  1. I have to agree with you JW.. 2008 was just awesome. The creativity on this was just outstanding. And I LOVED Bloody Mary. I remember being a kid and going to sleepovers where we'd dare each other to do the Bloody Mary thing. I remember one particular sleepover where we all slept in the basement, and we took turns going into the basement bathroom (extra dark) with a flashlight held under our chin and calling for Bloody Mary. I realize this little game can play some psychological tricks on you (especially if you're 12) and that's the point, but I swear I saw a flash of light in the mirror, and I ran out of there so fast! So, Bloody Mary has always scared the shit out of me, and I was thrilled to see her as an icon. It's one of my fave HHN shirts, too. There is just something extra wicked creepy about taking a tame children's tale and twisting it into something horrifying. I mean, look at what Stephen King did with a clown!
  2. Nicely done! I LOVE how you got the classic monsters in there, too. I assume that was from the Lagoon show? Never did get to see all of those. <sigh>
  3. I was told I screwed up and made my video private. I fixed it now. Hope some of the actors here made it on to the video.. i know there was one actor for sure that I filmed that as he walked away said "Hope I see that on Youtube".. well, here ya go then
  4. I'm sorry.. told you I don't do this often.. jeez.. try this http://youtu.be/N3ucERK88Rc
  5. FYI all.. I just uploaded our HHN 22 video to YouTube finally. I posted the link in the HHN 22 thread on pics and videos. I hope you all enjoy.
  6. Ok everyone.. I finally edited down the video we created for HHN 22.. it's a mix of video footage and pictures. It took a long time to edit because we had hundreds of pics and such. It's the first attempt we made at trying to capture video as well as pics.. and I'm VERY new at playing with iMovie, so be kind. If you were an actor at this event, you may see yourself.. we have LOTS of different pics and video of every group. I hope you enjoy.. just watching this again made me miss it.. and my fave.. the Iniquitus.
  7. Thanks for posting this.. it was entertaining and interesting for sure. But, of course, after watching the whole thing, my first thought was "How the hell does one get a job like 'Haunt Supervisor'???"" Man, I would love to have a gig like that - some behind the scenes stuff where you think about Halloween and scaring people shitless all day long.
  8. Wow.. for the most part <yawn> Sad that nothing looks really promising.
  9. I don't know JW.. that was a pretty amazing take on what the house could be. We saw the movie over the weekend - and all of us (four) discussed on the way home whether we thought Uni could make a house from that movie. We thought no.. however, after reading your ideas.. well, I think it could work. I'm duly impressed.
  10. EDIT: Before Chris calls me out on it. If there was a promise of eye candy in leather pants, I would have to stop and watch Death Drums at least once to get my required dosage. I would have no issues with this.
  11. Holy mother of god.. that show looks AMAZING. I'd LOVE to see that at HHN! Even if they had to adjust and change some stuff up a bit, who cares? That would be so PERFECT. Wow.. I mean, just WOW.
  12. I hope like hell they have another ghost/haunted house. Those are my favorites every, single year! To me, that IS Halloween.. a "haunted house". Plus, Winter's Night and Dead End were spectacular (I thought).. beautifully executed and a true feast for the senses. If you're talking about a list for something based on the Shining.. let's not forget the creepy twin girls! One last thing on King.. did you guys see the video I posted where I got to ask King himself about doing HHN? Yeah, he blew off the question pretty much, but I asked it!
  13. Ryan, you've got some real talent, my friend
  14. FYI - the link you have posted to get to the LT FB page is broken. I went and found it on FB by searching for it. Once again, thanks for the info guys. While I may not post a lot, I love to read here because I have learned so much (and continue to learn). You guys rock!
  15. I think the idea of a makeup show is a good one. I realize very elaborate makeup takes hours. However, we get our faces "painted" every year by some really talented people at HHN. I've given up choosing an already designed "face" off the boards, and I tell them - just be creative. We've gotten some of the coolest make up that way. This past year, I had 4 different random people/groups ask to have their picture taken with me. For the record, the makeup that was apparently so appreciated took about 15 minutes. At the Arcane Insights Tour, I asked TJ why they didn't have the Horror Makeup Show running during the event. I mean, of ALL THINGS - you'd think they'd run that! He said he agreed, but the actors who do the show apparently don't want to do extra shows that late.. or something along those lines. I'd love to see an alternate version of HMS for HHN. Using volunteers would be cool. I hope Horror Unearthed comes back. I realize there were glitches, but it was FUN. If HU doesn't come back - then some variation of it. I also wish for a better website. Not only that, but a better website SOONER. It seemed like it took forever last year to get anything of substance. I would think the website is the perfect vehicle to amp up the talk and suspense of the event.. the sooner the better. ENGAGE people with games and creepy themes, etc.. That is the kind of thing that gets me more into it than ever. I'll be going to see Mama this weekend. I would like to see for myself if the movie will be as good as the hype. God help us all if it turns out like "The Devil Inside" where the best part of the movie was the trailer. If Mama lives up to the hype - I'll get on board the wishful thinking for a house based on it. Before you think to comment on this, Wesker - let me say ahead of time, I already know the roadblocks associated with what I'm about to say, but I'm going to say it anyway because this is WISHFUL thinking.. I would love, love, LOVE to see Stephen King and Uni working together for something truly unique and awesome. Who better to scare us all shitless than the Master himself?
  16. Wait, what?? What about the blue lights?? I LOVE THE BLUE LIGHTS.. tell me you're just messing around. I think Walking Dead should return.. why not? I do NOT want any more Alice Cooper though.. for the love of god and everything holy, reitre that sucker already.
  17. I love this! I am just bummed I ran out of time (or forgot some days) to play enough to get all those pieces emailed to me. I hope it doesn't matter. These completed puzzles are very interesting. It would be so brilliant for A&D to have some form of game all year. That would NOT piss me off..
  18. This is me in the pic.. probably my fave pic I have of the 460 pics we took
