HHN fan

Now that I have seen the movie I wouldn't mind seeing Wolfman done again. Maybe add and or delete a scene. The Crazies, or Zombie land. What about making a scare zone a house, the one from last year War of the Living Dead in a soundstage would be fun, not sure how scary it would be though.

Hush, USO needs to remember that the US is in a financial downturn, and people like myself need to start looking for airfare deals, and so I can buy our trip now and have it paid off by the time I go to Orlando, that way we have money to have a good time while we are down there. We just missed some good deals on airfare. Last year I bought our airfare on February 26th, and our condo reserved by March 1, And I didn’t buy anything till I know the dates for HHNs. This year we are planning on going opening weekend, so knowing the dates is more important than if we went the same weeks we have went in the past few years.( last two weeks ) it has been a few years since we went early in the run. I think the last time was Columbus Day weekend, and I think they did a Wednesday night that week that year. I hope your right that they release park hours next week. Then I can plan and start shopping for airfare.

Does anyone remember when USO updated their calendar for park hours last year. I Thought they had do it around this time last year, but I don't remeber the date. I had my airfare bought by 2/25 last year so the calendar was updated by then because I wouldn't have do so if I didn't know the dates for HHN yet. just curiuos if anyone remembers? Jim

hey Traveller my wife and I are planning on comming down opening weekend this year. the one thing I think that going at the begining hopfully all the animatronics will be working. we usually go near the end of the run aswell and it never fails one of the animotronics will be not working. yet I heard cool things about them and they were broken by the time we got down there, so by going at the beginning maybe we will not have that issue this year.

That’s the problem it makes sense. Common sense isn’t as common as one would think.

ya we are thinking opening weekend will be fun this year. I hope they do opening scareamonies with the public. we plan on going then on the chance we will get to see opening scareamonies. if things turn around for us we will try to do 2 weeks this year or I might come down without judy, because if she gets the job she just interveiwed for she will only be able to have one week off. and I am still out of work. thank god for the unemployment extentions.

I agree we went 2 years ago and it was alot of fun.

We are planning on trying opening weekend, we have to see how it goes this year. I have been unemployed for 14 months now. but I have been putting money away and we, can't miss HHN 20 and what to see opening scaramonies. the last two years I have dropped a bug in creative's ear that I would love to see something like they did 2002. I've seen a video and hope they do opening scareamonies with the public, unlike 18 where they only did it with the press.

Ok here is my take on HHN 19 Houses Wolfman 5.5 out of 5 stars. the set was great, the actors were awesome. The real trees in the second scene were a great touch for the moors. The transformation scene was great and a good scare right after. Thanks for the shot outs finner. The over head wolfman was a great effect. And the final scene was awesome. Dracula 5 out of 5 stars. the entrance with the pikes was an interesting opening. The actors and sets were great in this house. The furrys room was fun. Thanks for the shout out Amanda. The queezinart was a cool room where you had a choice which side of it you what’d to walk around. Frankenstein 5 out of 5 stars all of the different the creatures were cool. The scene where the creature throws someone behind the sheet was a great effect. The bride was fun as a distraction. The Fly props looked cool as power storage. Doctor Frankenstein was a great distraction for the last scare in the house. Leave it to clever 4 out of 5 stars. this house was good just on its creepiness. Turning people into meat was creepy. Meetz meat where the Z stands for cannibalism. Wolfs don’t make good meat. Silver screams 3.5 out of 5 stars. I liked the concept of walking into the movie theater and them each set was a different movie. We got a couple of shout out here. Chucky 3 out of 5 stars. A toy factory was a fun concept. I got great scare from the first guy in the stuffed animal wall. This house had many good scares in it. The spawning 3 out of 5 stars. There were a lot of boo holes in this house. The first 2 time through the sleestaks got my at least twice. The one up high was fun. It’s a shame the eggs had stopped working, they had great potential. Saw 2 out of 5 stars. The sets took too long to reset so we didn’t get to see many of the effects in this house. It was more of a museum for Saw with pig people to try and scare you. I will say I have only seen saw 2. It has been several years since there has been a good house in the jaws que, the last one I remember was DOT. Scarezones War of the Dead 5 out of 5 stars. The sets where excellent, and the story was superb. Great work with the pyro Brooke. The guns the sounded like they were really shooting was cool. One of the nights that we had our faces painted, we were a distraction and the scare actors used it well. Lights camera hacktion 5 out of 5 stars. I could have sat there all night and watched the cast scare people. Colin you are great with that chainsaw, and I liked the kick to the groin stunt you did. Cirque du Freak 4 out of 5 stars. We saw the movie last Saturday, and they did an excellent job portraying the freaks camp and the freaks, vampires were done well too. Horrorwood drive in 4 out of 5 stars. I didn’t get tony from scareface , but the rest of the characters fit. Reagan had some great scares, we sat and watched the movie and the actors at work. Containment 4 out of 5 stars. Only because I could have listened to Greg and Rocco all night pick on the crowd. The costumes were neat. I liked the concept. Apocalypse 2 out of 5 stars. This scare zone didn’t appeal to me, I didn’t see that many actors in the zone when we went through. A couple of busses and a overturned jeep for props, they weren’t dressed up enough. shows Bill and Ted 5 out of 5 stars. The show was great, better than last year. Rocky horror 5 out of 5 stars. Better than last year, but the first year is still my favorite version.

