  1. I just don't believe that rumor at all, but you never know. To bring some speculation back, we can confirm 3 houses. Chucky, SAW and Wolfman, then we guess that Frankenstein and Dracula could be another two from reading the press release. I say guess and could due to the fact that it just says they will be part of HHN. So if we say those are 5 houses, that leaves 3 more. What do we have left over? We have the following names floating around. Silver Screams/Screen Leave it to Cleaver The Spawning Army of Darkness Cirque De Freak Will Frankenstein and Dracula have there own house, or be part of Silver Screams? If so, that leaves the 5 above names to all be possible houses. If they get there own house, then what 3 out of the above will we see? Could some be Scare Zones? If I had to choose 3 of the above, I'd go with Leave it to Cleaver, The Spawning and Silver Screams (if its an ANDI style house).
  2. Freddy vs. Jason? What? Credit: Screamscape I'm not sure where this is coming from, as I haven't seen anyone talk about it anywhere. You would think if they had plans for Freddy and Jason again they would be promoting that heavily since I think it would draw more people than Chucky or the Wolfman.
  3. The HHN 19 Media Site is now live. http://media.universalorlando.com/halloween/
  4. I agree, the newest set of code names are ones from the permits. I think SAW and Wolfman should be in Sound Stages, since to me are the biggest draws. Wolfman being UNI's big movie coming out in November, and HHN could be good hype for it, and SAW being a huge franchise that UNI Paid the rights for. I'm sure they will throw a house in the JAWS queue that should be in a Sound Stage though, like last year.
  5. Drew Thomas who played Dr. Panetti (sp?) and Erin Cline who played Chance in Jack's Carnival of Carnage at Halloween Horror Nights 17 were on last week's (repeated tonight) episode of America's Got Talent. He is an Illusionist from the Orlando Area. They got 3 yeses from the judges and have moved on to Las Vegas. Erin is not his wife, she is the one on the far left. You can read more about Drew Thomas at: http://www.drewthomas.net http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAJEF6yY8ik
  6. I would love to see a Children of the Corn Scare Zone. If they made it a big enough area where they could do a fairly good sized corn field that you walk through.
  7. Well if you look at the second coded list there is no mention of a Fangoria house at all, and some speculation has the Magazine listed just for advertising support. You have Cirque De Freak and Army of Darkness to make 8 houses if the the list is correct.
  8. I agree, 20-21 should be the earliest that Jack comes back. I know hes the face of HHN as far as original Icons, but he needs a break. The way I see it is this. If legit, and its seeming that it may be it was obviously leaked from someone at Universal and then given to someone that obviously couldn't be trusted and sent it to a friend(s), and then the vicious circle began. So now you have this image that was supposed to be confidential floating around to who knows how many people. It's been mentioned various times on various sites a number of times, so it's not like it's not a known fact that it's been leaked. UNI can't blame anyone but the person that leaked it to begin with. I also think that now, it's great press/advertisement for UNI/HHN. It's sparks interest and discussion, it's a great way for UNI to get feedback form the die-hard fans that support this event the most while 90% of the public still has no clue as to what is happening unless they visit the official website. Just my 2 cents on that. I believe it says Creature of the Damned. Speculation about the Chucky one is that it says Friends to/till the End, and not sure about the Dracula one.
  9. Reading through the press release today you have this, For 23 select nights this fall, modern horror films are “Ripped from the Silver Screen” to frighten guests at what promises to be the most feared Halloween Horror Nights ever. Other horror films and characters from the movies, including completely re-imagined Frankenstein and Dracula concepts, will also be integrated into this year’s event. and to get an idea, here are the rest of the pictures from the IP Integration Chart that shows both Dracula and Frankenstein.
  10. I really hope they don't throw SAW in the worst possible place/site for a house. If UNI paid all that money for licensing and put it in the JAWS queue after last years disgrace to the Bloody Mary House, I'll be disappointed. They could do so much with SAW in a Sound Stage then they ever could in the JAWS queue. As for the site update, it looks good. I agree that its just this years version of a teaser as we have no full House or Scare Zone information, or any Icon/Mascot story. Glad to see the leaks are right so far.
  11. Correct. I had to look at it again, and it is in fact the bell tower. I've heard about it moving to Hollywood as well, sure would be cool seeing it again in Orlando though in some form.
  12. Reference picture: Skoolhouse/Church? This caught my eye after the early speculation/rumor of a wedding. This is what looks like the roof to last years skoolhouse, but instead of a chimney, it has a steeple with what looks like a cross on the top? Now I'm sure this could be anything, maybe Dracula?
  13. Here is the 2009 Construction thread. Post any discussion or pictures about construction here. The Staff at HNN don't encourage or support any "sneaking" in closed/restricted areas, in other words "backstage".
  14. UNIVERSAL HHN IS BACK 14-Jun-2009 Credit: Wild Indigo Orlando, FL - The Universal Studios "Halloween Horror Nights" campaign has returned to Wild Indigo@Karma Kollective once again. The major annual project will be shot this year in Orlando, Florida, both on sound stages and locations. Dean Karr will once again direct with Arthur Gorson producing. Production is scheduled for the second week of July, 2009. We are not at liberty at this time to reveal the content of the spots, but their classic impact is assured. This year's campaign includes broadcast spots for both Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood. Coke Zero is a co-sponsor with Universal Orlando Resort Hotels as tags. Agency is David&Goliath with David Angelo as Creative Director and Carol Lombard as Agency Producer. Yamani Watkins serves as Executive Producer for Wild Indigo at Karma Kollective. More news to follow... --- For those that don't know, they are the ones the shoot the yearly commercials.
  15. The IP picture has me too, one day I think its fake, next day I think it's real. The 2nd image, its looks like something UNI would use for advertising, but its such a low quality picture it's hard to say. I'd love to give credit to the source, however I have no idea who the original source is. Everything gets passed down 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th hand, and some sources rather remain anonymous.
  16. Works fine here also. Nothing has been updated since they added the auditions that I can see, and still no 2007 video.
  17. From what it looks like, the light on the 2nd picture is either glare from the flash or glare from a light source where the picture was taken. I did notice no 19 or XIX, but it resembles the Publix light covers they use at each register... I could be wrong.
  18. Alright, since speculation has started to slow and we all await the teaser/update to the HHN site, I've debated with myself to post the following. I know some in the 'know' have see the following images, and even have discussed them. Again, NOTHING is FACT, or OFFICIAL. Could this be the HHN 19 Tagline and Usher? "Ripped from the Silver Screen". If anyone has issues with the above images being posted, PM me. DO NOT debate/argue the posting of anything in the forums. Thank you. EDIT: Image #2 removed by request.
  19. Nice. We'll be there the FFP nights, so I'm sure we'll see you around. As far as Priceline, we haven't used it, but I know Michele does a lot. Maybe she'll see this and respond.
  20. I picked No, and No. Since I'm a HHN fan no matter what, I'll be there. I may not like everything I see, but I enjoy it none the less. It just has the special feeling to it that you know you only get one month out of the year.
  21. I saw this mentioned over on the Vault and decided to make it a Poll over here. Would you rather have a Parade and 7 Houses or no Parade and 8 Houses? IMO, I rather keep the 8 Houses.
  22. The same could be said about The Wolf Man, which don't have a release date till November 6th, 2009. I'm just not impressed with this list on paper, not to say A&D won't come through. I rather be in Hollywood at this point if they get SAW, Halloween, and Bloody Mary.
