My group and I were told we need to "walk faster" by one of the ops in the house. We were moving a pretty fast pace as it was.
Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! Now that i have that scream out, i can also express my dislike of ops personnel, all they do is ruin our house by standing in our rooms, because even when one of us is messed with, they dont know what to do or dont care. Also i have noticed in my spot them telling guests to hurry up, who were walking too fast for me to scare them, what good does that do? Gosh Universal save the money and just get rid of them.

Man it was an awesome scare, i got another very similar scare in Orphanage the same night, both of yalls houses were just fantastic that night, but thank you for that!

This past Saturday the 2nd I took the night off to go as a guest with family. They wanted to see a show(can't remember which) and I didn't want to so by myself I went to Zombiegeddon and Orfanage. Due to it being about 1:15, though it wasn't during cast change because all scares were there, I went through both of these house with no one in front of me and no one behind me. Best experience ever! I do feel the need to mention one scare, I was about to enter a different room when all of the sudden the curtains infront of me flew open and a SA screamed in my face. I must have jumped 6th inthe air, I then told her that she got scare of the night, and she laughed. That might be the greatest HHN scare I have ever had, being a 6"3' male I don't get many, but you gave me a great one. If your on here thank you very much!!!

GOD! I hate people like this, but I love it when they get their comeuppance and get scared to death anyway! I think we should catch all those people, strap them into the icons sets, and make them listen to idiots all night long and see how they like it.
I love when they go too far and get kicked out and get trespassed. Stupid deuchebags!

Dead Exposure, to be much better, needs to be more like the room from that house. Drop the light levels so you can't see the outlines of everything when the strobes stop and fill the hall with hanging dummies. The old house was so badass because it was a total crowd of zombies. Better yet, get rid of the cheesy wall paintings and replace them with mirrors like in the Treaks and Foons room to give the illusion of a crowd.
My girlfriend didn't get to experience Dead Exposure, and these rooms don't do it justice.
P.S. Anyone see the Sleestak from Bill & Ted last year standing above you to your right as you exit the house?
They also need to paint us better, im in cast B in that spot, if we were better blended with the dummies it would make for better scares, if we had as much paint as the dummies it would help, but we work with what we have. When i catch a break in the line i run down the room and move all the dummies to make it look like EVERYTHING is moving.

Oh! And a zombie in the Dead Exposure scene in Hallow'd Past gave us a thumbs up for the HNN and Vault shirts. I asked ZChris if it was him, and he said it wasn't, so it must have been gatoralex.
'Twas i, i try to say something, but never get heard, so i decided to do thumbs until i come up with some funny lines.

Um... the parade building IS a warehouse. The facade doesn't get much more accurate than that.

And no, that's not a pun. I think I know who you mean, and there were multiple issues with this person. I cannot say enough about our other puritan though. He is fantastic and we all adore him.
That's crazy, all of our firecrew have been really cool people, they have been hoping that they get permed in the position, and doing a great job for no rehearsal.
I know some positions can get monotonous but it's bad when our guests have paid the money they paid for SA's like that to ruin it for them, shame

Yea heres a idea. Look at the one in 20 years of fear.
I know it sounds crazy but I would rather have much more quality inside rather than spending money and time on a facade we have already seen, on the outside of the house. Maybe I'm crazy though.

They could have made like a warehouse facade type looking thing instead of using just thoses pumpkins & whats with the old car park out in front?
Can you describe to me what a "warehouse facade" looks like? To my knowledge it doesnt exist, except just walking in a door........those props for the facade have been used in previous HHN's, hence their appearance there. The car also.

I really liked you scene though, I didn't get to see the house the room is from. What times are you on? I will be coming through in my vault shirt again tomorrow, so hopefully I can see you.. and by see, I mean make out your figure in the darkness. Lol

I will keep an eye out and make sure to amp up the scare, if i miss the original scare you may see me sneak in a door, and ill catch ya later in the room muaahaha, sorry got carried away there, anyway ha ill definitely keep an eye out.

Oh, okay! I got like.. one scare in that room. How many scareactors are actually in that scene? I was so weary walking in.. like.. "wtf? Its so confusing!"

Haha it is, and there are three of us. I have the whole right side of the room whereas my counterparts have one spot. I am like 4th person cause I bounce all around the right side font to back, front to back, so it's fun I love it, I really trip some people out with my movements!

I was just looking at the door to that facade, it is a rolling door, but its divided into two parts......any chance that might roll down come event time? and we walk through it, like we do with houses??? If that was the case it would make for some hardcore scares and it wouldnt give away the fear to be revealed farther down the pathway(at least in perception, we know its there but as were walking it would still conceal it).
Just a thought, i would love that if it were so.

There are a lot more lighting stands all over the park than i can ever remember there being, the streets as a whole have gone to another level this year. Just outstanding is the best word i can use.
As to the other marquee sign, it is the tribute house, so i would expect to see it in there.

So i just got back from the park picking up my EP ticket, so i snapped a few pictures, not much is different, i took a few different angles than have been posted(and if they have and i somehow missed them, i apologize). There is one thing thats new is they took out the regular Universal Studios Store sign above and put an HHN sign it, its pretty legit, i like it, its below, also got a little closer into Jacks tent.
Still missing 3 house signs, two SS houses(exluding LT) and Hallow'd Past, the rest of the signs are out

Agreed with the last three posts. It should be us against the guests, not us on the same team against each other. And of course I name teams here in the fight for SA safety.

I am a little depressed to see it "go". I feel like it has imprinted itself in HHN history and i will miss it if they dont ever bring it back. But alas like most of the stuff this year they say theyre looking to replace it, which makes me excited as well.