I heard that HRRR may not be running during HHN 19. anyone else heard this rumor?

I received the call today but I see MZ has given the info out so I doon't need too. we booked our tour as well there is going to be at least 7 of us HHN fan freinds on the same tour this year. it's going to be fun Jim

have they started HHN 19 radio add's yet? if they do and anyone gets a copy please share, I live in Indiana and love to listen to the commercials before we come down. Thank You in advance Jim

I received a phone call from the general manager of VIP tours today and was told the tour is going to be back, and I was also told she will call me back when the pricing has been determinded. so of course I will let you all know once I have been called. I think my e-mail to the SVP or operations helped this to come about, as I told him the museum is cool , but IMHO we could do without it and they could just have the consept art and floor plans out in the reception area were we got to see the video 2 years ago, before the tour. I don't know if this will be the modification to the tour, but I will be ok with it as long as we get to tour some of the houses. that was what was most important to me.

I got a reply from the SVP of operations today and I was given false information by the person I spoke to at VIP tours. They are still talking about what they may do this year. He said “we have created several different versions of “add-on” HHN experiences, with some being more popular than others. Although finances are usually an issue with such experiences. We also strive to insure our efforts to produce such experiences meet a worthy demand”. I am suppose to receive an update via e-mail when they have decided what they are going to do. I will pass that info on once I receive it.

Well I got a e-mail conformation that bill Davis or his assistant has read my e-mail about them not having the tours this year. I'm not sure if it well do any good. but maybe if he gets enough e-mails maybe he will look into our complaint, and tell the SVP of operations to to allow VIP tours to bring back the UTH tours. just so you guys know I tried to do this e-mail campaign with out blasting it on the boards as I thought it would have a better result. but I was wrong. so that is why I posted the president of USO e-mail hear. I didn't put it on the Vault because they can be a bit childish over there and that won't help our cause.

I just got off the phone with VIP tours and there will not be a UTH tour this year. I suggest everyone call guest relations 407-224-4233 and complain nicely. and I would Email Bill Davis the park presedent at Bill.Davis@universalorlando.com and let him know how you feel about them taking away one of the best tours they have ever done.

I turns out that when I posted this USO was having trouble with their computer systems but they now have the annual pass tickets avalible now.

I called USO annual pass holder line to buy my FFP and was told they were not loaded in the system yet so I couldn't buy them. that seems like false advertising to me, the web site says they are for sale yet i can't buy one.

Wasn’t Geppetto in Pinocchio? Puppets could also point to chucky. Just a thought, I have no inside information (I have no Tomatoes) , it is just a theory. We should be getting more information soon. In a week or too we should get the next update to the web site.

I was talking about Hollywood there always steal from orlando. the 3rd house in Hollywood will be Bloody Mary.

I agree with bring the tour back, but I can't say anything bad about LT as we were down there the last week and got the free Q&A on the last night and the speical Jaws tour. TJ ROCKS. but I would rather have the tour that LT, but I am only down there for one week and there are plenty of people that live down there and LT is fun for them.
