  1. This house doesn't get the love it deserves. I know American is really awesome but this house as an IP and as a house based on Walking Dead is truly amazing. I mean, they really got everything, I was looking at it today and the house is really close to the show. They did a really good job at recreating season 3. I love it. I wish it started on the Prison instead, but this house was really good today. Not only were the sets close to the show, but the actors were doing a terrific job today. This house is everything the streets were not, as far as the Walking Dead Experience goes. What I mean is that the streets and Walking Dead in general are getting some hate, which is not good since this house was so well put together. I kind of wish they only had this house and One scarezone based on the walking dead because we really didn't need more than that. This house as good enough.

  2. I apologize if this ends up being the wrong topic to put this as I honestly had NO clue where to put it. Now, I'm positive I'm not the only one to think of this idea. I decided to put what houses, scare zones, and altered attractions Disney would have if they had an adult based Halloween event. So, here we go. Houses Disney Villains: Our House Now (Cinderella Castle) - It’s Halloween Night and the villains have taken over Cinderella Castle and made it their playhouse! Jafar, Captain Hook, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, and Hades lead the invasion. Walk through sets based off their films along with many others while being scared all the way. Abandoned by Disney (Adventureland) - The scary creepypasta is brought to life! Enter into the abandoned Mowgli’s Palace and see the horrors that lurk within. Can you uncover the mystery or will you die with it? Quick Death Mines (Frontierland) Enter the Quick Death Mineshaft, famous for it’s amazing amount of deaths. The reason for these deaths? The dead which have been lurking in their for years now. Can you traverse through the twists and turns? The Haunted Mansion: On Foot (The Haunted Mansion) - Take a look at the Haunted Mansion on your own two feet. The Doombuggies have broken down, forcing you to this. The ghosts are just as unhappy as you as they now are attempting to take you and break you down! Mermaids: Terrors of the Sea (Fantasyland) - You thought The Little Mermaid represented TRUE mermaids? WRONG. These are the real mermaids. Evil sirens of the sea which use their voices to attract fools to eat for dinner. Beware the high seas… ExtraTERRORestrial (Tomorrowland) - The replaced Disney experience is bought back in a brand new form. The carnivorous, winged alien has invaded the X-S Tech building and is causing complete chaos! You may have survived the original experience, but can you survive now? Scarezones Main Street Murderers (Main Street U.S.A) - Deadly killers and marauders have broken out of jail and invaded Main Street! They plan to kill all in their way. Get through quick… Presidents from Hell (Liberty Street) - Satan has sent up his presidents to bring new order to Liberty Street! Can you survive this new order? The Deadly Frontier (Frontierland) - The frontier as we know, wasn’t always a fun place. Now, it really isn’t. Crazed hunters, creepy children, and everything you didn’t expect from the frontier are all here. Altered Attractions Slaughter Mountain (Splash Mountain) - What if Splash Mountain had a different, bloodier story? The waters turn red in this mountain from hell as hunters slaughter everything in sight, including you! Enchanted Terror Room (Enchanted Tiki Room) - The Tiki Room is under new management from the horrors of the night! Make sure you enjoy yourself… It’s an Insane World (It’s a Small World) - The Clock Tower from Epic Mickey is back to destroy the ride and it’s blasted song for good. However, he has instead driven the residents of the ride as crazy as he is… So that's that. If you have any constructive criticism tell it to me as anything helps. Hope you enjoyed reading. Maybe some of you can come up with your own ideas. I may do this with the other Disney parks if I feel like it...

  5. I've always wondered why Disney has never turned California Adventure into an HHN/Knott's style Park while keeping Disneyland Park for the kids/families? It seems like an obvious no-brainer and I'm sure Disney is drooling and fuming with envy at the extra $$$$$ that Universal, Knott's and Six Flags make off their events..

