I think they know that almost everyone on this board is so used to the past few years (Judging from the various polls and threads on the matter, a lot of the newer users came to HHN around 2006 and 2007) that they'll immediately begin thinking of movies that they can do houses for, rather than thinking of original ideas.
You know what that's a good point. I became a fan between 05-06 so all I kno is movie houses pretty much! I do kno one thing is I trust the powers in control to give us a great year full of terror. Me? I like the original stuff because in horror movies the people survive, in the storytellers demented stories noone survives hence more terror. Sorry for the cliche-ness in the middle of this rant.

Considering that we know nothing about Carey, OH other than it is the hometown of one of the main execs to HHN and that certain houses were based in that town. Does it really matter if it takes place in Carey or not???
Haha you do have a good point theres really no other signifigance other than that and it was used for LITC, but i guess whats important to me is that if this is one of these past houses that it isn't PS because e i didnt really think it was deserving of a return, however i did love the sets, as ive said already

maybe they decide to move on from shadybrooks and decide to pick a new area i mean alot people was talking about how carey,ohio is somehow incorparated with this year event then again i could be wrong it just a opinion and all will be reveal soon
I think you could definitely be on to something there, I mean I guess it could be original PS but I would love to see a NEW area with a NEW story, it has been said this year is a mixture of horrors past and new horrors.

I agreee i dont see HFTH returning because i loved that house because of the amazing sets in the house, not to take away from the outside locations, but i dont think they could make the great sets they had in that SS that year. When i think outside houses i think pretty simple sets, ie....saw, run, doomsday....and others like that......HOWEVER this can be disproven by Leave it to Cleaver, because the set in the end of that house was FANTASTIC, so it can be done, i dont see it though, but any guess is as good as anyones until the info comes out.

This is strictly speculation, there was no confirmation!! Just speculating, but at auditions today two really cute(yes that was neccessary) blonde girls were cast and of course we didnt know for what parts but there was a lot of talk of them being Cindys, whether true or not, idk but i thought they were more Alice looking, but i didnt see shadows of the past scarezone, maybe someone has pictures of the Cindys from that zone???

I got cast!!! I was #512 and i got there at like 1:45, and it was flipping crazy, the line when i left at 7:45 or so, but im super excited to get cast and look forward to be scaring with yall in Sept/Oct, man it feels good to say that!!

Awesome pics calvary we really appreciate them, and your disaster pictures make me angry because the parts weve heard got casted, none are for disaster, so we cant speculate on what it is(not that im speculating in this thread) so its kind of annoying, I wanna say it looks like a possible personal home setup and we walk through this garage, but it looks awesome, thanks again! i look forward to more

At reunion auditions. They passed out numbers around 3 and let us roam till 430 when they started things up.
Ok thanks TJ aslo, but I plan to get there at 2, and im bringing a book to keep me occupado, and i will note the umbrella, i wont look like an idiot will i? getting there at 2?

Just a quick few questions, if i arrrive at first public audition at 2 for the 6 audition should i expect to sit inside HR(the waiting room) or on the concrete sidewalk outside? and will they start the audtions at 6 and how long after that should the complete casting process be done?

Im not throwing out the idea of a 2 story house however i am throwing the idea out of there being one in Jaws queue, i agree with those that said its simply a scare platform. As cool as that would be, i have to say it wont happen. Now the SS or Parade houses have endless possibilities, i know castle vampyr accomplished it some odd years back. I wonder though if they didnt like it or they felt it was a safety concern, my reasoning for that thought is the fact that.....they havent done it again. Sorry for the mini rant but thats my two cents.

Dr Jimmy your speculation keeps this thread running!! haha i absolutely love the idea of a college gone wrong type house, i was talking with my sister yesterday after i read the cast part that looked like a college theme and we just went on and on forever on the things they could do with it. I think it could be one of those houses we never forget (unlike DOT:R, just to give an example)

Yes Dr. Jimmy the Direct approach. Every year people see things on the website, that really are not there. And this site is nothing more that one step from the placeholder that was put up a while back. The site does tell us that it is going to transform, HELLO PEOPLE, this is not the site it will become, just a stroll thru HHN History.

Agreed, i feel like this site is just a new version of the drawers, since it is a 20th year legacy type thing maybe they firgured they could amp up the tribute site, since its a big year, kind of like a present to the legacy of HHN, sorry for the redundancy i just want to make it clear, since peole arent able to take hints haha

As I keep reading the updated casts here and at rumor I keep thinking, am I crazy to think that Universal would just give fake names to everything? I mean we have had problems with leaks of info, they are obviously aware of it because thief info leaks keep going down by year. And the best way to keep the leaks down at this point in the game is to give fake names for everything till firstday and by then we will has the storyline out of the way. Is this even a possibility?

Call me crazy here but when i was on the site and clicked characters and environments and it said "coming soon" am i wrong to think these are renamings for houses and scarezones? and if so by the sound of it the houses will be given to icons, maybe mulitple in one house.

Doctors?
I can remember in 06 and 08 i saw like doctors in scrubs up front with blood all over them, whether they were related to the theme or not for the given years i doubt it, i can see 08 being related but i have no idea why they were there in 06

What if where going to have former characters welcome us to the event and there going to make way for the new era of Darkness. This could be the only spot where we see the past and after that its all new.
Thats an awesome idea for a scare zone despite being done again, i would like it to be the mainframe characters from past years. Although my only problem with the Hollywood SScarezone being a "welcome" zone is the fact that i know my family goes straight down production lane when going in, despite me telling them theres a zone in hollywood so how many people would miss this as ann opening gzone? I think itd be sick if they had this welcome zone around the arch, like where they had the usher, mary, and the doctors, etc.

first, as i said. people know their roles when they get called back...whether as its been said, today or weeks from now.
now, you can show up as early as you want. 5am i suitable if you so choose, as well as 6pm if you feel more comfortable.
if you are looking to get there before everyone else, and be seen. i would suggest being there by at least 1pm.
Understandable, i can see how it can mean something and it cant also, i really want a part though and if they need ONE guy in my sature for the event out of public, i wanna be that guy so im gonna go early. How horrible is the waiting? tthats something im not looking forward to, the 5 or 4 hours of waiting.

It is actually a seperate audition, there is one for B&T and one just for actors for HHN 20, ive never seen it before i guess i just overlooked it in years past.
