Thanks for the recap that definitely helped. And yea...dont look to the facebook accounts for information. That'll just have you running in circles. I'm still wondering what sort of role Legendary Truth will/might play this year. Has anyone done any research into perhaps any urban legends, folklore having to do with card playing?

I'm really starting to think she'll be involved somehow, especially with the presence of smoke and a charred hand on the website. It could be just a coincidence but when I think fire, I think of Cindy

Even though Cindy appeared last year, that doesn't necessarily mean she'll never come back. Last year was the first year we actually got to see her offically. Perhaps this year could finally be her time to shine. The smoke and the charred hand do seem to point toward our little pyromaniac.

Im just thinking with this theme we have going now, something kind of steam punk related for a house would be really nice. We've had a couple before that had that sort of feel.

Its just wishful thinking.. lol Though something similar to Bioshock could be possible. The underwater theme, circa 1960s

Lets look at all the elements: 1) An Ace of Spades: Seen with Skull and cross bones, symbolizing death 2) Queen of Spades: One eye covered, knife in hand, smirk 3) A chopped off hand: Doesnt look especially fresh but rather recent 4) The presence of smoke 5) A third card, turned over Perhaps our fella with his hand missing may have played these cards which appeared as a bad omen. They represented his doom, death and the killer female.

Im sticking to my theory that our icon will be female. Not "Fate" though. Something more in the cards.. Cant wait to see what

A black widow of sorts. Who kills the men who defy or hurt her (thus the cut off hand). A powerful queen

Luck or the Black Queen in the deck. Either or Id be really excited to see. A really dominating female icon that makes her presence known

I keep thinking of that queen on the home page. Maybe thats significant. Maybe our icon really is a woman. We havent had a lot of female icons. Bloody Mary, the Storyteller and Terra Queen (if she really counts), Cindy (never realized)

I really like that idea. Considering the website says nobody beats the HOUSE. It sounds like the House is one entity, perhaps our icon(s)

I know with the website update we have a hint of Black Jack but the cards really made me think of tarot cards and the characters that dwell on them. I think the possibilities with that could be endless and very interesting.

Ive been wanting literature based houses for awhile. Turning classics into nightmares... Oh I love the sound of it! Kind of makes me think of that classics meets monsters book series, like "Pride Prejudice and Zombies" lol

Most of the time it isn't the kids that are the worst for me (though they can be a real pain), its the drunk adults. Seriously, control your liquor a little. I dont need drunk idiots ruining the event for everyone

I really loved the Hades house last year so I'd love to see them incorporate mythology into the mix again. We have so many legends and folklore we could play off of.

I distract myself with copious amounts of horror movies year round

I always see people smoking in line. A guy in front of me smoked for a good 30 minutes while in line. I'm one of those people that smoke really affects so I was coughing the rest of the night. Its frustrating. I wouldnt mind if they just didnt do it in line. I feel its not considerate of the people very close to their breathing space.

At first, I have to say, this wasnt my favorite house but It soon become one of my favorites and I had to go through several times last night. Cast A: You guys are just purely amazing. After being dragged into my frist boohole last night, HHN will never be the same. It was so much fun! Your cast made my night!
