No house has a ceiling due to fire hazards I think. You never really notice it though.
also, I know it's unlikely, but if the wood things had plexy glass over it you could walk on it.. Lighting it from below would be sick.

According to what other members have said, there will not be any movie houses this year.
I should have said "based off of" . It's been said before.

I have to agree... It just seems so right. The facade looks very similar to the buildings in the movie... I think it'll be fun!

Jimmy, I think your on to something... Could it be our icon is some type of school official or figure? Maybe no icon at all, instead maybe the event Is the result of a ritual. A party at a sorority turns into a ritual to get the ultimate Halloween experience? But the guests get more than they bargained for and end up bringing back old and new horrors from the shadows.

Disaster is probably a garage.. There isn't much else it could be. The question is what KIND of garage?
The tent looks very house like, it almost even looks like a church. Things are getting better and better as the days pass!

Hardcore scooby house would be epic and scary. Set in a classic old haunted house, with the monsters after you... I hope one day they do it

As far as houses I think the Jaws que is equally on par with a lot of the houses. I know I was in it, but Saw was good, the same for F13. I don't think Bloody Mary failed because of the Jaws que it just had execution issues. I think that Universal has a really good gauge of what does and doesn't work in Jaws and Disaster.
As far as lines, Jaws will continue to have a some what longer wait than most of the other houses and that is due to proximity. It's right beside Bill and Ted.
Very true. We've have 2 pretty decent houses there... Though, I still hated RoF... IT just didn't work in my opinion. It wasn't very detailed either. It's a bad place for houses that require a grander scale. It worked for F13 because F13 didn't really require much, and same thing for Saw. Plus, the building adds to the theme.

Thank you, someone finally appreciated our house :-) Unfortunately when the creatures didn't fit, they cut them all up and put them in random areas of the house, and the one creature we did have was a HORRIBLE costume to wear. It hurt so bad and I for one would actually turn down a role for HHN if they offered me that one
Darn... Oh well. Maybe we'll see some monster similar in the future.

This has nothing to do with anything that's being speculated, but the picture of the octopus on the previous page reminded me of a past house that didn't get to live to it's highest potential. Creatures! was an awesome house, and an awesome idea. But due to the fact that the monsters were so big we never actually got to see many monsters... I'd like to see those monsters some how be used. Doesn't have to be in the same house, but I think they deserve some use. They were really cool costumes! It seems like such a waste to just never use them.

The Terra Queen was supposed to be the icon for XV, but we all know how that went down.
There are also minor icons/characters in different houses/zones/shows from over the years, such as Samhain from RoF's Hallow, Meety Meetz from last year's Leave It To Cleaver, Nightmare from Islands of Fear's Lost Continent zone (I forget the name of it), Darkness from Sweet 16's Arrival show, Chance from CoC, etc.....

Those characters are "shadows" of past characters in a way, kind of.

Now that I really think about it, I wouldn't mind seeing Scream House back... It was the first house that introduced me to HHN on the Art of the Scare... I never got to experience it. Scream House is like the "Classic" HHN house for me, for some reason.

Maybe a Helmet house that is completely dark, and the scareactors have the helmets, Ala My Bloody Valentine!

Can we never get a 3D house.. Like ever again? Jacks fun house was HORRIBLE.
I don't really want a helmet house either... It's not really that great unless you have the helmet. That's why Dead Exposure was so great.

I'd like to see Sting Ally make it's return. They need to extend the scare Zone in New York so Sting Ally can be used.

I prefer original as well, but, I would like to see Demon Cantina, Hellgate Prison, and the original PUTS.

I personally think that we will see everything new (house and SZ wise). No "Fangoria", no movies. All universal, all new.

MMMU - We don't get current movies every year. It's just these past years we have.
I'd like to see no movie houses at all this year. I'm kinda tired of them. I like houses that you walk into and it's totally new to you.

The AREA for harry potter could be used. We don't need a house or SZ themed after Harry Potter. The area could be used for something else with a different theme.
