every interview I've seen about the new area has said "not this year".

I assume they want people hanging out and drinking at the bar and not getting scared.

  9. I remember someone asking about how houses would be connected. They also mentioned "resident evil." I honestly only remember one time that the resident evil series ever had anything to do with a forest. That was resident evil 4, which took place in a rural area in Europe.

Eh. The first game took place in a mansion in the middle of the forest/mountains.
