  1. One scare zone definitely worries me. We've been down that road once before and it wasn't pretty. I have a hard time believing they'd try that again. Maybe it's one zone that's stays up, and the rest will be movable props? Who knows. HHN is a huge event, they market it as being big, new, and original. People rave over the scare zones. Just doesn't make sense for them to drop the ball like that.

  2. Being a fan of Silent Hill myself, I have to say that I'm excited to finally see Silent Hill come to HHN. I think it's perfect for HHN. I'm also excited to see a DE styled house, since it was one of my favorites from 08 and I thought it was really intense. As for the roaming sz spec, I honestly doubt it. As said before there are enough locations, and I'm pretty sure they were disappointed with them back in 07 just like we were. The main problem they have is that you can't have roaming sets, really.

One thing I'd like to see is maybe some longer zones, or just extended zones. The canyon zone last year was just way to short for me and I believe they could have brought it out more on both sides of the zone to make it better.

  3. The twin idea would be interesting. Kind of like Howl O Scream, except maybe a little cooler :P I thought about HHN today for the first time in a while. I saw Silent House and it got me thinking of house ideas (Silent House would be a perfect house). I don't know why but the movie got me thinking, has HHN ever done just a pure "terror" house? Like a home or something that just has a ton of crazy shit happening and there's not really an explanation as to why it's there and happening. Houses don't necessarily have to have a beginning, middle and end in the story. Sometimes the unknown is scarier.

I don't know I just thought it was an interesting thought. :P

  4. Even though this zone isn't my favorite this year, Nightmaze isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Many of the actors were giving it their all the nights I went. They really do blend in well with the black. Got a few good scares while walking through. I wish that they had something that could make noises though.

  5. One of the two houses I wasn't crazy about. Sets were incredible, but the costumes seemed very repetitiveness and for me the scares were just eh. Not a horrible house at all, just wasn't really up there for me.

  6. I was there Friday and Saturday. Lines weren't bad. We got there before the park opened and once we were in we got almost all the houses finished in less than 2 hours. Later on in the night, though, some got bad. The houses in the sound stages never got above 45 for us, while all the houses in the back of the park were usually between 45-90.

  7. Did anyone else get told to leave a scare zone? Because I did. I was taking pictures with my D90 in Lady Luck's zone and I was told to leave, and then in Grown Evil one of the security guys told me to leave and to stop using flash when I clearly wasn't (I spent five minutes in front of this guy, literally). Anyways, not the best year for pictures, and it was pretty crowded when I was getting shots but I got some good ones I think. Just a little disappointed on how I was treated while I was in zones getting shots. I also made sure I wasn't in the way, I stood in a corner or against a wall/gate when I was taking pictures.

  8. Possibly the scariest house of this year I think. Very well done, and really intense. The first time through was great. Actors and actresses were very energized and crazy. Loved the ripping scene, and the scene where there's a monster in front of you and then another to your right. Literally scared the shit out of me. Although, I will say, one of the casts literally, for the most part, sits and looks at you. It's like night and day between the two, and it certainly wasn't just the one time we went through because we did this house numerous times. Not sure why they're so boring and not into their roles.

Overall this house is awesome. Very, very well done.

  9. Possibly one of the most insane houses I've ever been in at HHN. My group and I did it numerous times, we all agreed it was one of the best houses this year. The scareacters were always giving 100% it seemed. Literally had me jumping and screaming left and right. Truly unique and intense experience. It's almost like the the idea of DE and made it ten times better.

One thing though. I didn't see the no floor effect. Where was it?

  10. I have another question.. Two, actually.

We're doing the scream early, and I was wondering where the holding area(s) are/is? I did it one year and we stayed outside where In-Between is. Can we still stay there are did they move it? Also, can I bring a backpack to hold my camera stuff?

  11. This house is a big hit this year. Everyone I've talked to from school has said, "If you go, make sure you get into the In-Between". Keep up the great work guys! Can't wait to experience it in two weeks.

  12. Hey guys quick question. When is the week thats considered to be Hell week with the most crowds? Cus I'm going again on the 8th and was wondering how crowds should be on that weekend. Thanks!

Shouldn't be that bad. I believe Hell Week starts on the 14/15. But even then you can get everything done. I do know a trip is going to be there on the 15th, so expect a group of kids that night. Shouldn't be too big of a deal though.
