  1. Some shout-outs from Oct 1st... -Cindy in FEAR Revealed. Oh my god give this actress a medal. She is absolutely amazing in how she accurately plays her character, is around for photos, and STILL manages to get GREAT scares! I had a very brief "hello" conversation with her in the middle of the evening, she waved goodbye then pranced off - I turned my attention to FEAR, and then out of nowhere (on the other side of me) she pops up in my face and goes "HI AGAIN!" Brilliantly creepy and gave me a great fright. -Treak/Foon/Whatever in the Treaks & Foons room. There wasn't anyone in there opening weekend, so not only did the Treak surprise me and give me a good scare, his enthusiasm and commitment to the character was very solid - evidenced when he stayed in character during the cast change. On a similar note, the midway clown from the first room after the vortex also deserves a shoutout for scaring the shit out of my sister while in line for Catacombs - you guys were going through a cast change and he lept over the line and got in her face, exclaiming random gibberish - love it! -Everyone in the Alice room deserves another shout-out for being excellently creepy (in Alice's case) and great at harvesting scares in the Hatter & Rabbit's case. The three work off each other well which led to some great double-team scares. -Eddie in the last room. The line was being pulsed so we were the only ones in the finale - I believe the Storyteller (or maybe Usher) had just gotten us, and we were rounding the last U-Turn... I knew Eddie's hiding spot, but he was not there... he was crouching, right there in the middle of the pathway! He roared in our faces and made us all jump back. Excellent scare tactic, kept me on my toes, keep using it. -Entire cast of Catacombs, again. You guys are fantastic and your house remains the scariest at the event. Keep up the amazing work. -HAVOC... the first guy with the mask, you ALWAYS get scares even though I know (and many other people know) you're there. The chainsaw guy is great, the guys in the tubes always get me, the DOW in the cell in the 2nd room still plays his part great... I have to say most of the female DOWs also rock it particularly well in their commitment to scare you MULTIPLE times. I had an experience with that last time, and I think it was actually the same female DOW (right after the Chainsaw)... whoever you are, you're great, keep it up! -Orfanage... that damn black pirate got me again because I keep forgetting where he is in the house. The trick or treaters right before the fire scene were new (to me), so they nailed me wonderfully... and I have to say, the finale has improved DRAMATICALLY. The two trick or treaters here actually hide and create a good ping pong scare, and Cindy has found a way to both stare'n'glare and give a solid scare. Towards the event of the night, whichever Cindy started singing "Ring Around the Rosie" (ending with they all fall DEAD), you are my hero(ine?) The first Cindy has greatly improved, too, being very creepy and also getting a scare here and there. -Zombiegeddon - In my review from Opening Weekend, I expressed my disappointment that the zombies in the first few rooms largely don't scare you since they're supposed to be tamed. I'll retract that statement - I wish I could see the Zombie Mom pop out a little more, but the Carnival zombies were GREAT. They lunged forward and growled, and then seemed to "retreat", holding their collars as if forced to. LOVE it. Everyone else in the house (esp that suicide-prone nail-gunner) is still amazing. -Hades... the Spartan Warriors are kickass and effective, both Medusa's are amazing, and the individual who I'm guessing is supposed to be Icarus (has a beak-like mask with wings, and I'm pretty sure she's a female?). The latter is another scare actor who REALLY commits to scaring you multiple times, especially if you're separated from the pack... her room gives her the advantage of getting you from multiple angles, which she does effectively. That minotaur always nails me, too. -Psychoscareapy... Sadly not much to cheer about here. There were two individuals who REALLY got me (and not me letting myself get scared, them actually shocking me), but sadly the costumes are so non-descript that I can't really describe who was who. Apologies! -Legendary Truth... Pretty much most of the ghosts in here are doing a stellar job. The chair guy is great, I just wish he'd spring up a little more - I miss him every other run, it seems. The statues are still extremely convincing. I'll give some props to the finale ghosts, too - they have very, very little to work with (I don't think they even get an e-prompt?) but they really were making an effort to stay hidden and get scares. -Other Zones... the new black-hoods in Escueleto were doing a great job of getting some scares. Keep using those coffins, it works well. That Chucky & Mary Shaw in 20 are very enthusiastic. Saws'n'Steam chainsaws were going all-out, as well.
