  1. Greetings one and all.. A bit late to the party ...Mark it was great seeing you and yours in the park ..Jimmy fun as always... A side note....we were told at the beginning of all of this not to expect any kind of recognition for "Street of the Week" { or Year for that matter) as we weren't a Scarezone ..Not even on the map...We took this as a Challenge not a restriction...in fact ..not being on the map just made it better as nobody knew we were there till it was too late. Challenge accepted and eventually it's ass was kicked. Damien and I started together 5 seasons ago in Acid Assault....we had a blast being reunited on the street this year...I would like to thank all of you for putting us out there..comments from all of you made their way back to us and we used them to improve on a daily basis......Thank you for a fantastic season Be sure to check under your bed.... Shakes
  2. We are MORE than happy to oblige you...
  3. It will...I promise you....it will
  4. and the one BIG question I have is.....are they going to use REAL SAREACTORS.....or the "models"?????
  5. Well...there's always a third reason...mebbee we scare the hell out of some so bad they run through the house and keep the line moving....there's always that.. While I'm here.... a couple of things to say to the general population here....To all of you guys that have come thru the house and enjoyed yourselves....THANK YOU!!!We really get a kick out of seeing that...I've explained to the "Year Ones" to target your t-hirts or for that matter any Rez shirts or Umbrella logos of any kind.....all of you deserve that with the amount of energy you put into this event ..it's the least we can do...however to those of you that wear those same shirts and give us looks of disdain and "What the hell do you think you're doing trying to scare me?" Put a jacket on over the shirt cover it up or move on through...absolutely wear it in the park and advertise this site..that's EXACTLY how I found my way here three years ago.....but don't give any of us attitude because we go after you ...THAT'S WHAT WE'RE SUPPOSED TO DO,,,,and the fact we pay extra attention to those shirts should tell you that we appreciate the ones that make it possible...ok ...back to my sewer..I got a lunch date with an old friend who's hangin around down there....again THANK YOU!!!!!!!
  6. It's Friday. Two full days since 22 ended. By now alot of the sets have been struck and all we have left is fond memories and a few pics that you shutterbugs have most graciously provided.I never made it away from the soundstages to see any of the event , so in that regard , I thank YOU, posters, for describing everything so that I at least had an idea what was going on out there. I read just a few minutes ago someone titled this year the "Year of the Scareactor"If that is how all of you see it then I am truly humbled to be one. However, what you all need to realize is that without you, none of this would be happening.Once again this year I kept up with the boards and used what I read to make things better. The result ? Scareator of the Year Cast B for the House of the Year Gothic( Damn Skippy I'm proud of that)The way I see it ..not too bad for my second year.HOWEVER..NONE of it would be possible without all of you that have let your views be known on these boards. It was most humbling when some of you acknowledged me when coming through the house .This might be just another year to you but for me and the way I look at things it could've been my last . So to ALL of you MZ, Michelle, Mr Black, Justman 1020,Voorhees,Forever56,April,Giorules,Tsunamifox,Cestlavenus,Kiwisoup,Dr.D,Dr. Jimmy, and yes EVEN you Wesker, I give a resounding THANK YOU for making Gothic what it always will be. A once in a lifetime experience that can and never will be replaced or equalled. Now I know there's one person out there who is reading this going "He forgot about ME????" NO, Troiandan, I most certainly did NOT. You, my dear are the one who I looked for EVERY NIGHT I was behind that bell.I thouroughly enjoyed our conversations here and I will always treasure my bottle of Honey Mustard. As well as the Signed Thank You card that was handed to me on the last night. When I'm able, I'll post a pic of where all that went. But rest assured none of it will ever be forgotten. Again , A sincere THANK YOU to all ..and I'm already counting the days...... \The preceeding commentary are NOT the views of Universal or any of it's personell and belong solely to the titled poster.. and who is that ????? Well....
  7. Mr Black I believe you are quite correct...maybe my intentions for this thread are that should anyone from this site be around these"people" they might suggest to knock it off in order to more thoroughly enjoy their run....but aren't we ALL a bit tired of this?..By the By.Mz good to see you in the tower the other night... and by all means feel free to repost this anywhere you want.....