  6. So this weekend my friends and I road tripped to Orlando for Horror Nights. All was good up until we were about 40 minutes away from Orlando and the driver (my friend) lost control of the car and ended up running into the median and rolling over 4 times. Thankfully we all had our seat belts on and there was some grass because if there wasn't the accident could have been a million times worse. So with that said, if you're driving, whether it be 30 minutes away or 5 hours away, wear your seat belts because it saved my life this weekend. Now onto the actual review. I'm gonna keep it simple and concise because there's no need to restate what a lot of people have already said. I had to push my friend around in a wheelchair, because yes, we still went but sporting some bloody shorts and some cuts and bruises. It was kind of a new experience pushing a wheelchair around, too. I'm gonna give my three favorites and then the rest kind of fall under the "meh" category but still follow the order of what I liked the most and the least. Houses 1. Evil Dead - This was my favorite house of this year. The detail was spot on and it followed the movie well. The layout of the house was somewhat awesome to me for some reason. The way you go from the woods to the cabin to back into the woods and then back into the cabin was very well done and and it felt very fresh and new. My only gripe is what was with the giant white screen with no video playing on it? But then you go into the cabin and the movie is playing? Felt very odd to me. Also the effects weren't really what I was expecting, the gore didn't seem there either. 2. AWiL - Lovely house and very well crafted. Felt bare in some areas but it still flowed very nicely. Was there ever an actor in the first room? Because it felt weird that there wasn't anyone in there. Anyways, the scares were there and I sets were great. Followed the movie very well and puppets were awesome. 3. CitW - The first half of this house was really, really good. The second half however... was okay but I didn't find it nearly as good or scary as the first half. Disappointed that the merman was just a prop and there was no unicorn scare. I felt like the second half was just full of missed opportunities but it was still pretty good. 4. La Llorona - This house has BEAUTIFUL sets. Like really just stunning but that's about it. No scares here really and the final was just so flat I walked out thinking "that's it?" The giant puppet for Hollywood should have been where the last scareactor is in the house. Also, this house was the hardest to get through with the wheelchair because there are some pretty tight corners. 5. Walking Dead - Great sets, followed the show well, but I didn't get why we don't start in the prison, but that's just my opinion. Scares weren't there for me but I thought the multiple paths were a neat idea and I hope they explore the possibilities of this in the future. Also, I appreciated that the wheelchair section wasn't scare-less. Actors were doing pretty good with what they had. 6. Havoc - Honestly this house could have been awesome but it ends just as it's getting good. Is this the shortest house in HHN history? Because it felt like it. I felt bad for the actors in the beginning because they're all in cages and they can't do much but yell at you. After the crash though things pick up, but sadly, that's when it ends. 7. Resident Evil - Honestly the only reason that this house isn't last is because of the sets. Again, beautiful. But scares? Pretty much none. I'm not really sure why they didn't just do the mansion considering that seems like a better setting for a house. The sets again were great and the references to the game were cool but beyond that this house really falls flat. 8. After Life - Honestly this house just flat out was disappointing to me. There were some neat rooms but it just felt very "been there done that" to me. It's very much like The In-Between but not as good. The best part was the knife bursting through the chest. Cool to look at but that's about it. Streets Honestly the streets, in my opinion, sucked. Has nothing to do with the actors because you guys were doing what you could, but what's exciting about seeing zombies everywhere you go? Nothing. The sets were cool but there are a few areas that were pretty much made for taking pictures, which made getting through with a wheelchair somewhat of a nightmare because of the crowds (especially in the woods area). It really just didn't feel like HHN to me at the end of the night. I didn't care about stopping to look at things or to watch the actors scare people because honestly, I could not care less about the Walking Dead. Not only that, but zombies just aren't that cool anymore. I was happy to see the Drill Team but they were in the worst possible place in my opinion. They really clogged up the area they were in and they could have been used to fill in the front of the park a little. Just didn't make sense to me. Overall, the streets were very disappointing and I hope they never give the streets a central theme like this ever again because it really just felt lame. I felt the legions were cooler because of the variety they gave the crowd, and yes, the sets weren't that extravagant but they were consistent and gave the actors what they needed to scare. I'd like to see a mixture of the legions and the classic scarezones in the future. Shows Sadly I didn't get to see any because we only had three hours in the park by the time we got there. Overall, I think this is the first year that I could have probably missed without really caring. I'm glad I went because it helped us all relax and have some fun after the accident that happened on the way up but comparing it to passed years I just don't think this year was anything worth running out to. I had a good time but I could have went to Howl O Scream and had just as much fun but for a cheaper price and might have even left a little more satisfied at the end of the night.

  8. okay, as someone that goes to HHN, I personally want to say that, With the huge crowds, the not so good street zones, and the long lines... Thank God for Rocky Horror picture show.... Seriously, if They would have given us another shltty magic show this year I would have freaking lost it. I know not a lot of people love Rocky Horror and some would like to see it go away, (Which it might) But for this year with the way the streets are, I am pretty glad I can at least go see this if the lines get too long. I know the show probably doesn't mean much to some people, but like I Said i personally am seriously glad they brought it back this year. Such a relieve to have it. The cast is doing an excellent job and I couldn't imagine what it would be like without it.... (I know most people say to check RHPS at City walk, but the production value of HHN Rocky Horror show is really high , the live singing, the dancing, the fireworks, HHN version of Rocky in on itself is pretty amazing to watch)

  9. For 2am closings, B&T is at 7:15, 8:15, 9:15, 10:15, 11:30, 12:30, and 1:30. For Rocky, it's 7:45, 8:45, 9:45, 10:45, 12:00, and 1:00.

  12. Soundstage houses usually open before 6pm for the Stay & Scream guests, so when they open the front gates at 6pm the lines can be already be around a 1/2 hour. Based on what I've seen online, Evil Dead gets crowded the fastest, so I would do CITW and AWIL first and Evil Dead as the last house of the night if you want to see them twice.

  14. The amount of complaining in general is hilarious. Nobody is happy... ever. But I never thought I'd live to see the day when people whined because a unicorn wasn't present at Halloween Horror Nights.

  15. The level of fangirling I did in this house is off the charts. It was ridiculous. "MERMAN!!! Omg they actually have a merman!"