  2. I assume you're referring to the new black-cloaked figures - in which case I agree, completely! There were now some legitimate scares going on in the zone in addition to the foreboding atmosphere. Great move.
  3. No kidding. They lost my 10 bucks. The waitresses can ID, just like the bars - absolutely no discernable reason for such an odd restriction. A significant disappointment, and I will be submitting a complaint letter to Universal. Hopefully they wise up and eliminate that restriction by the time I return in 2 weeks.
  4. The VIP Lounge is definitely for 21 or older at this point; I was turned away, which really pisses me off - I'd been looking forward to it, and it was not mentioned in any park map or the website.
  5. My review after experiencing this house 3 times (twice at night, once during the day) Facade: C+ Okay, so the facade doesn't give off a good impression - it's garbage bags around scaffolding. The little plaques with information about the plague doctors is a great touch, I just wish they were more visible to the regular queue (even though I typically use Express). The "Le'Innocent" signs also help the facade a bit, but overall it comes off of as random. The little cart with body parts is nice, and the soundtrack is unsettling, too. Luckily, the innards of this house easily make up for the lackluster exterior. Sets/Details/Costuming: A- Yeah, yeah, it feels like one big set. I don't care. It's a freaking cool, creepy set. There are some memorable moments (the pit with the corpse), the huddled mummies towards the beginning, and the epic museum at the end. The costumes, too, are excellent - no Dead Exposure jobs here, these plague corpses are extremely detailed, gory, and impressive. The plague doctors, too, are a nice surprise, and they make a great addition to the long line of creepy character types at HHN. They're also far more menacing than I expected... they have a certain menace about them that I can't quite explain. Probably has something to do with the fact they got screwed by being sealed in the Catacombs when they had previously been the ones to administer such a horrid fate... Scares: A In all honesty, this is currently the most intense/scary house of the event. It's sets may not be NEARLY as cool or innovative as Legendary Truth or Hades, but both casts of this house were on FIRE opening weekend - I was getting nailed from every angle. I've never seen such an energetic, enthusiastic, and downright FRIGHTENING cast. These guys know how to use their rooms effectively and create some great scary moments. That final room is absolutely terrifying - but I'll get there in a moment. This is a house that depends on the actors for primal scares, and as of now, they are delivering in droves. Finale: A This is a good choice for a finale that, as I mentioned just a moment ago, is terrifying and makes you want to run out of the house (which is exactly what a finale should do). Ominous in tone, the finale provides a good conclusion to the plot - several victims are exhumed from the Catacombs and put on display in a museum, only for passerby to learn that they didn't quite die. The air blast/strobe/manys tatue effect is simple but ingenious - I got tangled in the sheet which completely destroyed my guard and allowed for excellent scares. Overall: A (not an average) Most intense house of the event for now. Good sets (if a little repetitive), and the best casts I've ever seen in a house. The facade is the second-worst this year, but the fantastic finale & main house make up for it. Definitely in my top 3, not-to-be-missed.
