  1. I haven't gotten any surveys since the first big one right after the event.
  2. Interesting that you didn't enjoy the first Havoc. I personally loved it. What makes you think that we could be getting another Havoc house?
  3. I feel that Frequent Fear needs to be sold in a limited amount. Similar to how Knotts did their passes last year. Raising the FF price would be a viable option as well.
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about price changes. If they add a ninth house, and raise prices, tickets won't go up much. Throughout the past years they have only increased gradually as more features were added.
  5. I'd like to see another house fully utilize the strobe concept that was used in Dead Exposure. Not necessarily with the same theming. I think it could work with a lot of other themes and concepts. Imagine if it was used in a bug house. It would be just like the feeling when you are trying to kill a bug and it flies to the other side of the room and you loose sight of it for a minute. I'm going to start writing up a concept for this house over the weekend.
  6. That would be an interesting house. The whole idea of it being the same room, but different variations, would make the house feel a lot longer than it actually is. It would also confuse the hell out of the general public! Just imagine Legacy's idea, but with clostrophobic spaces. I've always wanted a bug house. I remember watching Indiana Jones as a kid, and there was this one scene from one of the movies where they fall into a pit of big, nasty bugs. What if we had a house packed full of danglies, slimy walls (like in AvP), ankle ticklers, and air cannons. Maybe I'll think about a simple storyline for the house, because at this rate I'm really loving it.
  7. I wouldn't mind that idea, JDW. I was watching Oculus the other day and just as a jump scare was about to happen, my power goes out and I hear noises outside. I will never watch it again. Creeped me out beyond belief.
  8. Now that would definitely be something we have never seen before! I'm liking this idea.
  9. I never really understood the whole glowing eyes giving them away. It wasn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I really liked it.
  10. What better to have for an anniversary year than a ghost house. But instead of a "haunted house" like we saw in 2010 and 2012, why not a ship/boat. We haven't seen that in years. You could argue that The Forsaken fits the "ghost ship" idea, and it does, but it's a completely different setting and storyline.
  11. I'm a sucker for houses like Dead End. Anything paranormal to be honest. And for it to actually take place in a "haunted house" or hotel, that just makes it better. I would kill for a ghost house, hotel, or ship.
  12. JackTheReaper makes a good point. I truly know that A&D cares about us and they are working hard to meet our needs and expectations. However, as it has been in past years, marketing and those above A&D have the final say in things. Sure, there are a lot of us who would love to see old content and all new originals, but there are loads of guests who want big IPs that they are familiar with. Well, we sorta saw it in Dollhouse last year. Just with a lot bigger and meaner bears!
  13. You are most definitely not alone. Blood N' Gutz is one of my all time favorite houses.
  14. Let me check and see if I still have any videos/pictures of the queue videos. I'll have to dig through my computer in the next day or so. I'll let you know if I find them.
  15. It featured past que videos from houses such as Blood N' Gutz and Hellgate, the lantern, and icons.
  16. A scarezone in London would be pretty cool. I suppose it could go either way with a potter theme or an original theme.
  17. Wouldn't doubt it. It's an easy zone to do. Universal has an abundance of costumes and props saved up that could easily work for another zone like this.
  18. I couldn't agree more with Charles and others who think that something needs to be done with auditions and training. It seems that the audition process in recent years has become more and more lenient. A lot of great talent is over looked due to the current process used by Universal. Other parks such as Knotts have a strenuous audition process that really puts people through tests to make sure they have what it takes to be a scareactor. I would love to see Horror Nighs use a similar process to seperate "the men from the boys" so to say. I feel that this could really help to put actors in the right roles and cast actors that truly have talent but haven't been able to scare because of the current process.
  19. Yes. I was able to see it. And I couldn't agree more with you. IPs are totally awesome, but only for the fact that you are able to experience a movie, show, etc. in a real life experience. I would take an all original year over a year crammed with IPs any day. Original houses built the event and I will always have a special place in my heart for them. I was looking through old event pictures and it made me so emotional. Only the hard core fans would understand me, but I've grown up with this event and it is a huge part of my life.
  20. Since 15. Looking at all these old houses brings bad so many memories.
  21. Man, the Scary Tales and Pyschoscarapy houses were awesome. As for Nightingales, I definitely think that it will be returning in the near future. Who knows, maybe next year. There is so much that they could do with Nightingales. I've always wanted a WWII themed Nightingales house. It would work nicely since the 2011 house was based off of WWI. Then again, there is also the possibility of the revolutionary war, civil war, countless other wars, and even non-war events. The possibilities are endless. I do remember a year or two ago at the Entertainment and Design Forum, the A&D guys talked about possibly doing a sequel Nightingales house sometime in the future. Another great series to continue would be the Urban Legends series. La Llorona was a cool house and the whole idea of urban legends is fascinating. I'm interested to see if the scrapped Chupacabra house will actually show up somewhere down the line. I had an idea for an Urban Legends house where Bloody Mary would be the main character and she would be conjuring up a ton of other urban legends and maybe each character gets their own scene. Anything historical/supernatural in nature is right up my alley!
  22. HUGE thanks to all the actors in FDTD. You guys have really stepped things up since the beginning of the event and I applaud you for that.
  23. There is nothing wrong with repeating house themes. Everyone who is freaking out about TWD returning is neglecting to think about all the other house themes that have been repeated multiple times. I wonder if they will repeat another original house theme any time soon. What are your thoughts?
