  1. Not that particular story but the idea. I feel that the clue is pointing to Tales
  2. I agree with you Legacy 'Tis wise to avoid cemetaries by night, Lest one should encounter the dreaded blue light. Reminds me of Christmas as far as language goes. Here is The Blue Light by the Grimm Brothers LINK ( Fairy Tales ) - Disaster maybe
  3. 1. Another word for talk is count as in telling your account of things, or tales. 2. I didn't take anything apart just highlighted the same occurrences in the the clues. If there is an Icon which I feel that Lady Luck would fit the bill. She would be a sort of teller kind of person like Elsa Strict. We will view her history in the form of a walk through of tales, or misfortunes of others via the Mazes. ROF perhaps? Just throwing it out there to discuss. Some here may expressed their discontent when others like me post things like this, so I my intent is not to fuel an argument. Just thinking out loud if you will.
  4. Clue #1 In heaven, the three with whom I would talk? Eoin Colfer, Steve Jobs and Peter Falk. Clue #2 One stands to lose their body's bounty, If they return to God's Own County Clue #3 The midnight hour does not deter me, I always count on Floyd and Nurmi. Clue # 4 'Tis wise to avoid cemetaries by night, Lest one should encounter the dreaded blue light.
  5. In the world of Haunted Attractions and Entertainment, there is no "competition" especially when designers, writers, artist, to name a few bounce around from place to place. I have worked events that take place outside of the US with the same names, characters, and locations as some here. As a matter of fact every year BGT / HOS design team visits USO / HHN and USO / HHN visit BGT / HOS. And it all happens while the GP is screaming their heads off and having fun. At one point or another people from all sides of the Haunted Attractions business have worked with or for someone in a neighboring haunt. So they much like myself don't see it as "sinking low" its more of a study group. Tell me if Horrorwood sounds familiar? LINK And then take a look at my portfolio to see who wrote it. LINK I built the maze in 3D for the attraction as a form of Pre-vis. So you never know who is working where.
  6. I was already told, here in this thread that I was wrong for thinking that. Kind of kills the fun of the Speculation thread if every thing is dead set.
  7. I was under the impression that we already were.
  8. Interesting Best place to hide something is in plain sight. I am curious as to the next clue. Plus there are others here that far surpass my mental ability to decipher the clues, so I'll just wait and read what they post.
  9. Unless all clues share something in common. Does anyone find it odd how clue 1 is phrased as a question? Kind of like an interview.
  10. Totally eclipsed by this clue. However campy Vampire Host Maze?! I'm in!
  11. More than you think, and more than A&D like as well. Best house is matter of opinion. However being that most if not all of A&D members enjoy classic horror films I would venture to guess that they like Assimilation being there.
  12. I know people all around are upset about the Thing maze so I will add my two cents for whatever it's worth, and I know it is not much so here we go. As for The Thing being a rehash, I feel that it won't be, or better stated they are not treating it as such. The Thing Assimilation was directly related to the film as we all know, and we know the films location. With this maze ( The Thing ) is a different film altogether. New film, new maze. So I wouldn't call it a rehash just because of the title. It is not The Thing revised, revisited, 2, etc. Members of A&D did in fact say that they would stray from films. However they too have to answer to someone and to make a long story short, you have The Thing. Plus imagine yourself answering the same questions again and again. I grow tired of watching them answer them over and over and see the pain in their faces. So they go with the generic answers. Also someone here predicted the coming of Wolfman before it was announced and strangely enough we had for the first time ever a maze before a film release. Universal saw the success of such actions and felt that it makes marketing sense having people walk through the " Film ". thousands of people, walked through and saw the film. I personally don't like to debate as they can turn all shades of ugly so I by no means am trying to stir up the thread, I am just stating what many feel and won't say. We all love the event, and mazes based on Universal Horror films are great for the parks. So love it or leave it but in the end it is about choices, people will never be satisfied with everything all the time. I love the idea of The Thing maze as I can't wait for the film as well.

  16. Do we know that the hint is to a Maze?
  17. I was thinking more along the lines of S&S only time will tell if we get more.. Say one for each Maze? That would would need to happen to be sure. I hope we don't go the Vampire route. Being that most of the staff is a True Blood fan along with so many others, I fear they just might include a Vamp Maze.
