Went for the first time last night got through four houses and two rides. We got there late about 7:15 or so stupid GPS got us lost. We usually try to get there around five or earlier.

First the houses.

Alice Cooper didn't get it and house wasn't scary. Some good looking spider women though.

Walking Dead loved it but then again I love the show. Only complaint a lot of empty space were more zombies could of been.

House Of Horrors was awesome loved seeing all the old greats in one house. They got me twice once when Dr. Frankenstein popped out and, again when the monster lunged after me when he broke through some boards. I know alot of people are complaining about the masks but I think they go along great with the look and feel of the house.

Penn & Teller's Nuked Las Vegas a cool house with a fun premise. The 3D was ok but a little disorienting to me. The girls with three boobs were funny and my girl noticed it right away. Hit the red buttons and pull the rope in the house when you see them.

Ok now on to the rides.

The Mummy always a good ride.

The Simpsons nive clean family fun.

The Scare Zones

Been typing to much already ill just say could be better. Zombies just walking around. Warriors just in formations walking streets. Vampires at least trying to scare. Beasts doing the best with scares from what I saw. Also the Prisoners doing a good job with scares. Traditionals didn't really see them much. Iniquitas basically a photo op which I love.

We'll be hitting the park again tonight to finish up the remaining houses and rides. I'll post again after that. So far a great year for HHN.

Oh ok thanks for the info Cody. Yea it kinda suprised me cause I had read the warriors were really going after it for scares. Overall I think this years streets are very good and costumes are awesome. I had read people comparing the various masks to Lad Luck's horrible big rubber looking one's from last year. I myself don't see it. I think this year is far better than last year.

Ok so went to the park last night and was able to get in the remaining houses, rides, and even took in a show.

First the houses.

Silent Hill great house creepy feel with ash falling down and siren going off. Great creatures loved the nurses. They got me really good. Only negative is I totally missed Pyramid Head.

Gothic beautiful house scareactors were on point in this one. The house looks great and if you are looking at all the great detail the gargoyles will get you. They got me. The scare with the gargoyle flying through the night sky just awesome.

Dead End I loved this house. My favorite the scareactors were insane and went after us. Didn't really know the backstory of the house. Maybe someone can help me out. It didn't matter I loved this house. Me and my girl jumped so many times.

Now onto the rides.

Despicable Me fun ride. Rode it twice. Love the minons.

MIB was ok. The other rides were better.

The only show I took in.

20 Penny Circus good fun show don't take young kids.

The streets was pretty much the same. Beasts and Vamps were out working the scares. I did see the zombies going after people so that was cool. The prisoners were going after people aggressively. They were pretty cool. The Warriors again never saw them scarring just marching.

The house's from favorite to least.

Dead End

Gothic

Silent Hill

Walking Dead

House Of Horrors

Penn & Teller

Alice Cooper

I'll be going back Thursday so maybe the houses and streets will change. We'll see.

Went to HHN 22 tonight and rain pretty muched killed the streets. Got in at 6 and took some pics with the Iniquitas, Vampires, and Zombies. We then got in line for Dead End at about 6:22 it didn't open until 6:30. Then came the rains. It starting coming down hard while we were waiting in line. They starting letting us in with pretty much no wait. We then hit Walking Dead with a 5 minute wait but we flew through it. After that we got to House Of Horrors. We had to wait about 15 minutes so they could clean the house as water had gotten into it. We went to Alice Cooper next with a 5 minute wait felt like less though. We next rode Simpsons and the Mummy. We caught Bill & Ted next and it was ok. I've been going to HHN for four years now and never seen a Bill & Ted show. It was ok nothing special. As we were leaving we saw Gothic was at 5 minutes so we got in line. After Gothic we left the park for the night. The rain kept the house line short most of the night.

So my favorite houses as of tonight.

Dead End done it twice now and the scareactors still get me. I love this house still my favorite.

House Of Horrors done it twice and really love it. Not for the scares but love seeing all the greats in a house together. The Wolfman got me good tonight though.

Gothic a really beautiful house the design is awesome. Done it twice and will go through it again.

Silent Hill only went through once but really liked the house. I need to go back through to see Pyramid Head as I missed him the first time.

Walking Dead love the show never miss it. The house I like just to much dead space they need to fill it with more zombies.

Pen & Teller only did this one once. It's a good house with good characters. I just like the other houses more at this point.

Alice Cooper went through this one twice and probably wont do it again. I just don't get the concept and don't find the house scary.

I'll be going back to the park Friday and Saturday. Maybe my house line up will change.

Just got back from the park and was a good night tonight. The rain hit early but stopped by the time the park opened. Got in and right to Silent Hill with a 5 minute wait. It was a straight walk to the front door and in. Next was Dead End which had just opened and said 5 minutes. It was also a straight line to the door with no wait. Next up was Gothic which said 5 minutes but felt like about 2 or 3. After that straight to Walking Dead with a 5 minute wait. Next was Penn & Teller with a 10 minute wait but it didn't feel like it. Next was House Of Horrors with a 15 minute wait. Didn't hit Alice Cooper it had a 20 minute wait time. Rode Mummy, Simpsons, and Despicable Me. So a pretty good night finished all the houses I wanted by 8:15. In-between the houses and rides I got a lot of pictures and video of the streets. By 11:30 the streets were so crowed you couldn't move without bumping into someone. Houses were all 45 minutes or over Walking Dead was at 90 minutes at one point. So we decided to call it a night. One more day at the park tomorrow then back to Houston.

So my house line up after last night.

Dead End been through it 3 times and still love it. Everything from the creepy feel to the way the scareactors really get after you.

Gothic just a beautiful house with amazing visuals. We've been through it 3 times now and it's still awesome. The gargoyles look great as do the old decrepit monks. Last night the scareactors were really going for it as well.

House Of Horrors gone through 3 times now and I still love the old retro look and feel of this house. The scareactors really get in your face which is great. All of Universals originals in one house how can you go wrong.

Silent Hill done it 2 times and finally saw Pyramid Head. He lunged out at me so cool. I would say it's based more on the movie than the game. The house has scenes directly from the film in it. It's a great house and I think most people will like it.

Walking Dead gone through it 3 times and really like it. I love the show so I knew I would dig the house. Last night the scareactors were on their game and really aggressive which is good. I think the things that bother me about the house are the empty areas and the lack of a finale at the end.

Penn & Teller done it 2 times and it's a good fun house. At one point the 3D got to me and I had to take my glasses off. I just like the other houses more at this point.

Alice Cooper gone through it 2 times and just can't get into it. I could of went through it last night again with a relatively low wait time but couldn't justify waiting that long for it to myself. Universal please do not bring it back for a sequel the way Hollywood did this year.

The streets are good this year. I finally got to see all the legions out and scaring. The only complaint there are some areas were the crowds are so big the scareactors seem to just blend in instead of standing out. Well its been a good trip one more night an

d then a long drive home. We'll see if anything changes my opinion tonight.

This past Saturday was our last day at the park. It was packed house lines were out of control. So we decided to spend our time in the streets. We took alot of video and pics. I loved the streets this year. We rode Mummy, Simpsons, and Despicable Me. We ended up leaving the park around 9:15. We were up and on the road at 3:30am. Made it back to Houston at 5:24. I gotta say I really enjoyed this year went to the park a total of five times. My house line up stays the same as above. Great year in my opinion.
