  1. I don't know Mr. Timeout's status either, but some of his past posts have come to fruition, at least in concept. Some of his recent posts are, indeed, vague, but I feel that he knows more than we think he knows. His posts about looking from the west, but still being able to see and about possibly working for A&D in the future can possibly be supported by his move to California (assuming his location is accurate). Also, his post about an event that focuses on an anniversary far bigger than the event could most definitely refer to Universal Studios Florida's 21st Birthday, which it just had this past week. I know we are entering a New Age of Darkness, but perhaps this significant milestone birthday marks such an occasion for HHN to celebrate. I know the literature idea has been thrown around on these sites for a few years now, but many things, including Universal's classic horror movies and concepts for HHN ideas, come from literature. It is hard to find too many things that don't have roots in books, where author's use their true creative minds to capture either their own original thoughts or stories based on historical events . . . or a combination of both. We have seen this time and again at HHN, where ideas were either directly or loosely based off of movies (and books). And with Emeric's constant reference to literary works, we cannot possibly avoid the significance of his posts to the event. While I still don't understand the full breadth of "the game" to which he constantly refers, rolling dice and taking chances seem to be a common theme. Now, how does USF's 21st birthday, literature, and Emeric's "game" combine to form HHN21, which is the beginning of a NEW Age of Darkness? That's the question at which we should be looking.
  2. I am glad that the Minotaur made the list as I absolutely loved that character! I know the mirror trick is used quite often, but it worked exceptionally well in the Minotaur's lair - it really gave the atmosphere of being lost in the labyrinth. Besides, the scareactor, the costume, and the sound effect made this scene one of my favorite, and most memorable, from this year's event!
  3. Houses: 1) Hades: Gates of Ruin 2) Psychoscareapy: Echoes of Shadybrook 3) Havoc: Dogs of War 4) Horror Nights: The Hallow'd Past 5) The Orfanage 6) Zombiegeddon 7) Legendary Truth: The Wyandot Estate 8) Catacombs: Black Death Rising Scarezones: 1) Fear Revealed 2) HHN: 20 Years of Fear 3) Zombie Gras 4) Saws N' Steam 5) Esqueleto Muerte 6) Chainsaw Drill Team 7) The Coven
  4. One thing about this photo . . . she is completely afraid of Mary Shaw! Ever since the movie and the "Dead Silence" house in 2007, she can't listen to the main theme, ride down the window hallway in the Haunted Mansion, or stand hearing us chant the "Beware the stare of Mary Shaw . . ." phrase. So, this picture was priceless for us!
  5. Your picture is a little clearer than mine was. I still can't figure out what it says, but I do agree with others about the "HELL" part of the writing. I also do believe that this is meant to be there since it seems that the site has changed (no music and that stagnant picture of the portametus completed with the FEAR "star") and since it appears on each LT page, I'm sure it means something. I just wish that we could see the bottom of the writing. But, then again, I guess that would be too easy, right?
  6. Not just that, but there is writing in the bottom right corner of the screen as can be seen in the photo below. I can't make out what it says, but it may very well be a clue for us, especially since it appears as an image on each LT page and the music has stopped on the site. I played the Warehouse Exxperience game again to see if anything changed at the end, but it was the same. I don't go to the event until the third weekend (it's a tradition) and once the event starts I stop reading the threads to avoid any spoilers. However, I figured that the Legendary Truth site was fair game. I noticed this glitch (?) also; or, is it a result of the hijaking. It appears that FEAR has entered the LT website the same time he is revealed at HHN. I think this is a clue, but I cannot determine what the writing says as it appears to be only half of the message. Any ideas?
  7. So, I think it is safe to say that once the five icons were officially put in place and the Collective finally pieced together the photographs to form the portametus, the lantern literally metamorphosized into FEAR himself. Don't we have evidence that this did happen? The official commercial shows a security guard in the Universal A&D warehouse being attacked by the flame that is unleased from the lantern; FEAR himself is ready to take on HHN. LT had been trying to piece together the photographs and when cell director Ryan Richard (assumed to be the guy from the video survaillance image) succeeded, he and Thorncastle disappeared with the Device. His Device (along with the portametus?) may be needed to capture FEAR and end his reign of terror. Don't we know that Richard had possession (or at least knowledge) of the Device since he is a Spirit Seeker and it was being used in the Wynadot investigation. Maybe the Device was removed from the estate and these two men disappeared with it. After all, Thorncastle did have a truck that could hold the Device and any co-conspirators. I don't know much about Goth Wackee, but perhaps TJ is not cooperating on this issue becuase he cannot disclose any information on her since she is Thorncastle's co-conspirator who used to work for Universal's A&D. After all, someone had to have access to the lantern to bring it to Richard in the first place, right? After FEAR was initially released and the three co-conspirators fled, the lantern (along with Richard's belongings less the diary, which he took) was shipped to the LT lab in Princeton for analysis. How will it get back to the event? Or is it no longer needed since Thorncasle, Richard, and Goth Wackee have FEAR captured in the Device? Bottom line, Goth Wackee took the lantern to Ryan Richard, who pieced together the portametus and released FEAR from the lantern (or caused the lantern to metamorphosize into FEAR). They may have realized the importance of Thorncastle's Device and the three of them disappeared along with the Device to ensure the secret of FEAR. Maybe, they will all return on September 24 and re-release FEAR by reuniting the lantern and the portametus (or just the Device, which holds FEAR, at this point) at the Opening Scaremonies of HHN XX. I may not have all of the details sorted out, but I guess that's why we are the Collective, right? We need to collect all of our ideas, share them, and discover the truth! Or . . . the other option. . . . The Device used back in 2008 captured Bloody Mary and she will be needed to combat FEAR since she is his natural enemy. So, Thorncastle and company disappeared with the Device to either protect FEAR or to help destroy it when the time is right? I just don't know who the bad guys are. But this does all tie into the original idea that LT said that Universal could not be trusted and vice versa. Ideas?
