  1. Hey Kursed, do you think you could make a Welcome to Hell one for me? I would really appreciate it.
  2. ....Yes, wishful thinking, but I doubt that will ever happen.
  3. Reaper, we need you here in Hollywood. We don't have any original mazes, and yours are fantastic!
  4. ^Oh, okay I see. I was using your comment to reply to those after you posted that though. They seemed like they were worried until you showed that picture.
  5. As small as it looks, I measured the sprung tents in Orlando to compare to this. The sprung tents aren't that much bigger. But the Alice Cooper house was probably the second longest maze we had last year which is hard to believe in this location. If you watch the Youtube video you will really wonder how they fit the whole maze in the tent, lol. You guys will definitely have no problem getting a good sized maze out of Alice Cooper in the sprung tent. Especially, from what I understand, the sprung tents have been really having great houses since they debuted.
  6. ^They did say in, I think the Huffington Post, that they would pop up in the house to scare. I wonder how it will work.
  7. ^You bring up an interesting point, hadn't thought about since I forgot drunks are are problem in Orlando. I can't see how they'd do it unless they were like most scareactors who only come out of the boo-hole for a second.
  8. ^Maybe they could reuse costumes from Grown Evil.
  9. I'll give you a small description. You entered the house in a church when somebody put a blindfold on you. They would take you to a new room where they took the blindfold off and put you in a coffin, closed the lid and the only opening was a small cross cut out. They were going to use binaural sound to make it sound and FEEL like there were rats crawling on you. Through the cross opening, you could see claws grabbing at you. I think then you went to the 8 corridors, you eventually made your way to the school bus where they would lock you in the bus with scareactors while the back of the bus was on fire. That's all I can remember at the moment. Too bad it never happened, it would have been amazing.
  10. ^I wouldn't count on it. If it were a Legendary Truth house, my guess is that there would be some kind of teaser up for it like in 2010.
  11. ^It's part of an 8 corridors concept for the Extreme House, Severe Fear. Here's an official description of what it would have been.
  12. ^Your welcome. I actually want to see some of that stuff too. I'm kind of interested. I know Severe Fear has a blueprint- Also some of Universal in Hollywood has blueprints I don't know if Orlando has any like this. I've been looking for a while. If I come upon any more I'll post them, hopefully so other people chime in, because I want to see some too! Edit: Freddy's Maze 4 Creatures (Not a great Pic though)
  13. ^Does P&T count as a terrible Icon? Lol
  14. Eh.. It's not exactly what you were looking for but this website has some blueprints and conceptual drawings from 91-08. http://websites.horrornights.be/archives/behindthescreams.html Click on the drawers and they will open up those years. The blueprint is usually in the back of the drawer. But they have a lot of other neat stuff you can click too!
  15. So if this maze happened, would it have been a 7th maze, or did another maze take its place? BTW, This maze looks insane, I wish it would've actually happened!
  16. If Orlando is getting the same/similar facade to Hollywood, you're in for a treat. We are getting a huge facade for our park's maze, but I don't know if it's a hospital.
  17. I think it has to do with Knott's being such a big player over here, or at least in the past. When they created the Haunted Theme Park idea, they called the Haunted Houses "mazes" because they wanted it to feel like a maze, where you couldn't figure out how to get out. They have tried actual maze concepts at various places over the years, on the west coast at least. Knott's did a maze in the 90's that had dead ends and separate paths, but it was a capacity nightmare and everybody just followed the path of the people in front of them, causing the monsters on the other path to get bored and such. Queen Mary has done a maze like this the past 2 years with separate paths and dead ends. I've actually been in this maze, and let me tell you, it was a very weird experience not knowing where the hell you're going, lol. Oh, and there are rumors for a Knott's maze this year to use a similar concept to this in one of their mazes.
  18. ^Okay, i see this more clearly now. With all the "Blame Hollywood" rhetoric going on around here, I figured you got sucked in, lol. I see what you meant and I 100% agree with you. And it's funny, your original post was defending Orlando by not turning into Hollywood, and mine was defending Hollywood.