  8. WOW....we are now into week 5 of what is now my second year as a HHN scareactor(nine if you want to count"guest" years)..and tonight I had what some would call " a moment of clarity" ..It has become obvious to me that a large number of people have NO idea how to navigate a house(or "maze") and get the desired effect..which, to me, is to experience something unknown and new, and to leave with your heart in your throat. These sensations should be accompanied by uttering certain verbage such as "HOLY S!@# ! LET'S DO THAT AGAIN!" or "HOW DID THEY DO THAT?????" Now to be fair ,,there are a vast number of HHN Vets that come in and open up the mind so as to gain the desired effect...BUT unfortunately, there are always some that have to go and ruin it for everyone else. The first step in any solution ..is to identify the problem.SOOOO that being said.I offer my observations in the hope of making it better for everyone...and now once again the DISCLAIMER.. The following comments are the sole OPINIONS of the poster and DO NOT REFLECT opinions or views held by UNI . Or anyone else for that matter. In the interest of opening this topic up to everyone...I'm going to start with my top three , and if anyone else decides to read this , feel free to add on your observations. Here we go... #1 THE POINTER....This is the individual who enters the room and immediately feels duty bound to point out every scare in the room. Now I could be wrong, but I don't think any of these rooms were meant ( AGAIN MY THOUGHTS) to be a scary gloomy "Where's Waldo?" hunt . If your powers of observation are that fast and keen , GREAT!!! But please don't blow it by pointing it out for everyone else in the room to see. Some people paid ALOT of money to come in and get the bejeezus scared out of them and after someone points everything out in 5 seconds, that's not going to happen. Also consider that since this is a moving line, the people around this individual wind up going thru an entire house with EVERYTHING pointed out.I certainly don't want to wait 60 plus min in a line for that. #2 THE "STAREDOWN" This one feels the need to get right in the face of the SA after a scare and stair them down usually followed by a "Bowing up" or the utterance of "Your not scary!" There is NOTHING to be proven or accomplished by doing this. The ONLY result of this is holding up the line ...If you're not scared , just move on and feel good about your brave self.. #3 THE STATUS UPDATER OR"TWEETER"....social media is a wonderful thing ...I dare say that it might have a direct result on the constant increased success of the event...but please..WAIT TILL YOU'RE DONE WITH THE HOUSE...I cannot begin to count the number of times I have seen this occurring while going through the house...the result?? Texting...not paying attention ..and then "ROAR!!!!!!" Don't get mad..THIS IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO TO YOU .This winds up with a phone being dropped ( shattered glass screen) or even loss of said phone after it is inadvertantly kicked across the floor..and of course we're not going to leave without the phone so......holding up the line again...... Without a doubt , there are many more..but, dear reader,...I'm gonna leave some of those for you to post.... See you all again ..SOON

It is now 3:25 AM and I have just driven my usual 50 miles to get home..and what am I doing ? READING THIS FORUM...I take (maybe a bit unhealthy) a HUGE amount of interest as to what all of you think about our performances in this house.if there's anything useful then I put it to work the very next time I get behind the bell...so for those of you that pop up here with the "meh" comments..THANK YOU..it's YOU that I'm thinking of as I watch literally trains of Human Centipedes 10 people long RUN top speed through the tower only to not make it once they get about 2 feet from the door.its YOU I think about when I see grown men twice my size jump or even better put themselves on the wall and edge out ..keeping as far away from me as possible...again THANK YOU...you are TRULY an inspiration to me...as for those of you that come through uttering " What the @##$!!!! or ":Man I KNEW HE WAS REAL!!!!" YOU are the reason I drive 100 miles a day for...I NEVER take a day off during the entire run ..You deserve at least that...So keep the MEHs coming ..so that the "What the F@#$!!!!" keep having a blast..... Thank you and good....morning
  10. yep ...and three of those times was on cast" B". I can't say that I "know" you but I do target those shirts....so...to get it straight Chris and "Harry" are to your left in the "closet"(sorry guys). Laz and myself are behind the bell. Same cop came running and or jumping through the tower last night as well..pretty damn funny thing to see at the end of the night.... hmmmm unconcious? No ..but I did get one bad enough that she slammed into the wall and dislodged the "EXIT" sign......