  6. My review, after having visited this house 3 times (2 at night, 1 with the sun) Facade: B+ This facade is solid and well-done, just didn't "wow" me for whatever reason. The anvil trap is a great touch, and I like the Z.A.P. posters & vehicle. A new unique queue video is also greatly appreciated, especially since this and Orfanage seem to be getting the heaviest lines this year. Not much else to say about it... The effort and detail are there, I like it, it's just not the best. Sets/Details/Costuming: A The Disaster queue, despite its location, probably has the most easter eggs and little details of any of the houses. I loved going through this house JUST to find the little things A&D tossed in here. The demotivational posters, the political slant posters, the Z.A.P. ads, it's just fantastic and I love all of it. Bigger little fun things, like the zombie baby & the flailing arm at the garage, are also kickass. I also have to say I love how they laid out the entire house - beginning with the amusing & silly before quickly turning it into an all-out chaotic scarefest (though I'll get into more details in the scare portion of the review). The make-up and costuming for the zombies are very solid, and I love the jumpsuits & collars the "tamed" zombies wear. I know a lot of people say not to hit this house in the day time due to the light leaking in, but I enjoyed a day run simply because it meant I got to see even more detail (the non-HHN fanatics in my group noticed and enjoyed that, too). Scares: A- By its nature, Zombiegeddon has almost zero scares (with the exception of the zombie baby) in the first third of the house... I think to an extent this hurts it. I know they're supposed to be tamed, but I want to see the Carnival & Nursery zombies lunging (vainly) at me... something. But as soon as you hit the break room where the zombies start going insane, the house becomes terrifying. Every single room holds great adrenaline and I was getting scares from every angle. The caged room, body bags, garage, etc. are all chaotic and frightening... it builds so effectively with the alarms, strobes, loud noises, and music. My only other complaint would be that the house simply doesn't last long enough. The adrenaline gets so crazy and then the house unfortunately ends, since the first third of the house was devoted to setting up the plot. If there were more scares in this part of the house I would imagine this complaint would be nullified - or, if Zombie Gras could keep up the same adrenaline, but that's for another review. Finale: A- I have no problems with this finale, really, other than the fact it doesn't feel like a finale. The garage is a solid (albeit random) room and I enjoyed it big-time... the strobes are good, the adrenaline is still wickedly high, and the scare actors know what they're doing. Keep up the great work I guess, there's nothing else that could really improve this. Potential: A This house exceeded my expectations greatly. The sets are awesome, the plot creative & coherent, the scares great and the laughs right where they need to be. I was expecting an all-out humor house like Cleaver (which is fun, but not usually my favorite), but this found a very good blend of both humor and legitimate scares. I hope they stick to this sort of format in the future. Overall: A- (not an average) Great house. Solid blend of scares and humor, high adrenaline, unbelievable detail, and a plot & theme everyone can enjoy. If I see some improvements scare-wise in those first few rooms, my grade will likely be bumped up to an A (I'll re-evaluate after I take a few more trips). This one's not to be missed, folks.
  7. My review: This could change, but I've experienced each house 3 times, so I feel like I have a pretty good basis to go off of. Facade: C It's the Jaws queue, so you can't expect anything elaborate, but it's definitely the weakest facade this year... the Good Harvest Orphanage sign is cool, but half of the time it was blocked by staff members or (ugh) garbage cans! Loved the swing-set and self-moving see-saw, though. Details/Sets/Costuming: B The costumes are pretty much The Skool with the exception of Cindy herself. The sets are, with a few exceptions, were relatively creepy and memorable. The floating girl is a fantastic, unsettling effect, the caged beds were a great idea, and the cribs were creepy as well. The fire effect was very well-executed and as best as it could possibly (safely) be. I have to say, though, the plot for this house confused the hell out of me. We're in this Orfanage where the kids are kept in cages, I guess - so the kids rebel. But where are the teachers/adults/whomever? How does Cindy just magically decide to set fire to the place, and moreover, why after the fire scene is the Orfanage still in such good shape? I think having some sort of instructor in the first or second room, with some sort of kill at the end, would've made this house's plot a lot stronger, as well as a truly "burning down" feeling in the last room - I was expecting red lighting and "smoke"-fog everywhere instead of the basic