  1. Not sure what it means, but Goth herself liked the comment I made regarding the mask. My comment: "I was thinking it kinda looked like one of those masks where no one can see your face, but you can see through it. Like green screen man." It's probably nothing as she also liked someone elses comment that it looks the the same type of mask you're describing, JW. But kinda nifty regardless.
  2. Looking at the cabin in the video Parkscope posted about Mama and our cabin, they are very similar but not the same. The top windows are different.
  3. Especially someone who cries/wails and would smell like decay. Hmmmmmm.......
  4. That is a good question. Maybe we'll go down a cube hallway that's brightly lit, but the cubes will be dark for things to jump out at us?
  5. Well, the clue did say it was a horror "film", so I'm going to assume TWD most definitely won't be revealed first. Unless they're being super lax about what the consider a film as opposed to a television show.
  6. Hoping to be there Sept 27-29 if I can afford it, if not then at least the 29th for sure.
  7. just wanted to say hey! I saw your screen name on your shirt at Louie's on Saturday but was tired and didn't want to bother you. I was also with Macraven from Chainsaw Wolf earlier that evening before Stay and Scream. Nice to kinda meet you, lol.

  8. I got the 2 main shirts and a pin.....and forgot the pin in the bag and left it at my hotel by Universal (at Disney now). FML! I may or may not spend another $10 if they have them at the airport Universal store.
  9. After my weekend my ranking is as follows: 1) Winter's Night: loved the atmosphere, the sets, and the scareactors constantly had me screaming 2) Nightingales: very close race with Winter's Night. Great sets and actors. Only downside was I continually kept missing the guy getting ripped in half. Winter's Night won out cause I love cold, and it was the perfect temperature for me 3) Saws N Steam: more for the concept than the house. I love dystopian future stories, and the Logan's Run/Soylent Green aspects of this house I loved. Scares were hit or miss 4) The Forsaken: absolutely beautiful set. The courtyard scene was amazing!! Scares were good the first few times I went through. The detriment is the glowing eyes that give them away. 5) In Between: awesome effects. On Saturday, due to the rain, I couldn't keep my glasses on, and I actually got more scares with them off than I did with them on, lol 6) Nevermore: great ambiance, scares were there most of the time, I just wanted more from this house 7) HR Bloodngutz: it was a good house. The queue video was better than the house tho. No scares, but I loved the concept and the actors did the best they could. 8) The Thing: I hate to put this last because it was a really good house. I got most of the scares the first time through, and hit or miss every other time. The animatronics were surprisingly effective...most of the time.
  10. ^I was thinking Soilent Green too! I love distopian stories like that! (Soylent Green, The Handmaid's Tale, Oryx and Crake, Logan's Run).
  11. The Horizon reminds me more of Logan's Run than anything else. Especially with what they said about how people go to the machine once they turn 30.
  12. That character has to be from The Black Cat. Only Poe story I know of where a woman gets axed in the head.
  13. Those look cool! I like how they show where the inspiration for the costumes came from!
  14. Wow! This house is sounding more and more awesome the more we find out!! I can't wait!!
  15. Ah, I didn't get to listen to it very well. Recap: Holiday: Larry has a choice of continuing his acting profession by portraying HR Bloodngutz, or going into taxidermy. He chooses to continue acting and then gets fired due to low ratings, goes crazy and kills his manager Nightingales: Edmond has a choice to either stay home and continue the family's dry goods business or join the army. He chooses the army and becomes prey to the banshees after being injured. SnS: No character, but everyone has their choice to enter the machine, which ends in dismemberment according to the warning on the table The Forsaken: The flip of the coin names Columbus the leader. Cabot did have the choice of whether or not to mutiny, and his choice led to him and his crew being stricken from history Winter's Night: Hawthorn and his bride had a choice of 2 properties, and whether from choosing the wrong one or from a cure the spinster they bought it from, his wife takes ill and dies. The Thing: An aircraft has issued a distress call and Air Traffic Control responds by telling them to either land at the Norwegian Research Base or return to the airfield. The pilot unfortunately decides to land at the Research Base... The In Between: Louis (?) has the choice of playing the game or returning it to his professor. He plays the game and is pulled into the In Between
  16. So now with the 2 new back stories: The In Between: Louis (?) has the choice of playing the game or returning it to his professor. He plays the game and is pulled into the In Between The Thing: not sure, lol
  17. Here;s the most current picture of me, my hair may be just a tiny bit longer by the time I get there, lol.
  18. Has anyone pick up on how each of the back stories for the most part seem to present the main "character" as having a choice to make, and the houses being the outcome of their choice? Holiday: Larry has a choice of continuing his acting profession by portraying HR Bloodngutz, or going into taxidermy. He chooses to continue acting and then gets fired due to low ratings, goes crazy and kills his manager Nightingales: Edmond has a choice to either stay home and continue the family's dry goods business or join the army. He chooses the army and becomes prey to the banshees after being injured. SnS: No character, but everyone has their choice to enter the machine, which ends in dismemberment according to the warning on the table The Forsaken: not sure about a choice presented, but the flip of the coin names Columbus the leader. Just what I've noticed so far. Which houses do we have left to get back stories for? The Thing and Poe? Oh, and The In Between.
  19. I wonder if they'll somehow use the multi-colored rooms from "Masque of the Red Death"? Or at least the black room with the red windows would be kinda cool
  20. Re-read a couple of the stories that will/rumored to be in the house, and I can't wait. I'm really hoping they do put at least part of Masque of the Red Death, maybe with the different colored rooms?
  21. This reminds me. I was readin on wikipedia over the weekend about The Thing (both old and new), and I found out it was based on a book. The book actually begins with them finding the spaceship and pulling the thing out of there still frozen. So at least this new movie will still be somewhat true to the book with that part. Great clip BTW, thanks for posting it JW!
  22. I love the backstory for the SNS house. It makes me think of Logan's Run and Soylent Green, but with Steampunk lol.
  23. I love the backstory for the SNS house. It makes me think of Logan's Run and Soylent Green. I love dystopian futures!
