  1. Yep. Orfanage had fire cause parts of the old Jaws extended queue were mostly open-air.
  2. What Would Loomis Do?

  3. You're right! Dracula Untold had Reign of Blood as it's sub-title.
  4. Haha, I think you've overthought that a lot. It's a simple sub-title that makes sense knowing how the movie ends. I don't think the fans or general public will be that confused, considering the fact that all the press releases and blog state pretty clearly that it's based on the original sequel to Halloween. Remember that even though a house may be based on an established property, that every house HHN does is still their own interpretation.
  5. This was the first thing I thought of when I was wondering how'd they pull it off with out using real fire like Orfanage. It's very convincing looking.
  6. I actually think Hell Comes To Haddonfield is a fantastic title. Especially considering the fiery finale.
  7. ORLANDO, Fla., UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. (July 7, 2016) – Fans may have thought it was over, but he’s still out there. This fall, Michael Myers will make his return to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights in an all-new maze inspired by the second film in the classic horror series, “Halloween.” The iconic horror film sequel continues the story of masked killer, Michael Myers, as he stalks an entire town and relentlessly pursues his victims. Now, his focus turns to guests as Universal joins forces with Compass International Pictures to bring the haunting film’s most suspenseful and terrifying moments to life at Halloween Horror Nights. At both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, Michael Myers returns in Halloween: Hell Comes to Haddonfield – a maze that’s bigger and filled with more menacing scare-actors than the original, top-rated “Halloween” maze. It will begin with the final scene from “Halloween,” where Michael Myers is presumed dead after falling from a bedroom window – only to disappear from the ground. Guests will dodge Myers’ lethal knife at every turn as they step into iconic scenes from the film – all culminating in a horrifying finale. Here's the official Close Up blog that Mike wrote about the announcement. UO Close-Up Blog.
  8. Hooray, news! Everyone loves a visit to Haddonfield. Let's see if the rumors come to fruition tomorrow.
  9. Hopefully it's a dual announcement, any news is good news.
  10. We've had shirts in the past, but unfortunately the demand for them hasn't been as high as in years past. If we do decide to design and sell a shirt for this year, you'll definitely see it posted in our News and Announcement section.
  11. Man, it's been a long week.

  12. Cogstein sums it up pretty well above, here was the menu from last year. I thought the food was pretty delicious.
  13. I don't think he was implying 3D the way we imply it. He said "in the 3D," but I think he meant more as in a full environment with props and sets, not a 2D canvas.
  14. Interested in Moderating and joining the HNN staff? We're looking for the best of the best of the best! Be sure to take a look at the News & Announcement section to inquire more details!

  15. Remember, nothing's confirmed until it's officially confirmed. I love 3D houses, but i'm hoping this one isn't. I'm hoping for a more gritty, unnerving house.
  16. Discuss the new, untitled Chance house here! Let us know your thoughts and ideas! "While Jack’s away, Chance has unleashed the horrors of her imagination. Her twisted delusions and reality are continuously blurred in a 3D playground of carnage. When the music box plays, the world shifts to her sinister theatre of the mind. But when the alarm starts ringing, Chance is thrown back into the brutal reality of her incarceration."
  17. Did you forget about Bloody Mary? Even though her house was subpar, the character design and promo was amazingly terrifying.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a longer video, logo, tickets on sale, and minor website overlay tomorrow.
  19. I'm actually excited the character is getting a full year to herself. It'll give them an opportunity to finally flesh out her character more.
  20. Added the official press release and video to the first post.
  21. Sums it up pretty well. I usually tell friends that come to the event that stay and scream is their best friend, even if you have an express. Majority of the time you can knock out two to three houses less than an hour after gate open, letting you loosen your schedule a bit for the rest of night for shows or repeat runs. (..or finnegans)
  22. Maybe not for yourself, but considering both California and Florida have huge Hispanic/Latin American populations and fan base, I think they're translating fine. As for AHS, I've said it before, but I can't imagine us getting that property as long as Walking Dead is still being used.
  23. I'm really interested on how they'll handle the effects in this house. The neck spin is infamous.