  8. On the main page, just after the lantern and Fear intro, there are glimpses of our five significant former icons, either in audio or visual form. Jack's laugh, the Caretaker's voice, the Director's face and camera, the Storyteller's eye, and the Usher's face and flashlight all appear on this page. Also, the lantern's flames, Fear's image, and several images of the houses (probably the parade building) appear if you just wait and watch/listen. This, however, is not new as I did see and hear these things last week.
  9. This could prove that Dr. Jimmy was right with his idea of this house representing the old military bunker on the shores of Cape May, NJ. Did the "beacon" lights appear to be a lighthouse or other markers signifying the building's location to passing ships?
  10. Instead of the bushes in front of the Bass Pro Shop, could the lat/long coordinate simply be refering to the enterance of the mall itself? Someone mentioned that it might refer to the Universal Store inside the mall - I don't live in Orlando, but I checked the mall's website and there is indeed a Universal Store in Zone A of the mall, which is coicidentally (?) next to the Bass Pro Shop. Instead of checking the bushes, why doesn't someone start inside the store. Just an idea. . . . And, again, this wasn't originally my idea as it was briefly mentioned in a previous post.
  11. Did you ever think that either the seed for this year was planted a few years ago or that LT does indeed investigate all areas of "hellish" and paranormal activity? I'm not saying that they were put there specifically for this year's HHN event, but as Dr. Jimmy, and now BSquare, point out, some of our speculations may not have been that far off, codenames aside, based on the new LT update. I think it is understood that whoever "disappeared" found the lantern and didn't know what to make of it at first. Then, the flames began to shine brighter and it began to take over our Earthly world. Do you think that this investigator could be Boris Shuster himself and his place of residence the house on the JAWS ride? Should we also assume that this A&D employee is TJ? And finally, we are asked to look at attached photo images . . . could these be the photos on the actual HHN site? This would rule out the "Photographer" idea, and instead paves the way for a larger investigation, by LT, of the overall HHN20 event.
  12. So maybe our original idea of a Hellmouth wasn't far off, with the exception of the location. Originally, we speculated that one may have been opened in Carey, OH, but now, maybe there have been several that have been opened right here in Orlando, FL. After all, why would LT be interacting directly with Universal A&D if there wasn't a concern that Universal Orlando wasn't about to face Hell, quite literally. I like where this is going and cannot wait to see if our speculation on these, and similar, ideas come to fruition. It looks like "Our time has come!"
  13. There are a total of 14 pictures . . . I don't think this is a coincidence since there are going to be 8 houses and 6 scarezones. My guess is that these three pictures are for the Disaster house and the Spring Tent houses.
  14. Thank you so much for doing that - this is what I was trying to show with my post the other day. Can you do me one favor, please? Can you do the same thing for the other three frames where I claim to see the other images? The blacked out images really make things much clearer to see and I hope that the other two faces, at least, can be seen when you do this. Thanks.
  15. And I too agree in a way. I am not as imaginative as you, but I still see things in that lantern. Unlike any other time, I started to look more at the details here because if they have the Storyteller coming out of a frame that has her glasses, the Caretaker coming out of one that has his pocketwatch, the Usher coming out of one that has his flashlight, and Jack coming out of one that bears an image of a mad (not sad - the image actually shows him mad and sadistic) clown, why would they not do the same for the Director? I do see a face there, but I will leave it at that. The rest was just me thinking that there may have been something due to "wasted space" in the other frames. Again, I am not one to normally search - and more specifically endlessly search - for such details, but I think that the lantern's significance and the images that are already clear caused me to post my earlier comments. As I said, we'll see if my "madness(?)" is justified with a future update.