boilers. Still, though, I have to say the audio for this house is perfect and amazing. Sad thing is you can't hear much of it due to the screaming - but when I went alone on Saturday right when it opened I really got to take in the ambiance. It's great, and I wish everyone else had the chance to hear the great soundtrack & Cindy talking. Scares: B The scares here are on par - I never felt truly terrified or wanting to get out, but I got startled pretty frequently. The problem is that most of the orphans don't have very good hiding spots - this isn't their fault, but they largely have to stay in plain sight and just hope someone isn't paying attention. That's why the caged beds, the pirate scare, & the dunce scare work so effectively - you don't know they're there until they appear. Cindy, for that matter, is sadly not scary - not because the make-up isn't scary or the actress is poor or the character isn't creepy, but because again neither of them have any real hiding spots. The first one just sort of stands in the first room, while the last one lurks behind the barrels in plane sight, seldom coming forward since everyone is drawn to her. They need to find a way to give her more effective scares, as Cindy's an enticing character and scares from her ARE possible. Overall, though, there's some solid scares to be found here, but there's definitely room for improvement. Make me truly feel like the orphans want to kill me because they fear me. Some gore would honestly help (again with an instructor), but it's a little late for that. Finale: C The finale here is weak. You get the great fire scene (even if it's pretty much unexplained) and are left with the boilers from Scary Tales. Having Cindy in the finale is a no-brainer, but there's no effective scares here - you have Cindy and two orphans in relatively plain sight around the boilers attempting to startle passer-by. As I noted above, we should see more of an effect of the fire, some gore from an instructor, maybe even some strobes to really sell the idea that this place is falling apart. Ah well. Potential: B- Overall, this house did a fairly good job living up to its promise - a means of showcasing a very, very creepy children's orphanage with Cindy as the star. There's some cool ideas I wasn't expecting (the dunce setpieces & scares, the cargo net, the execution of the fire effect, floating girl) that really sold the house for me. Orfanage would've gotten an A in potential if it had utilized the fire theme more (Ashes to Ashes, remember?). Overall: B- (not an average) Orfanage suffers from a lack of a coherent plot and its lack of willingness to fully explore the fire theme, along with a weak finale and some stale scare tactics. That said, the atmosphere is great (when it's quiet enough to hear it), the scare actors have good energy, and seeing Cindy in a house is a real treat.
  8. Bill & Ted: 7:30, 8:45, 10:00, 11:15 Brian Brushwood: 7:00, 8:15, 9:45, 11:00 (it does not state which is Menace or Malice; I would assume they alternate starting with Menace...)
  9. At the park exit and in front of The Simpsons Ride they were most definitely playing music from the Inception soundtrack - not sure which specific track, but hope that helps.
  10. I understand you want to defend the show, but the bottom line is I understood what they were trying to do and it was still not funny. If a huge fan of the event who gets the metahumor doesn't find it funny, the general public sure isn't, even when intoxicated. The show was very weak, and has done a better job of parodying itself in the past with the "so when do we start randomly dancing?" lines.
  11. My shout outs... apologies, but with a few exceptions I have no idea which cast was which. -Hallowed Past: Alice in Cast A - she does a great job of getting in your face and being very creepy. I went through alone during the AP preview on Saturday and she did a great job of invading my space as I proceeded through. -Catacombs: Entire cast, especially A, for just being effing intense. You got in my space, got some great scares, and weren't afraid to target me even though I'm a tallish guy. One of the plague doctors in Cast A during the AP preview did an especially great job - I was proceeding through alone and the doctor followed me through his room, ending it with an "I'm watching you" gesture. Wonderful! Also - the finale room pair - you have a great scare and are using it effectively, getting me every single time. Don't hesitate to alter your position every once in a while to keep giving me surprises. HAVOC: Guy in the cell (room 2) both casts. You're a great actor and make the part very believable, getting some great, effective scares with your deranged and fast-paced movements. Keep it up. In addition, Chainsaw Guy in Cast A - I was far behind the conga line and made a wrong turn into your boohole around 6:20ish (AP preview on Saturday), and you proceeded to block my path, activate the chainsaw audio, and shove the blade in my face (trapping me) for a good 10 seconds. One of my top scares of the night. Also the bald female about halfway