  1. I normally don't have much of a problem, but this year I had a BIG problem with someone. My 12 year old brother came with us this year. This was his first year attending, and he was loving it and taking it like a champ! We went through Havoc, and he's screaming and having a good time.. But at the end he got a GREAT scare and ran into this guy ahead of us by accident. The guy turned around, got up in my brothers face and yelled him, telling him to stop. He was smart enough to run off as quickly as he did, because my uncle and I were ready to rip the guy a new one.

If you don't like be pushed and shoved a little, don't come to the event at all. You're walking through haunted houses that are meant to scare you, people are gonna run into you. It's part of the experience. That's really the only thing I had a problem with this year.

  2. Not the scariest... But definitely had some memorable spots such as the hands on the bars, the panic button, and the guy in the straight jacket from "What's your breaking point". I really enjoyed walking through. Though, I felt like some of the actors weren't utilizing their area, such as the hall right before the panic button with the doors. I wanted you guys to open the door suddenly and scare us, but every time I went through, the scaractor was just standing there in the door way.

  3. If you hit this house at a good time, you'll get AMAZING scares. They are just EVERYWHERE. I got so many scares in just the first few rooms! Insane. The second Medusa actually got my to scream (only house that got me to do that in a long time). Great effects as well. The vibrating floor was neat, as well as the mirror gag. I have to say, the Throne at the end needs to be filled with Hades himself.

  4. One of the best (if not the best) houses in the Jaws queue for me. The ashes falling outside really set the mood, and the house was SCARY. I got many scares, and the fire was awesome. I liked the scene where the kid was climbing on the rope above you. Very nice house, and the final was great. Also, whoever is screaming in the part where the kids are in the cages, you scared me my first walk through pretty kid.

  5. Though this house was neat to look at, and is cool.. I have to say this house was the weakest this year for me. I know a lot of you loved it, but I got maybe one or two scares at the end. For starters, the rooms were way to recent for me to enjoy.. I mean, I was expecting older scenes from houses from the past. This was all scenes from houses that were generally in the past three years. There were a few from a while back, which I liked, but there were only a couple. The Dead Exposure part was just not good at all... There shouldn't have been anything on the walls, and there should have been a roof over that scene to make it dark (I could see everything in that scene). There was also no camera sounds or anything in that room. Just overall disappointing. And the sad part is, this was my first house, and my first house is always the scariest, and this just didn't do it for me :/

  6. GREAT house. I hit this house at the most perfect time my first walk through. I got almost every scare. The effects were awesome, especially the floor and wall ones. The char scared my shitless. Wasn't expecting that one. Overall great house, and in my opinion has the best atmosphere.

  7. I have to hand it to you guys and gals in this house. You all have AMAZING energy. I have to say my second run through was better, but I was lucky enough to see the cast change while standing in line for Catacombs, which was awesome because you guys did a small show. Very nice. You all have awesome energy.

  8. I like how this house starts off slow, but gets faster and scarier as you progress. I actually ran out of the house because of a certain some one with an alarm or something at the exit. I love you man, you scared me and my friend good ;)

  9. This house caught me off guard MANY times. The guy from above was really great. I have to say though.. The house was bright, even at night. I wanted it to be darker. I could see where scare-actors were gonna come out. Overall though, great house, and great scares. You guys work really hard in there.

  10. Anyone going to the autograph session for the guys from Ghost Hunters this Thursday...??? Do you have to bring something for them to sign or will they have something there...??? Anyone know...???

Although I'll be doing houses instead, I'm sure you can bring a picture or some item for them to sign. The plastic pouch of a lanyard would be a good thing for them to sign.

  11. Actually, back in the day, they used to pulse their houses through the majority if not the entire event. Pulsing is great because it makes the house experience better, but it KILLS wait times. When the event gets more crowded in the coming weeks, I'm sure they're going to go back to the conga lines, but when the event is slow I'm pretty sure they're going to pulse their lines. The GP doesn't know what pulsing is and they don't really pay attention to how crowded the park is. If the wait time is 45 minutes, they'll wait the 45 minutes assuming it's just really busy. And when they get in that house, they'll notice how much better it is when they can move a little more freely, which gives Universal better reviews.

I personally don't like it. I just like going through the houses as much as possible. But a lot of people prefer it, and it does make the houses better imo.

I should have specified that it was done a while back. But the event has become so big, and the crowds are huge. I want to go in the houses as many times as possible since I only have three nights there. I like pulsing of the lines, just not at HHN.Standing in line for 45 minutes isn't fun when they could just let people walk in.

Now, I don't mind if it were for only LT, or something. LT needs to be timed right, which is understandable.

  12. No, Universal prefers pulsing because that is how the houses are intended to be done. Congo lines wear out the performers and cause logistical problems (such as clogged rooms which can endanger both guests and scaractors), and the only advantage is the line moves quicker. Houses like Legendary Truth are specifically designed to be timed correctly with good pulsing. I know I've complained about congo lines in surveys, and plenty of HHN regulars would like the time to admire the details of the house. Now they can because they won't be pushed by the people behind them. How they are sending people through the houses has nothing to do with Alone, and instead is probably in reaction to guests surveys and the desires of members of the HHN fan-community.

No offence, but they've always done conga lines. It's what works for HHN. The crowds are just to large to manage. I highly doubt it will last the event.

  13. But if you look at the pictures on the previous page, WHY would it be 21 and up? Why can't miners attend? Michele said there wasn't even a place to buy drinks there. Even if there WAS alcohol being served, what's the difference between that and all the beer vender's in the park? Really, you're loosing money. I mean, If you offer it to both older and younger fans, you're gonna get more cash.
