  1. No flames in Zombiegeddon. Maybe in Zombie Gras, but not in the house. I hear it may be in the Orfanage, but possibly also the Hallow'd Past house... Not too sure though.
  2. Yes, they have confirmed where the CDT members are... New York and Hollywood Blvd. NY is a full-on saw zone by the description on the website. Hollywood has been confirmed as having CDT members cast there as well... Although nothing has been publicly mentioned (yet) to the fact that they are there. But I agree, the sidewalks will probably be off-limits, but I don't really see them chainsaws roaming, so thats not a worry.
  3. If you look closely, you can see where paint overspray is on the paper. I bet it will come off soon. Probably in the process of painting it.
  4. Yes... back to construction... I remember in the conference call recaps that someone mentioned "open flames" in either a house or street. Which one was it? And do you think they will be using open flames in Hallow'd Past? Since it is supposed to be "the lantern" or something like it.
  5. It has nothing to do with Christians... It's high school kids with no respect for other's property. If there was some other event before HHN it would be the same complaint. Get over it. The complaints come from everyone here... We just hate to see things destroyed before the event even starts... It's a proven fact that things get messed up around RTU.
  6. I doubt they'll destroy it. As others have said before... The parents/chaperones will get enraged and come back during HHN and throw Bibles at us. It does surprise me that they put these sets up so early, though. I like the idea, but I feel there might be some backlash for having it up so early.
  7. The saws never usually change unless they paint them. I have noticed they have a "preferred" brand or style they go with every year. That and they try NOT to buy new saws each year as they are one of the most expensive props in the event.
  8. AND it's on the way to the amphitheater, directly in line with the entrance... Those guests will be greeted by some pretty faces! LOL
  9. Are they really going to leave this stuff up for Rock The Universe? I thought they didn't put this stuff up due to complaints from all the Holy Rollers that show up for that event...
  10. Hell yes! Boomers, Hunters, and witches... Bring em on, I'll have my shotty!
  11. As do I... But he hasn't been shown AT ALL on the website... Just the sign for RUN. If he is in Hallow'd Past, I guess I could be satisfied. But I doubt he will be making any future appearances.
  12. Eddie is my favorite HHN character/icon. The fact that his ACTUAL story got scrapped due to 9/11 sucked but, I feel he was still represented well in 2006. I got to play Eddie at the end of Run: Hostile Territory and I LOVED it. I really wish he was coming back this year... But if this is the end of Jack, this is the end of all previous Icons. Which will mean Eddie is going to burn with the rest of them this year. I have a feeling it's because Roddy is no longer with HHN/Universal, and they are ringing in a new era of horror. It's completely understandable if you look at it that way. The man that created most of the houses and icons isn't here to see it through any longer, so they need to do something new. In my honest opinion, I am glad to see them all go. Mainly because the past few years have been re-hash stories with Jack, Caretaker, and Director. Aside from introducing a couple un-creative icons (Bloody Mary, The Usher, Story Teller), Universal hasn't topped themselves very well when it comes to creative story lines in almost 6 years. HHN 14 was the last time I saw a complete re-work of the event, and so far, aside from the fun I had last year being a chainsaw, it was the best year (for me... I'm not trying to stir up arguments here). But this year seems to be a whole new direction and a pretty good farewell to what Universal has created over the past 20 years, and especially the last 10 years. Bringing in this new face of horror, Fear himself, will bring a new crowd and new interest for everyone. Especially since it's clearing the slate so we can start fresh for the next 20 years (or however long) of HHN. To me, this is all a good thing. Sadly, I didn't get to see my favorite character portrayed this year, but I am satisfied I can let it go and start a new obsession!
