  1. Definitely wasn't pointed entirely at you, there were a few people upset and I just found it silly. She got it from multiple sources so I don't think anyone should have gotten upset, but I can see why. No bad blood here, hope there's none from you, I was just stating my thoughts. Yea, the two images is kinda throwing me off. I'm wondering if those were two possible billboard type ads? I dunno, I don't see billboards for it where I'm at so I don't know if they use just one image for all billboards or if they spice it up. I agree with the follower about the cheesy feel of the usher and the pictures, but I like it. It makes me think of the horribly amazing B horror movies. Wasn't Dr. Holmes saying there was going to be a "mascot" this year and not an icon? I thought I remembered him drilling that into our heads on these board. *rubs chin* Hmmm.
  2. It was ridiculous how upset some people got over you post the house list all at once, even though it was being posted one by one at the Vault. *shakes head* It's a shame that you can't post inside stuff even though you're getting it from a few different people.
  3. I see what you're saying F.U.B.A.R. and I can see that working. Maybe I'm just being too critical about this since I'm not a huge fan of Saw. And Matt, how could they have thrown her into a pit of real syringes? Needles still on and everything? I hate to be ZOMG SOURCE!!! But I'm quite curious about this and would like to know where you got that info.
  4. That would be neat, but then how would they set up the elaborate traps that Saw is known for? Unless they get scareactors to dress like "normal" people and then they act like they were just thrown in there...This is a tricky house to think about how it would work.
  5. Geppetto makes me think more of Saw than anything else, since Jigsaw is wood and all.
  6. Well dang. I go away for like...30 minutes to walk through a park and I come back and this all happened. Of course I miss the codes with the house names. Anyway you could PM them to me Moonfall, or anyone else that has them? *bats eyelashes*
  7. You also forgot to say they are clogged with 3rd graders saying they know stuff about the event, but aren't telling.
  8. Out of those 4 idea's the only one I would hate would be Stephen King's. I'm definitely not a King fan, so that would suck. But the others sound awesome. I could see Jill coming back whenever Jack and Chance get married.
  9. I'd like another Hellgate, PUTS, Psychoscarapy, All Nite Die In and RUN, because I always hear people rave about them and I didn't get to experience them. Another TCM would be awesome, that house scared me senseless and I ran out in a panic attack and crying. Haha, loved it. I'd like to see the Fright Yard scarezone come back too, that was badass.
  10. I go there for both, although more for the scares. The even scares me over and over and every year I've gone. I love the scares I get there!
  11. Well just playing around with that e-mail I think "doll" would mean Saw, and "hairy" could be werewolf. Haha. Even though it could mean nothing, it's still fun to have things to think about.
  12. Haha, I got all excited when I got mine and started freaking out and told my boyfriend. He understand my obsession, but my other friend had no clue why I was so excited. I can't wait to get actual info.
  13. I completely and totally agree with this. I definitely have confidence in what A&D can come up with, I just hope we get good scareactors.
  14. That's what a lot of people are saying and what it's looking like if this is really who they are bringing in. If it's just a bunch of random movies with no tie in other than horror I can see that being "off". I just hope that whatever they do that it doesn't turn out being bad. Everyone's talking about how big next year should be, and if this year's bad then they might not have a big turnout for 20, and that might make 21 bad. I'm getting way to ahead of myself though haha.
  15. Yea, I mean take it with a grain of salt, but it's still nice to have something to chew on instead of the word "classic" and possible Saw interaction.
  16. This was posted at the Vault by jakemeister: "Hold the phones I actually have news. Background: My best friend works at Hot Topic. As you guys know Hot Topic sells HHN tickets. He has been an employee for over a year now and I would trust him with many other things and believed him when he called me. About 5 minutes ago he called me and I said "The Universal ticket sells rep lady blah blah came in. She and my manager were re-newing the contract to sell tickets at our location in 2009. On the way out I asked her if she could tell me anything about HHN this year. She told me Saw, Wolfman and Chucky." I normally would dismiss something like this. But this was A. My Best friend. B. The lady got 2 out of 3 all but confirmed things dead on. C. Chucky is a Universal property and has been used as recently as 2007 at the Hollywood Horror Nights. I know this isn't fact but this just seems plausible. I'm not taking this with a grain of salt but it's not confirmed in my eyes either. At this moment to me it seems like Chucky could be back at Horror Nights and if that is true the Movie Theme is confirmed." I covered up the information she told him because I know some people don't want to know and I'm just being cautious. This guy doesn't seem to just be saying this to screw with people, so I figured I'd post it here too.
  17. I just don't know if they would see it as enough extra money to go through the process of making them. Because I know there are a lot of people on here and on the vault that would buy it, but what about the general public? They would probably think about that too, because if only a minority will buy it then I don't think they would even bother. I think they should no matter what though, because this would be a kickass book.
  18. I agree with both of you on what I'd like to see in it. I would be very interested in seeing all the "making of" details and house pictures. I think this would be an amazing book to have. Maybe a bio and background of all the icons and mascots that we've had, along with pictures.
  19. Thanks for the link. Last year I remember them having the Resort News at the top and then if you scrolled down it went to Halloween Horror Nights News, does that just happen when it gets closer to HHN? The first year I went it was at IOA and then the next time it was at Uni. I liked it at either park, but it would make more sense to keep it at Uni since they are opening the new ride.
  20. A little off topic, but could you give me a link to the screamscape for HHN? I had it last year and lost it and when I tried looking for this year either they didn't have anything about HHN yet or google didn't have the link.
  21. Ugh!!! I wish there was information out now! I'm so damn impatient and it really stinks. I heard people one the Vault saying that we'd get information probably in June, and in my excitement I forgot about the month of May and thought that after April would be June.
  22. I agree Skittles. I like knowing early the houses because it makes me super excited and pumped for HHN, and the website updates. It's just a nice little treat.
  23. That walk through video looked pretty badass, and that is making me a bit more excited about a possible saw house. I really want to go to that California attraction now though. Haha.
  24. I'm not going to lie, I came here from one of your posts on the vault. You mentioned the wedding, and then put a link to here. I've been around the vault enough to know that what you say has grounds to it so I came here to check it out. I'm definitely glad I did.
  25. First off, I already like aspects of this place more so then the vault. Less drama it seems, or maybe I have yet to find it here. Anyways. I'm not hot about this SAW idea, I don't know how it's going to be a great house, I'm not sure how they will make it work or anything. I also never went through Run, so I don't know what they did there. I don't want this to be a mostly atmosphere house, if it is a house, simply because when you are going through houses in the midst of HHN, most people don't stop and look at all the detail. I agree with what someone said either here, or on the vault, they tend to waste so much money on detail that never gets really looked at. But whatever is done, I hope they do it well, and I wish them luck. And I'm going to say that I still get the crap scared out of me. I guess I am what you would call an easy scare, I mean you can just pop out at me and I will freak out, but I still get scared. I remember going through Texas Chainsaw house, that scared me horribly. Chainsaw guys make me bolt the other way, and that house was bad. I actually RAN out of the house having a panic attack and crying. But I loved it. I wanted to go back through. Last year still gave me some great scares, but most of the scareactors just didn't seem like they were really trying. So I can kinda agree that they seem to be going more for the art and being able to say they worked there, then really trying.