through the house (also cast A around 6:20) who was incredibly persistent in her scares - she made me a jump a total of 3 TIMES from her SINGLE boohole - just when I thought she went back into hiding she leaped out again and again, love the enthusiasm and devotion to the scare! Finally (seriously, finally) the guy in the red tarp room Cast A - you were sitting on the ground when I went through and it actually worked surprisingly well, since I didn't expect to see you so low - you sprang up with the aid of audio and nailed me. Most of the cast in this house are on their A-game. Orfanage: Black Pirate Guy, Cast A. Your costume is a little cheesy (no mask to hide your non-child age) but you still managed to scare the sh*t out of me on both of my runs on Saturday. Great job. Also, Cast A Cindy at the end - you saw me looking directly at you on my way out but you still didn't hesitate to activate your audio and leap out to scare me, giving a malevolent smile. Love it, please do attempt to scare people who see you more, it's often unexpected. Zombiegeddon: Zombie hiding in the pillar in the first scene where the power goes out (with the chain link fences). You get me every time, even though I know you're there. The guy with glasses who's speaking into the intercom in Scene 2 is also hilarious, I love his dorkiness and it really sets the ZAP feel. Body bag guys are great. The nail gun shooter is a blast to watch, with a truly deranged feel - he even did a "suicide" shot before he hid again, which I thought was brilliant! Hades: Both Medusas, the Minotaur, and the finale Spartan Warriors. The latter in particular really know how to create consecutive scares, using their booholes effectively - they'll scare me once, pop out a little further down and nail me again, and then get me one final time on the way out. Great stuff! Psychoscareapy: Jail cell guys - you're lucky to have such an effective scene, please keep using it so wonderfully. Whoever really went all out on reaching his hands out menacingly to grab at me, blocking me for a good 5 seconds, I salute you, love it. Legendary Truth: Hmm. I'd say scrim hallway dude, slider (though I didn't see him at all on Saturday), bedroom girl, face-light popout (in the living room, I think?), creepy skater, and hall of doors popout were all rocking it on my runs. The golden/bronze statues in the conservatory were excellent - perfectly convincing human statues who knew just when to strike. Most of the cast is great, I just wish the finale ghosts would make more of an effort to scare people. Escueleto Muerte: Honestly, no real shout-outs here - it was all stare'n'glare. Twenty Years of FEAR: Cryptkeeper, Wolfman, & Mary Shaw were really rocking it the only time I went through around 7:15 on Friday. I hope to make a few more runs through this coming Friday to see more of you. FEAR Revealed: Jack & Chance are fantastic actors. The Usher I took a photo with was playing the part well - and The Director & Storyteller were quite good, too. Eddie was making a real effort to get some scares which was nice, but Cindy (around 7:15 on Friday) deserves some serious praise - she knows her character more than anyone, it seemed. Love the accent, very playful charm, and creepy as all hell - love the conversation I had with her. FEAR is cool but kind of useless (not his fault, I'm sure his direction is to stay put, I wish he could scare people...); his Minions do a good job of "worshipping" him, again, just wish they could run around scaring, they have some pretty cool costumes. Zombie Gras: No real shout-outs in this zone with the exception of an apology to a female Flamingo zombie: I forget the time, but at some point on Saturday two members of my party thought it'd just be hilarious to videotape themselves party-boying one of you guys. I told them to respect the scare actors and to not do it, but they don't seem to listen to me much on these things - I guess you reprimanded them, and I apologize for their actions, hope it didn't piss you off to much. Saws'n'Steam: Great zone, love the enthusiasm from the chainsaw wielders. There was one chainsaw in the Lagoon area who gave our group special attention - he began following a girl in my group very quietly but diligently. I was a bit behind them so I ended up walking right in time with his motions, making it appear as if I was imitating him - thus I made the vocal comment "Man, I feel like a douche". The chainsaw played it off well by slowly turning to glance at me, smiling slightly, and then stopped dead in his tracks (already quite a distance from his zone). Another member of the party commented, "ahh, he's reached the border of the zone", to which the Chainsaw smirked again and charged right at us before flipping around to head back to the others. Great job, dude. The Coven: Probably my favorite zone so far... the chemistry between the actors/actresses are fantastic, and I especially love the Puritans. Creative way of getting scares, and your accents are spot-on. Also loving the improv with passer-by. The witches are very convincing in their movements.