  13. I think Zombiegeddon will be the Cleaver of 2010. It seems the Disaster house has been the butt of jokes the past few years, but maybe that will be motivation to pull out something good this year! Are we looking at a possible tie in to the movie "The Crazies" at all... Not sure if it's a Universal film, but I don't doubt they may take scenes from it... who knows though... I will be working in this house this year and have no clue as to where they are going with it... The description on the site is rather vague... other than telling us we know we will have 2 kinds of scare-actors... Zombies, and Zombie-Killers... hmmm
  14. Everything is working.... At least for me. Can't wait to see what kind of "un-live" character I am... LOL
  15. Hmmmm... I thought you would know a little more there Sinister... It's ok. You will know more than others soon!
  16. From what I've noticed... The site being down has usually meant an update is coming... Keep fingers crossed!
  17. Like I said before... Maybe the tie-in is coming from the small nuances around the park last year (obviously carried over from HHN 18, to keep consistency). LITC was set in Carey, Ohio and the bus in Apocalypse was from there too. Universal usually does a good job to change stuff that doesn't fit a theme. And this must have been intentional. Little things will keep the fans connected. But guests will have no idea of a tie-in and will most likely have no idea anyone was trying to bring it all together. Mainly the people in LT (which I am not a part of, I work the event) will see the connections as alot of you discovered hidden clues back in HHN 18 that you couldn't place... Go look back at all of that stuff and tell us whether the connections come from there or not. That seems like the best idea as it all seems to have been talked about in LT before. I would check but I have no idea how LT works. But yes... This year will be big. Not only for fans, but for the scare-actors themselves. I am so excited to be part of the event this year. This will be my 5th year working the event and my 7th year attending. I really look forward to this time of year as my Halloween season starts in the last week of September. But I can't wait... Only 1 month till rehearsals start!!
  18. I completely agree. Last year was amazing, but seemed to be a VERY generic theme. So I don't doubt that it will be some sort of continuation of HHN 18. I had no clue they were working on HHN 20 that far back. But I do think you may be right. I don't think that they want us to forget last year, obviously. So they would have to tie into the other houses of last year. Specifically, "Leave it to Cleaver". That was specifically about a town (Carey, Ohio) and the crazy people living/working there. So they obviously had the idea to continue the theme of Carey, Ohio. But why?......
  19. You don't know if it was last minute... Seems to me that since many of us were told last year that HHN 20 was in the making while HHN 19 was going on. They definitely meant to tie the two events together. Yeah, yeah, maybe they weren't tying it specifically to how they did the site this year, but it definitely fit the theme. And I feel they did mean to do that. Whether the lights were red or not, I think they knew where they were going.
  20. I thought there was a little bit of a debate whether the Terra Queen was the icon or not that year... Because we had the Story-Teller as the marketing icon, but the main attraction and theme among the houses/streets was Terra Queen... Was this ever really cleared up or figured out?
  21. This is true. I had an ill feeling of the whole event when I heard that Jack was most likely to return for HHN XX but then JMR suddenly decided to move onto other opportunities. Who's to say this wasn't all written before last year's event? (I remember being told at Orientation that the event is planned over a year in advance). Maybe he already made his choices for HHN XX... And thinking that Jack is his intellectual property, he would've limited rights to what they could do with his creation. But I wouldn't doubt Universal has their hands way down in his pockets to be able to keep Jack as their staple Icon. Although they have others to rely on, who knows what could happen... Didnt really expect what they brought us for Sweet 16 myself. And I believe that some "minor" icons/characters will be getting the highlight this year... Mainly for the die-hard fans like us who pay attention to detail and SHOULD appreciate the Projectionist. Yea, he's a dumb character, but who's to say he isn't running the whole thing this year...
  22. Yes, you will get to walk through it. As for a tour, maybe not so much of a formal tour with stops along the way. You will probably be walking out through the actual corridor for the house, but it's just on your way out. At least thats my experience. I've only worked in 1 house permenantly (Interstellar Terror - 2008) and we didnt have time to take a formal tour. But you have at least 2 rehearsals to see it before anyone else. And yes, if you put down full availability, you will be working EP.
  23. No I got what your saying... Will have to edit that one. But just because I have been around a little while, doesnt mean I know everything... So if you know anything I don't please add. I love this job. And wouldnt wanna hurt that.
  24. No, Keep it up. I was in no way trying to shut you up. Vault had a HUGE problem of people leaking info. They figure because they know, it might as well be public knowledge. This event is VERY top secret until about early September. So we all need to help eachother out (politely i might add) so we don't get into trouble or let anyone else get into trouble. We love to talk about this stuff, but obviously, Universal knows what they are doing and will take action to make sure it is all working the way THEY want it.
  25. I know.... I've been doing it since 2004 and have seen many people get fired. I wont post anymore than this for my role. I know to watch my back in that manner. I just hope the rest of you are just as cautious. I know to keep it quiet. : )