  11. Just Dump some Honey Mustard on them and scream "TAKE THAT BITCHES!!!!!!" should do the trick....

Ahh the wonders of a grand dijoun mustard...we ARE in France afterall ..and I am SUCH a stickler for authenticity.Jimmy it was good to see you in the tower tonight as it is any of you out there. And K ...you are ALWAYS most welcome...thank you all for the kind words and repeated visits ...you have no idea what it means to me to "stack up" to your critiques considering how much longer you've been attending HHN than I have.... Be seeing you all soon
  13. [10:06: I'm pretty sure I had a run-in with a certain bus guarding Nightmare in here. Bell ringer on the right kept staring intently at my poncho, I think he saw the HNN logo there. I nodded at him, he kept staring... then he came around, scared me, and pointed right before I left the room. If that was you, thanks! Yep that was me...good to see you in the tower...see you again soon

While those are very kind words sir, i was not one of the "Forsaken" last year...I was however a psychotic burn victim hanging around a bus with a penchant for dousing certain Heart type organs in Ranch ....You are quite correct in the overall assesment of gothic ..ALL of us(I myself in the belltower cast are extremely fortunate to be a part of that house and we put everything we have every night to ensure you don"t forget it....While I speak only for myself and not the rest of the cast ...your comments are greatly appreciated and will be passed on
  16. the man behind the bell in gothica, pointed at my shirt, Understand ....those aren't Tshirts....they're TARGETS And It seems that I got the desired result...Believe this... I watch these boards NOT for my ego ..but to see how I can improve my performance everynight...you guys spend alot of money every year for this...I certainly don't want to be the one you feel was a waste of it...I'll be seeing you again.....soon Gothic - to the gent in the belltower who fortunately allowed me to pass without any ranch. And the final flyer who always sails just perfectly over my head. High ten dude! Y'know...since everything tastes like chicken these days(including those hearts yer so fond of)..I think I'm switchin up to honeymustard ...conduct yourself accordingly

  20. you my dear are quite welcome...it was a unique pleasure dealing with you and your "hand hearts" . I'm already looking forward to next year....and by the by..I prefer Ken's
  21. Awesome???? I'm flattered but really I was just being me ....kinda warped ain't it? But thanks again to you and everyone else who came thru . I had heard the term "throwaway zone" at the beginning of the event. Just put a bunch of SA's in there and see what happens....They were screaming and running from start to finish....which I do believe was the point wasn't it?So again Liam...thanks much
  22. So now that it's been a week since HHN21 ended, I felt a bit homesick and returned to the park today. I've been going for the last nine years and there's really nothing new, yet today felt totally different. Gone were all of the street props, the House que signs, the t-shirts and blood mugs. I know it was inevitable, yet still...well dammittt..THEY TOOK MY BUS!!!!!!!!Now I've had the distinct priveledge to meet a few of you in person(Mr. and Mrs. MZ, Zeekeeper, Wilbur , Troiandan, and of course you too Max). And I'm quite sure I've chased way more of you around the streets(Dr. Jimmy, dude the Ranch will be on tap next year I assure you.)And for that, I humbly thank each and every one of you. This was my first year as a scareactor, and beleive me when I tell you, in the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing . After continuously referring to all of this boards comments and suggestions , I pretty much had it down by the end. I read this site EVERY NIGHT after getting in at 4am just to get a reaction on how things were that night. If needed , adjustments were made and I truly believe that it made for a better event for all. Those T-shirts .....I'm sorry..those TARGETS...made my night every time one came running by(Yeah Z I'm talking bout you). After going through a few of the latest posts and seeing what a great time everyone had, I felt I needed to acknowledge those from here (wheather they realized it or not)that helped make it waht it was. So I once again send a resounding THANK YOU to 95% of you that came through and made my night.....which now leads me to the other 5%...those of you that wore those shirts and were attempting some kind of humor by getting into scareactors faces and doing the "Yer not scary" stuff..and you know who you are....I'm not going to waste another word on you...Don't have to... and now...the disclaimer.. \The preceeding commentary are NOT the views of Universal or any of it's personell and belong solely to the titled poster.. and who is that ????? Well....
  23. Acid Assault: I love this place so much. I’m considering bringing a real chainsaw next time to take the damn “we ruin everything everywhere we go” chainsaw people out of the picture….. It’s like that Duchamp painting of the Mona Lisa where she’s got a mustache. Like QUIT RUINING ART AND THINKING YOURE AMAZING. God I hate chainsaws. But I love collapsing buildings. Also, +1 piece of the Triforce to the Acid Assault scareactor who stood next to me while I was filming one of the buildings collapsing – not to get a scare but to watch the video =) So march? What exactly did this scareactor look like?Kinda big and pissed off looking? Holding a pipe and wearing combat boots?
