  1. I have a hard time imagining this work on a big stage, seems like almost all their stuff is catered toward small audiences and seeing things close to really get the illusion. I'm assuming they are working to create new material that will work on a bigger scale. I kind of like their style, a nod to old school magic and freakshows. Hell it's better than cris angel or crap like that.
  2. I would just like to say that I really like the website design this year, but it's missing the one thing I want the most..GAMES!
  3. So it's safe to assume IT IS connected to TWD since they're calling them Walkers, maybe we will get to see some characters from the show who aren't in the house in this horde!
  4. I would just like to say that even though I was thoroughly disappointed last night at the "reveal" I am actually getting really excited for this year. This is the first year that I'm not going into the event with a preconceived notion that a house will be bad. All of them have great potential in my mind. Combine this with the potential of a new street experience and I am one happy girl. This year may be "my year" as you people say. Almost seems like it's catered to me!

I can't wait to see the costuming for this house. I've gotten more excited about this house after the description from the fans that got to go in. Sounds like an amazingly beautiful set.
  6. This is my most anticipated house going into the reveal, and the one with the least info! lol I think this will be a favorite of long time fans.
  7. I have to admit that I wasn't particularly ecstatic about this idea before, but now that I see the story with the iniquitus it makes more sense and I'm intrigued. I think it's great that they are trying something different, but we don't know how "different" it's going to be. If it's just them taking the names off the maps and not actually moving around then that's not really different. I'm excited to see where they go with this, hoping that they actually move them around the park!
  8. Uni just gave us blue balls

  9. I'm pretty excited for tonight! Anyone have last minute speculation before we know everything?
  10. The one day I'm not on here and they release clues?!?

  11. I was under the impression that the SZ would not be tied to TWD? Obviously for a normal person who goes to the event (especially after how heavily they are marketing TWD) they will just assume anything zombie is TWD. I might be wrong but I seem to remember a few 'insiders' saying that.
  12. Found this interesting. In 2009 Sinister Pointe did a Silent Hill house, here's the breakdown of where the elements came from: http://shshatteredmemories.com/silent-hill-haunted-maze/
  13. It feels so good outside right now, come on fall!

  14. So close to the 30 day countdown!

  15. I've been a gamer for awhile, I got my first Playstation for Christmas in 1998. I have always been a fan of horror, my parents still laugh to this day that my favorite movie as a kid was Child's Play. They would bring me to the video rental store and I wanted to rent that movie EVERY time we went, while my sister picked out a Barney tape or something like that. So for some reason scary movies didn't scare me, I found them fascinating. I considered myself immune to all things horror, I laughed at adults that would tell me "That's too scary for children". For my birthday I got to pick out two new video games. This is when I discovered that they made horror video games! You can imagine how excited I was. I convinced my parents to let me get them. I got Alone In the Dark: The New Nightmare, and Silent Hill. To my surprise, I was actually terrified of playing them, even in broad daylight. So scared in fact that I gave up on playing Alone In The Dark and gave it to my cousin who was like 10 years older than me. But there was something about Silent Hill that I loved. It terrified me, but I found the whole world so interesting that I couldn't bare to give it away. I kept the game, but didn't play it again until a few years later. I can remember my little heart beating like crazy in my 12-13 year old chest. Silent Hill was the first thing I was ever scared of but fascinated by at the same time. That is why I can't wait for this house. I can't remember ever being this excited and nervous about a house. I'm sure other people have this feeling when going into a house they know if full of something they're scared of (clowns, the dark, etc..) but I don't have any of those fears. When in the queue there will be a little 12 year old inside me digging her heels into the dirt, screaming to not go in. I'm sure my heart will race and I will get anxious. i can't wait
  16. I went on that tour, and I only went on it to see him. To be honest the tour in general was lack-luster compared to other ghost tours I've been on but Robert the doll is by far the scariest/creepiest thing I have ever seen. That's saying something because I have had some scary run-ins with the paranormal. There's just something about him, and yes I refer to him as a person because that is the impression you get from the doll. If HHN ever had anything related to him I would avoid it like the plague.
  17. We've had the King discussion before, if you're interested look at page 11 on this thread and you can pretty much see why we won't get a King approved house/sz anytime soon if ever. I thought I would never say this, but I agree with Wesker.
  18. Well I guess you could consider this HHN related. About 3 years ago I started making a silent hill nurse mask. The picture is after I had finished the first base coat, eventually I did paint the whole thing but I don't have any pictures on this computer, maybe I can take one tomorrow and post it here. I stopped the project at that point bc I thought I could do better and started on another. Got pretty much done with construction on the second mask but then I moved and haven't touched them since. Maybe I should finish them? The only thing the first one really needs in a hat.
  19. I am crafty as well but never thought of making anything HHN related. Your bow is to die for! I love it!
  20. Played Silent Hill: Homecoming for a few hours yesterday and now I am getting excited. I find that the scariest aspect of all horror games is the flashlight. Something about seeing the creepy environment only through the dim, flickering light is terrifying.
  21. This is a living statue costume made by a haunter! Gargoyles don't sound so hokey anymore.
  22. Last week I went to Finnegans got a hurricane, then roughly an hour later another hurricane. Let's just say I was fairly drunk, and by fairly I mean really. (I hadn't eaten all day so that contributed a lot). If you're looking for the most bang for your buck I would recommend those, seriously like 80% booze and 20% juice. Make sure you eat first so you're not a drunk fool