  12. My interpretation of the icons' powers... Jack - Undead, so definitely a "power" so to speak in that for the time being he seems invulnerable to typical means of death. The Cane of Souls in 07 allowed him to bring forth the Carnage Killers, so he at least possesses an object with mystical powers. Eddie - No supernatural abilities - a deranged, mutilated maniac. Caretaker - As far as I can tell, ambiguous as to whether or not he's dead - the house burned down but I believe it's never directly stated whether or not he survived and is simply seeking vengeance, or died and is a vengeful spirit. I'd personally support the "being dead" theory given his apparent ability to manifest himself, as seen in the 06 video... Director - No supernatural abilities - a charismatic, obsessed snuff film director. About all he really needs. In recent years, apparently undead given he was resurrected in the 06 Arrival - ambiguous as to how/when he died... Storyteller - Definitely a combination of the supernatural and practical. She has the ability to call forth stories and bring them to life, as seen in Terra Cruentes - as well as seemingly having the ability to "write stories" as they happen as in the 06 short film. Also seems to enjoy exacting personal killing, as seen in the 05 commercial and 06 arrival show - in Fear Revealed she has a knife rather than a book. Her role in 06 with Dungeon of Terror further confuddles me in terms of her reliance on the supernatural, as that house was a very gritty roadside spookhouse with very little supernatural involvement. Hmm. Bloody Mary - A serial killer in life, a supernatural killer in death. She's a vengeful spirit who attacks those who dare to call her through a mirror, all there is to it. The Usher - Like the Storyteller, this one is a tad ambiguous. It is heavily implied on the website that The Usher had a lot to do with the various killings at the Universal Palace Theater - but almost all of them (especially the Chucky, Jigsaw, Spawning, and Wolfman killings) seem to suggest that the movie character himself perpetrated the crime, not The Usher. This leaves us to conclude that The Usher merely has the ability to call forth killers from the silver screen to do harm on those who disrespect the cinema. That said, it's also apparent that he can kill personally when he chooses to do so, as evidenced by the Event Gate film "The Theater Rules", in which he murders a rule-breaker. Cindy - Cindy's the trickiest one since it's unclear where The Orfanage falls in her timeline. My inclination is to believe that Cindy is merely a messed up girl with a messed up life who happens to have an obsession with fire - it's a relatable state of pyro that drives people to do terrible things. It's also unclear when Cindy died in the timeline - as the whole plot of Screamhouse Resurrection was the idea of bringing Cindy back to life. This I think leads me to believe The Orfanage is a prequel tale, but that's a bit irrelevant to this particular discussion. My bet is that Cindy does not have any particular ability.
  13. My sister and her friend saw your Malice show on Saturday and said they were impressed and enjoyed themselves. Since it was a midnight closing night and opening weekend, I only saw Bill & Ted - but I'll be up in Orlando this Friday, and that being a 2 AM event night, I'll try to stop by for at least one of your shows. I'll introduce myself if I see you afterwards!
  14. My friends (who are all casual fans of the event and attended last year) said this year's show was trash - I'm inclined to agree with them. The Count was a fun surprise but dragged, Pecker was amusing but dragged, Hit Girl was good, Justin Bieber was good... everything else was honestly lame. Call it a parody of a parody all you want, but this didn't work so well. The chemistry between characters of different universes is what makes this show special and fun. And what the hell was with that godawful mixing for the final dances!? Telephone with California Gurls? What? Give us the songs straight, no need to try to remix everything - give us 30 seconds of each song and move on, hitting as many of the hits as you can. And don't bring back Bon Jovi for some random reason.
