I agree even if you did give it to the right department, i wouldn't doubt that they have gotten TONS of it before and have scrapped them even though they do love the fan mail. I like the exclusive feel to the icons that are seen only at the parks and at the same time there was a post here that talked about making the icons movies that be shown around the country and it would spark the peoples curiosity(given they loved the movie and want to dig into their bios of these chars)and find they are found only at HHN then ya it would bring in more people IF the movies are a hit which most people these days can shrug off horror films and let them turn into cheap dvds unrated next to the adult films shelf. Legacy made a better explanation earlier and this sort of junk im just typing this for the people who havent read the other page yet .

Brand new slate this year so its a good chance that will be a no. My only guess that there can be SOME info(most likely no from most of you who have done this for years) at the reunion auditions since who knows a new year,new decade, could be a surprise to vets seeing a hint from there and not digging in the net or getting clues from the workers who are on board with the planning.

could add special actions during certain times of the night where a SZ would have something unique happen in their area that can be like something of a easter egg or perhaps add into a game for LT where you have some pparticular situation go on that works for that SZ or house and if your lucky to see it, it can give a type of clue of where to go find the next event. They wouldnt be SHOW like things just more of something that can stand out for a min or 2 in the SZ that can even be something to do with the main Icon thats manipulating the area (like with mary being in some of the houses every now and then) and it can lead to happening into a house. This would take good communication over those radios and good teamwork with scareactors and their leaders to give the order> It can also be randomized every night so it stays fresh and unpredictable for people who go multiple times. Note: I gotta stop putting these things into the spec thread .

id like a scene where for a zombie SZ you can have a actor dressed as a guest with fake organs and blood packs under the clothing and the zombies would chase this person down(given that the scareactors know their targets) and tackle them down and start ripping them apart and making the blood spill all over which then that actor as a guest will eventually rise as a zombie! Sounds like alot of fun and does have its flaws but fun to imagine. It can be used to make the atomosphere more intense for the time.

Funny thing is i thought about this a few times also. IMO the movie would be a clone of Creep Show where its a series of tales or like krypt keeper just the stories would be all the different houses and they be like 20-40 mins each. Thats the best way i can think of that movie or they just give the icons spinoffs of actual movies but i wouldnt want to risk their popularity being destroyed by potentially making a bad flim.

Love this btw! Can already imagine the front entrance to the park is like going into the tree or a small creepy town and the tree is at the stage where they would do the shows for HHN and the horseman can ride out of it at certain times. It would be sick!

Heres a suggestion for the icon if we have one this year. Could make another female that can bring in those gamblers to their demise when they loose the game that is if the theme will be around choosing paths or luck of some sort. The essence of this theme disguised as a female wouldnt be bad just saying. Only got storyteller and its not like we gotta try HOS used those twins that was a big focus on sex appeal to bring them in but at the same time not make another old witch. She can have the looks no doubt but in a more style where you focus on the matter at hand if anyone can get what im saying. Ill edit this more when i think about it more but throwing that out there just another female icon that keeps the horror in horror nights . (hell she can be a witch that controls the casino idk im trying my best not to make it sound like HOS).

I sat up on it as a Army of Hades guy for a bit. Feels good up there just only got to sit there when it was closing. Would have been kickass to get a Hades on there maybe even make him look like Shao Kahn! Would have been perfect to work with a guy up there so we can make the people feel like it was all over when they entered our room and that they are gunna be dealt with by his personal bodyguards for the finale! boy how i miss that room and Hades overall .

I wonder would it be possible if themes and houses could be based around games? Even though thats not HHN tastes in using rights when they love to make their own fresh ideas just never seen it done and the risk of it being insanely cheesy sure but i had an idea for a Deadspace house. Maybe when i come up with more specifics to the house ill post it and just see some reaction to it.

Runes eh? Ill go with black magic on this one. Its as if it tries to hint at a Harry Potter house which 1. cant happen JK will never allow it and 2. Im just not feeling voldamort as HHN material. Either way it feels like a house with some corrupt magic in it with can deal with many things.

Isnt Construction starting next month judging by those apps for house permits?

/Agree. And seeing that they are starting Construction early, who knows maybe they are gunna show us some big things that can be covered by the admission. Just saying.

When i found out about HHN was when i was about 6. have seen the commercials and people wearing the shirts. It always scared me i was thinking back then i would never do it. Boy how i was a puss . My first time though was Isles of Fear and even then i was little nervous about it since i was forced to go by my parents since they have never done it before and was curious about it. It was a very interesting night seeing that i rode JK for the first time and that was the only thing i sucked it up for other then Maximum Carnage house because Carnage was one of my favorite villians. Ya i was still too whimpy to do anymore houses so just saw all the scare zones and such. Went the very next year and brought a friend and my cousin with me which by that time i did man it up and do more then half the houses(Caretakers house was insane for the last house of the night). The next time i would go i actually have a date and meet up with one of my older cousins for Sweet 16 and tried to make a tradition out of it. I have to say though my favorite year so far has been Carnival of Carnage. Loved the hell out of Dead Silence and god damn Elm Street still takes my vote for best house ive done in all the years. Went to 3 HHNs with my g/f til she became and ex(bleh) which was sweet 16,Carnival, and Reflections of Fear. I went from a little whimpy pansy boy who hated scary things to falling IN LOVE with HHN so much so that I actually worked it the first time in XX. Boy i tell ya the feeling i have when i works this lets just say it made my whole year. I'm making it an effort to work as many years as possible now. What can be more fun then to get paid to SCARE THE HELL OUT PEOPLE!, and make friends with just about everyone who works it! What more should i say? This is THE event to never miss! Now if i can only convince more of my friends to jump in XD.