  15. FREQUENT FEAR PASS QUESTION I bought a friend of mine (John) a Frequent Fear Pass Express since he was going to be attending the event with me two nights this weekend. Unfortunately, a member of his family has been hospitalized and is expected to pass away in the next few days, so he is unable to attend. That said, I have his Frequent Fear Pass with his name on it. Naturally it has not been used. Am I able to give it to someone else, even though their name is not on the pass? Thanks for any assistance...
  16. Okay, so I guess I'll be the first to ask... what the hell happened with the merchandising this year? We have one excellent shirt (house shirt), one WTF shirt (FEAR shirt that looks nothing like FEAR), a recycled Bill & Ted shirt, and some (honestly) really basic shooter glasses and a sipper cup, all bearing the not-looking-like-FEAR image. And then we have a very bland, blood-text only "Twenty Years of Fear" pin. Is that really all we're getting this year? No 3rd shirt? No collectibles? No DVD, no more pins, no posters, nothing at all? I mean I don't mean to complain profusely, but I recall being promised more than the typical amount of merchandise this year - and we've actually gotten LESS! It's disappointing for me since I love to buy this stuff, and it's eventually going to be disappointing for Universal because I don't have much to buy (the two shirts and that's about it)....
  17. I was expecting the stilts on FEAR - I LOVE those little "shadow creatures" all around him making his cloak/wings move around. Makes him feel all the more powerful and imposing. His voice sounds different than what was on the website, but can't complain about that, for it sounds very epic. Loving it, can't wait to see more... any little house review tweets, Bloody Mary citings, reports on whether or not Hallow'd Past is super long?
  18. I did not see a separate stand for the Legendary Truth entrance - just the tarp with the safety warnings seen at the start of the video. If the stand is there and I just didn't see it, I stand corrected!
  19. Queue video @ Legendary Truth confirmed. Seems the scare actors aren't out on the streets yet. Are there no actual signs this year, and just the little warning "tarps"? If so, a small disappointment, but eh...
  20. Excellent, thanks. Hopefully they'll still have some on Friday. Are there going to be more pins, or is that it? Sort of a bland/basic design... I'd like one with the lantern, or if we're lucky, a holographic one with FEAR...
  21. Hey guys - I'm taking a speech class and (lo and behold, to my pleasure) my teacher has allowed me to give my first informative speech on Halloween Horror Nights. That said, I'm going to be needing some solid sources to cite the written speech - I'm already going to be using the Horror Nights Art of the Scare DVD, but I need a few other good sources (HHNVault would've been great if it were still up), based on HHN's -Content -History -Popularity If anyone has any good sites (especially with testimonials, content descriptions, awards, statistics, etc.) that'd be more than amazing. Thanks for any help!
  22. Is there any way to get that pin if you aren't attending the RSVP'd Passholder Parties but ARE a Preferred Annual passholder? I can't attend the parties due to having too many guests to accomodate but I'd totally snag that up.
  23. Absolutely incredible work. Creepy, scary, enlightening, and epic. Absolutely loved the game and the rewarding clip. Congrats A&D, you've transformed this disappointing site into a huge success in my eyes! Can't wait for the event!
  24. I see the resemblance - especially with the eyebrow shape. May or may not be a coincidence. In any a case, if the facade looks like what's pictured (big rock structure shaped like Hades, entering through his mouth), I will be in total awe.
  25. I love, love, love, love, LOVE the house shirt. It has so much more style than previous incarnations. Definite purchase. I also like the look of the Icon shirt, especially the nice touch of the lantern. The face of FEAR, however, is a little disappointing. I was picturing something a little more demonic - with kind of the roots growing out of his head (what it looked like in the video). The hair makes him look like Frankenstein like someone else mentioned. The wings, however, look awesome, as do the chains - what a cool idea (with the whole genie-in-a-lantern concept). Basically, the only thing I don't like is the fact that FEAR has hair, and the expression on his face - looks a little goofy. Can't wait to see some glossy media shots of FEAR, though! Both of these will be definite purchases. Now where's that third shirt?
